After this conversation ends, you sit back down. Aside from the fact that he was angry when you mentioned Shisui... Itachi was kind of a nice fellow. Whatever that eye power you felt did to him also convinced him to help you against Madara when it was needed. The thought kind of reliefs you, however, if he was really made to be your guide... how strong could he really be? "So... Itachi. What about this Madara person...? All I know about him is what you said and that he's cruel." you say and Itachi sits down as well, leaning backwards slightly before starting to explain.
"He's a shinobi without rival. The person that brought the Uchiha clan to power, and the only person that has ever obtained the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan... One of the most powerful doujutsu that exists. His eyes makes the regular endless flames of Amaterasu and mind destruction of Tsukuyomi look like pathetic jutsu."[/b] he explained... Okay. So, he has really powerful eyes, and that's all you can understand. It almost sounds like a joke... no way eyes can do that, right? "The Sharingan is our bloodline limit, being able to copy any jutsu and defeat any genjutsu. The Mangekyo Sharingan is it's evolution... while the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan is even more powerful."[/b] okay. Magic eyes that cast illusions and copy stuff. Got it. Sounds wise to not look into them.
"Your eyes, for a second there... they turned into Shisui's sharingan. You dropped me into an 'illusion' that explained everything."[/b] Itachi said. Oh, so that's why your eyes feel so weird. "Including... what the final result of Madara's plans will be. It's something that I cannot allow to happen." he said, standing up as if looking into the distance. His eyes strained as it seemed like he noticed something. Immediately, his eyes turned red, appearing similar to Shisui's own red eyes... That was the Sharingan, wasn't it? That only makes sense. "This eerie chakra... Meet me back here in hour!"[/b] he demanded. You nod as he quickly jumped down the Hokage's mountain, descending by means of his agility, jumping onto multiple out sticking 'platforms' of earth, quickly reaching the ground... before he started to dash of into the distance.
Return in an hour, eh?
Hmmm..
Note, this is an important choice. You won't notice the effect directly... but it will hit you later on. Just warning you, as it might seem random
A: Go to the Hyuuga Residence (Hinata)
B: Go to the flower store (Ino)
C: Go to the library (Sakura)
D: Go to the forest (Tenten)
E: Stay here and wait (Nobody)
(I stated the names for a reason, yes. This will be fairly important... later on. Right here, right now, you're deciding a big part of the eventual plot. :()

Don't want any part of Sakura or Ino so that leaves Hinata and Tenten. I would pick A, but I'm afraid of her dying from this choice.

D, I suppose, she would make the best samurai anyway given her natural talent with sharp pointy objects.

Guys, we had a discussion about this in the chat not too long ago. We discussed how we'd train the girls to become powerful sword wielders.
Sakura would get a huge buster sword (because of her strength). Hinata would get a sleek katana or something of the like. We never really got into Ino or Tenten. But I'm on the same page as Ice, it's either A or D. Though I think it would be cool to train Sakura as well. Hmm.... Dang it. This is a tough choice. I'd love to change the timeline a little bit... Give Hinata a confidence boost and a katana. She'd be able to waste people with sword-tai skills and byakugan. But I do agree that Tenten doesn't get much coverage, which makes her character either generic or mysterious. Either way...
D vote

D vote. I mean, Tenten is already a master of weapons. She fits nice with our samurai character.

Since you still have an hour left, you decide to go to the forest... Itachi went to inspect something dangerous, anyway... Whoever, or whatever it was, might try to follow Itachi's tracks, right? That would make it rather dangerous to stay here, and thus, you take his suggestion to hard and start your descent from the trail. As a samurai, you're fairly certain that you could make the jump downwards if you cushion the landing with your chakra... but you haven't done that in a LONG while, so you aren't too sure of your ability and run down the trail instead.
A combination of the need to hide, and the fact that you wanted to go sightseeing a bit more, lead you to the forest... after a bit of trailing, into it, you see a young girl with two small knotted balls of hair on her head. It looked rather weird, but cute in a funny way. This young girl was constantly grabbing onto ninja equipment from her pockets and throwing it wildly at a tree... so young and already a ninja?
Your eyes follow the kunai and shuriken she was throwing, the sheer fact that barely anything was hitting the tree, much less the target kind of disproves that theory, but whatever... This girl was extremely young and already training her ninja tools. It seems like she really wanted to become a ninja, huh?
You step slightly closer and crush a tree branch. Immediately, she turns around "Who's there!?" she shouts, seeing you and seeming surprised and confused for a second... and throwing a lot of sharp objects in your direction. "Don't look!" she shouts in a defensive tone as a flurry of kunai and shuriken fly around you... none actually getting close to hitting you, you don't really feel threatened.
After a lot of thrown objects, she gets tired... Panting and falling to her knees. Flailing her arms like that to throw everything must be tiring, huh? "Don't loook!" she blurts out again ina defensive tone.
A: "Don't look at what?"
B: Laugh at her for having a horrible aim.
C: Ask what she was doing.
D: Stay silent, leave (If you choose this, see the last choices and just pic a second letter)
E: Other
1: Offer to help her train in long ranged weapons.
2: Offer to help her train in close range.
3: Don't offer anything, yo.

"Don't look at what?" you ask, a bit. All you can see is a young girl training to be ninja and-
"M-Mom will get mad if she sees me practicing with her stuff!" the young girl quickly blurts out at you, running out to the tree and quickly grabbing up the many scattered kunai and shuriken, stashing them in a small bag on her side before running over to you and grabbing the kunai and shuriken that flew past you as well and stashing them in her pocket.
"Why are you training out here if your parents won't let you?" you ask as a slight of interest comes into your mind and she quickly shakes her head "I wanna become a great ninja like my mom and dad! Protect the country!" she says with a happy giggle... before her eyes simply rest upon you. "Who are you... anyway?" well, that bit of information took a staggering amount of time to pass through her mind.
"I don't really remember... I lost my memory. Though, if you wanna be a good ninja, why don't you find something else?" your eyes fall upon the target for a second as you notice it really is barely undamaged. Although it seems slightly withered by age... She's been training for a while and not getting her aim right, maybe this just isn't her thing?
"Oooh. But throwing weapons feels so ninja-like! Is there anything that mister suggests?" she asks in a childishly naive tone, you nod "Well, I could teach you how to fight in close range. I've lost a lot of memories, but I still now a thing or to about fighting... Take this sword for example." you say, you move your hand to your back and unsheath a short sword, tossing it to in front of her to grab and-
...huh...?
You had no weapons on you earlier...
"Don't worry. This just means that your resonance is going well."
...What the... You notice the blood on your shirt, which was quite obviously there minutes ago, had also disappeared...
"Mister seems a bit confused..." the young girl says and you shake your head "Ah, it's nothing. I was just... thinking." you say as you unsheath another blade from your back, this one was quite a bit longer, a combination between a falchion and a longsword. This unique construction made it easy for use with many combat styles... It was your father's weapon. Custom made for just exactly that, sheer, endless verstiality "Well... If mister wants to train me, it sounds like fun! My name is Tenten!" she says as she smiles.
Tenten, eh?
Tenten reaches for the blade and struggles to pick it up at first, but, after a moment, getting used to the weight, she holds it weakly in front of her and nods at you.
"I can't make you a master in a day, but, I can teach you the basics... Hmm.. I think the best style for you would be..."
Yeah, this will pretty much determine the main part of your own combat style as well. Luckily, Izanami's a badass and can do all of them competently either way.
A: A powerful style, based on overwhelming your opponents
B: A speed-based style, based on destroying the enemies through sheer speed.
C: An evade-and-counter based style, where you wait for your opponents to attack before taking them out quickly.
D: Other

C, nothing says owned like overextending yourself like a jackass and getting gutted for it.
Plus, it is the best thing to teach someone like Tenten, and we get to have all three no matter what we pick.
