I think y'all know what's coming next.
"Yea Deckard, why don't you keep her company?" You urge dully. "She's been lonely ever since she broke it of-"
"Deneb, shut up!"
"Oh?" The idea seemed to chime into Deckard's head.
"Well, you get the idea", you remark, shrugging at them as you stand. "I'll be off then."
"Well good night Deneb." Deckard rises at your leave, while Ann stays seated. "It was nice meeting you again." You could see he wanted to put out his hand but you turned away from him before he could have the chance.
"See you in the morning?" She asks, quipping her lip.
"Eh, sure. Night."
"Good night!" She shouts as you leave the flat.
---
Walking into your flat you immediately lock the doors and cast off your helmet. As you walk into your room and up to the windows, with a single command the wall of shaded windows turn into mirror-like panels casting your reflection. You run your hand across the mechanized parts of your face once more and furrow your brow, feeling just a bit of contempt. It would be so easy to abandon your self given duty and simply live as a human would. Though on the other hand, you felt obliged after what you did to this world. Being partially human made the choice that much tougher, neither option was entirely viable. But at least for the rest of the time you had left you would have to preserve your machine part.
Stripping off the rest of your armor you pull a few beers out of the mini fridge as your body began the conversion to organic matter. It was actually a lie that you hadn't been out of that hunk of metal in whatever amount of years. Sometimes you had to indulge in nights like these, of course you didn't count these guilty pleasures.
Downing a can you sit on your bed. With the windows turning back to their original state from inactivity you peer out at the metropolis below and above you. You could see Joseph's corporation building. If he hadn't gotten curious about it, your little secret would still be locked down in the reactor core of his pet project.
Gently you place the can on the small drawer besides your bed and lay down wondering if Ann was actually interested in Deckard. She always seemed to have bad luck finding "Mister Perfect". As if there were such a thing to find.
---
With the rumble and shock of a natural disaster your room itself shakes you awake. "Tsunami?" You mumble, having rested normally for once in a long time. "News, channel 54" You order the windows. Immediately a small digital panel opens up and turns to the news channel.
"Terror strikes the city as the -" The feed cuts out into blackness immediately, and the windows shut down, reverting to their naturally clear state. Rubbing your eyes to make sure what you were seeing was correct you still couldn't believe it. A fleet of airships were flying over the city, raining down particle beams.
Immediately your eyes shot to Joseph's building, but your mind seemed fixated on Ann, who was just a few floors below.

A) Go to Joseph's facility B) Go to Ann's
