Well, since I'm still keeping a back-up anyway, might as well serve as a medium when I can:
"I'd like to upgrade my flame shroud," you say.
"Consider it done. Moving on to the next one. These are also upgrades to techniques we already know. First, using Raiton Discharge will supercharge all raiton techniques we have now or get later on. We can upgrade your clone to explode on demand. When we release stored katon energy, we can pour all of your shroud and some raiton chakra into the fireball."
"If we have energy left to use raiton discharge, can we pour the energy into the release?" you ask.
"If you want," you say.
"And if we have enough energy for two?"
"Same concept applies."
"Sweet."
"I can upgrade the fallen angel to have a chance to summon a higher class of angel," she says. "Or, I can improve the speed burst's protective force to protect against bigger attacks."
A. Raiton overload B. Remote detonating clone C. Supercharged katon release D. Higher class angels E. Speed burst protective aura

"I want the protective aura when I use speed burst," you say.
"Really?" she asks.
"Yeah."
"Okay then... I'm not here to judge. Let's talk about a new raiton ability. Your fight with Maverickraven isn't too far away now. We can still learn to forbid doton temporarily. I can charge my raiton current through you at a stronger voltage, allowing you to throw a super fast, high voltage punch. I can increase your raiton resistance to absorption, like your fire."
"Can I release raiton and katon at the same time?"
"Yep. Want to hear about another summon?" she asks.
"What summon could be better than the fallen angel?"
"He's not as strong, but he stays out longer," she explains. "Who is it?"
"Thor."
"Superhero Thor?" you ask.
"No, I wouldnt offer you some scrub like that. Badass viking Thor. I can also offer you a ranged lightning attack. You inhale, and release air charged with electricity, in sort of a cone shape in front of you."
A. Taboo: doton B. Absorb: raiton C. High voltage punch D. Summon: Thor, norse god of lightning E. Electric breath

"I want to summon Thor," you say.
"Sounds good. I was going to offer you the katon counterpart to him, as well. You still interested?" she asks.
"Sure," you say.
"You can also summon the Egyptian sun god, Ra. You can also send your flame shroud running at an enemy to catch them on fire. Then you'll have to wait a second for it to renew."
"I see."
"You can create a large wall of fire that advances forward towards your enemy as well," she says. "You can create a will o' the wisp that revolves around you, searing through whatever it touches. You can launch it at an enemy."
"How big is the will o' the wisp?"
"About the size of an apple. Last, you can call down a pillar of fire from the sky, like the first angel you summoned. Not quite as powerful, though."
A. Summon: Ra, the egyptian sun god B. Running flame shroud C. Advancing fire wall D. Create will o' the wisp E. Pillar of fire

"I want to be able to summon Ra," you say.
"You have plans to summon a little squad, like Forte?" she asks.
"That's exactly what I was thinking. Except squad is a stupid word."
"In order to do that more effectively, you'd need another clone. You've passed this up again and again, but I want to help you do whatever it us you decide to do. So, once more, I can double the amount of clones you can summon."
"Thanks, June."
"We can play a song called 'Gravity' that, well, intensifies gravity for a period of time. We can use the soul to increase Deimos' ability to mess with the minds of his opponents. Ed Gein was a nut, and was less prone to fear, but when Deimos got to him, the effect was multiplied. You can take one step closer to that but with normal, everyday people. You can increase the chance that he makes things happen, too. You can also create an electrically charged field around you. It's not decastating, but it hurts your opponent at all times. And that's the last soul, you can hit the sack after this."
"Well, it isn't quite our last upgrade. You saw what happened with Nirvana."
"What will your other tweaked songs do?"
"I don't know. That's half the fun."
A. 2 fire clones B. Gravity C. Improved mind**** D. Improved causality manipulation E. Electric aura(not to be confused with raiton shroud)
"That 'squad' is too badass to pass up. Besides, the clones will be useful in other ways as well."
"Good choice! So, that's it for now. You should probably get some rest." She hugs you again before you find yourself back in your room. You get some much needed rest.
The next morning, you wake up feeling rested. You make some breakfast and eat up before getting a text from an unknown number.
"Yo."
"What's up? Who's this?"
"It's Yushi. I've got a little problem on my hands. There's a huge mob of people on a witch hunt."
"Who are they hunting?"
"Me. There's about 100 of them."
"You? What did you do?"
"I accidentally let one of my 'abilities' slip."
"You can't handle those people?"
"I can, but I don't want to hurt any of them. I've killed enough people in my life time. I know you're fine with it, though."
"Where are you?"
"I'm still in Louisiana. In the swamps near Baton Rouge."
"Are you going to help him?" June asks.
"I'm not sure. I do have a few writers to take care of. I can't just leave him hanging, but Forte, Shadow, or Cactus probably wouldn't mind heading down there. Then again, more souls."
A. Help Yushi B. Someone else can do it. Take out 1. Flame 2. Kieo 3. Neji 4. Pyro and send @. Forte $. Shadow %. Cactus
"I'm gonna go help him. I think Shadow needs to wear down that sword of his, too."
"Whatever you think is best," June says, clearly excited at the thought of more souls. You text Shadow and let him know what's up. You call for Forte.
"What's going on, man?" he asks.
"I need to go back to Louisiana," you say. "Yushi needs some help."
"New Orleans again?"
"Nah, I need to go to the swamps east of Baton Rouge."
"Oh, alright," he says, disappointed. You two step outside and he sends you on your way. You land in a wet, foresty area. You make your way towards the sounds of talking. You jump as an alligator snaps at you.
"Oh damn, that thing is big." You hear someone come up behind you, but barely.
"What's up, shadow?"
"Haha, couldn't sneak up on you this time," he says.
"Heard you coming. Let's get this show on the road." You see a large mob of people with pitchforks and torches. It's like a scene out of Frankenstein. You spot Yushi as one of the mobbers tries to pitchfork him. He breaks it in half with a punch from underneath and retreats towards you.
"Thanks for coming," he says.
"No problem," you say, and you and Shadow get to work without hesitation. Dodging these guys is like child's play now, even when they try to outnumber you. About halfway through, Shadow's katana breaks in half on one of their heads.
"Perfect," he says. "Let's not drag this out any longer." He forms a seal and creates a nasty looking sphere of dark energy, which he hurls at the mob. It just travels through them, sucking all matter it passes through, but leaving the victims otherwise unneffected. He plows through the crowd a few times with this void, leaving them just enough alive for you to suck their souls. You get exactly 100. A voice calls from the swamp.
"Excellent show, Shadow," the voice says.
"Oh god, does this always ****ing happen?" you ask.
"You've been trailing me for a while, Dragon," says Shadow.
"Yes," he says. "I can't have you going and turning in that hilt to the clan. I'm the only one who's going to advance. I figured now would be the best time to strike, since your sword is broken."
"Hello? You see us standing right here, right?" you ask. "How is that a smart time to strike?"
"I request a one on one duel with Shadow," he says. "On his honor, he can't refuse."
"I accept, but I can't control the actions of these two. They are their own men."
"You're a coward," Yushi speaks up. "People like you make me sick." This guy was polite even when UL ambushed him, but now he has a fire in his eyes. Figuratively speaking, of course. "If you don't fight this guy, I will, and I won't hold back."
A. Honor the duel request for some reason. Watch Shadow take on Dragon. B. Since when are you concerned with honor? Stomp this ninja. C. You want to see Yushi get serious. Give him the ok to bust some ass. D. Let them sort it out and go home. You got your souls.
"Shadow, why don't you let Yushi take care of this guy?" you suggest.
"Fine by me."
"I was hoping you'd say that," says Yushi. He pulls out a roll of paper from his pocket and unrolls it. It begins to burn from one end, revealing the hilt of a sword. As it burns, more of the sword is revealed, until the paper is nothing but ash.
"You guys should stand clear," he says. You and Shadow back up a ways. You climb up in a tree and sit on a limb. Dragon draws his sword and gets right to work. He swings like a madman, cutting anything that might come into his path. Yushi just lets him come, holding his still sheathed sword in his left hand. He sidesteps each swing, sometimes tapping the side of Dragon's sword with his fingertips lightly, pushing the swings off course. Dragon remains relentless. You can't see how someone could possible find an opening in such an assault, but suddenly Yushi draws his sword and swings right through. Dragon barely manages to deflect the blow, but it still gashes his side. He backs off for a second.
"You got lucky," he says. "No one can defeat my technique twice." He pulls a short sword from his back and continues his attack. Yushi continues to sidestep, using his sheath or blade to deflect when necessary. Suddenly, Dragon finds Yushi's sheath smashing into his jaw. In the split second he's stunned, Yushi takes over the offensive. He swings with a gentle grace, seemingly taking it easy on Dragon. Still, as methodical as his swings are, you can practically see the force caused by them. The grass sways with each swordstroke. You see Yushi prepare a swing from his upper right side, when his blade seemingly disappears. Dragon's eyes widen as Yushi's blade materializes, spearing at him from Yushi's lower left side. He holds the tip of his blade to Dragon's throat.
"I can see right through your technique. It's impressive for your age, but you're a few hundred years too early for this particular fight. Give up, and I'll leave it up to Shadow to let you live or not."
"Ha, I'm not done yet," says Dragon as he leaps backwards. He uses his sword to cut his thumb, drops it in the grass, and readies a scroll. He slides his bloody thumb across the scroll. You hear a roar as a dragon descends from the sky. It's about the size of an elephant, quadripedal. It begins to speak in some never before heard dialect. Dragon answers back in the same tongue and points to Yushi.
A. Time to step in B. Yushi can handle it

The dragon roars and breathes a stream of flame at Yushi. It rolls off the ground as it rapidly approaches him. He jumps back, precisely where the flames fade away, as if he knew. The dragon rushes towards him and starts trying to maul him. Yushi dodges and counterattacks, but his blade can't penetrate the dragon's thick skin.
"Damn, that guy's serious."
"He's not normally like this. The pressure must have gotten to him. He's the clan leader's son, but he favors me. Jealousy is a dangerous thing."
The dragon continues to try to claw Yushi in half, but can't seem to touch him. Yushi can't touch him, either, and one misstep could spell death. You can't imagine him slipping up, though. His greatest strength seems to be an absurd amount of combat experience. Frustrated, the dragon tries to bite Yushi, but he dodges and clips the dragon's left eye. It roars in pain, and prepares a massive swing out of anger. Big mistake. Too transparent. Yushi jumps up, using claw that was swung at him as a stepping stone to get on its back. He slips his blade into the back of the dragon's neck, in a space between its plated hide. It futiley tries to shake him off before lowering its head in defeat.
"That's enough! You don't have to hurt him anymore! I was just messing around," Dragon says. He pulls out a scroll and shows it to Shadow.
"You son of a *****! You already turned in your hilt? A dangerous joke to play, considering either of these guys could have ended you in a heartbeat," Shadow laughs.
"Just wanted to have a little fun at your expense," he says with a smirk. You drop your face into your palm.
"You stupid mother ****er. You think that was funny? Nobody wastes my time. I'll take your soul for that ****. Was it worth the laugh?" June activates your shroud and you approach him menacingly. His worry is painted on his face.
A. Jk. Payback's a *****. B. Really do it.
You slam June into the ground and sparks fly, and you drag her along while walking towards him, cutting into the ground along the way.
"Look, man, it was just a joke. I'm spent, I can't even defend myself."
"Shoulda thought of that. One last thing before you go. I'm just ****ing with you."
Shadow laughs at him. Yushi approaches and the dragon flies off.
"You're a damned fool," he says. "It would be best if you got out of here."
"Alright, alright, I'm going. Jesus, it was just a joke," Dragon says as he walks off.
"I should follow. I've got a hilt to return. Thanks for the help. I'll be in touch," says Shadow before he walks off.
"Sorry about that," Yushi says. "He got under my skin a little bit."
"Hey, I'm not complaining. You can do whatever the hell you want. I've slaughtered 800 or so people."
"When you triple that, all the blood on your hands starts to put a bad taste in your mouth. In the end, one death on your hands is just as bad. But hey, can't go back now," he says.
"I guess. Your swordsmanship was sick, by the way."
"Thanks. I've had lots of practice. Your guitar isn't completely different. What re you planning to do right now?"
"Well, I was going to take out another writer before I have to go train with ChetleyDew," you say. "Why?"
"I can teach you a thing or two about using a blade, if you'd like. I know several styles. If you don't have a preference, I can just teach what I think is best."
A. Sweet. Teach me a style that says 'blazing inferno'. B. Teach me what you think is best. C. I'm going to fight Flame instead. D. I'm going to take it to Kieo. E. I'm gonna kill Neji. F. Pyro has got to go.

"Teach me a style that says 'blazing inferno'," you request.
"That fits you, I think," says Yushi. He begins teaching you rapid swordtrokes. Once you have that down, he teaches you to tring some together.
"The goal here is to strike quickly and recover quickly, like a fickle flame. Before you say anything, I know, fickle flame isn't exactly a blazing inferno. That's what this next step is for. You must stay on your opponent at all times, utilizing this footwork I'm about to teach you." He shows you to rapidly alter your direction. It's tough, you have to learn to be very agile. "Now, keep sort of low to the ground. Make yourself less of a target. Also by doing this, you'll be able to add even more strength to your blows. I understand that strength and speed are far from your weakpoints."
"You could say that."
"Stand still, I'll demonstrate how to apply this to a combat situation. I won't really attack you." He darts at you, feigning a swordstroke. He quickly recovers and attacks from another angle. Again and again. It reminds you of how giga took on Tips, minus the teleporting. "To get this down, you'll have to practice your footwork. You're good at running quickly in a straight line, but the point of this is to suffocate your opponent, attacking relentlessly. Almost as if they're on fire."
"Thanks for the help," you say.
"Anytime. Practice up. I'll be in touch," he says as he walks off. You text Forte and he sends the ride your way.Back at Forte's, you find you have a little bit to relax before nightfall. You can
A. Upgrade now(1) B. Wait until after training
You decide to hold off on upgrades in case you learn something from Chetley worth improving on. You take a litte nap to pass the time. A couple of hours later, when it's dark, you head over to the little spot in the woods. You see Chetley meditating in the usual spot.
"Welcome back," he says.
"Thanks," you reply.
"There's a couple things we need to work on tonight. One of those is your footwork," he says.
"Great, I just learned a fighting style that has a heavy focus on footwork," you say.
"Oh? Who taught you?"
"Yushinoki," you say.
"Ah, the invincible under the sun. You should feel honored." Damn, Chetley seems to know everything. "You've done well in your training so far, but this is a little different. You've learned to enhance your muscles' regular functions with chakra. This time, you'll have to train your body as well. It'll take longer. Luckily, we've already amped your endurance, so you can work longer without tiring out. Let's get right to work." He shows you a lot of different plyometric excercises and has you do them for hours on end. You use the pain ignoring technique on instinct, and it goes without a hitch. You improve vastly. Now you're not just fast, but quick too.
"Very good. Now you can use the same chakra reinforcing technique to amplify that skill as well. I'm sure by now I don't have to guide you through it."
"Yeah, I pretty much have that down."
"Keep in mind that your abilities can always be increased with practice. Don't let yourself get rusty. Someone like Maverickraven has had a long, long time to practice. However, I feel you're getting close. I might take out a few weaker souls first, if I were you."
"Good plan."
"Now, this next part of training is optional. How does a little spar sound to you? Full out, to measure your overall strength, hand to hand only, to further increase your chakra control and physical attributes, or head home and do what you have to do."
A. Full out fight. B. Hand to hand sparring exercise. C. I'll pass.
"I'd like to fight hand-to-hand," you say, propping June against a tree.
"Very well. Let's begin... now," he says as he throws a surprise punch. You instinctively guard with your arms, forming the protective layer of chakra as he taught you. You hear a little bit of a booming noise as it makes contact. Wasn't too painful. You stay in close, the way you like to fight. You throw punches as you bob and weave to avoid his. You both land a few good hits, but don't seem to be making much progress.
"You'll have to step it up a little, or we won't be going anywhere. Don't worry, I can handle it." He starts throwing his punches faster and harder, prompting you to do the same. You keep up the dogfight for what seems like hours, exchanging a fairly equal amount of blows. Suddenly, he raises his leg in a powerful kick. You utilize you footwork and dash around him, and land a good blow to his kidney area. Instead of doubling over in pain, he spins around with a roundhouse kick. You duck underneath, thanks to the low center of gravity Yushi taught you to keep. As the leg passes over your head, you actually hear it cut into the wind. Just as you try to retaliate, he uses his momentum to bring in his other leg in a spinning kick. You see it coming, and grab his leg, minimalizing the damage with chakra protection. You spin him around and attempt to slam him into the ground. He catches himself with both arms and spins out of your grip. You bring down a crashing fist, but he rolls away just in time.
"Good job utilizing your footwork to find an opening. But once isn't enough. Show me this 'blazing inferno'."
"Alright," you say, already rapidly closing in on him. He nearly smashes your leg into your jaw, but you adjust yourself and pass right under his leg, coming up with an uppercut. He turns to block it, finding only a light tap as you speed behind him again. You keep this up, altering the direction you dart to. He's getting used to your feints, and starts attacking instead of blocking. Your style is to stay relentless as a defense, and keep attacking and dodging. You juke to the left, but start to throw a huge, dramatic right hook. You look to the right as you do so, and tense every muscle in your body as if you're gonna go there. He shifts his stance in case you try it. Just what you were after. You put all your eggs in this one basket and let it ride. From your low center of gravity, you focus the chakra in your legs and come up on the balls of your feet, you focus the chakra in your torso and put it behind the punch, and you send the remaining chakra in your skin into your arm, abandoning defenses. He tries to block with both arms, but it's too late. You hear a snap as you slam your fist into his arm, and he slides backwards, digging into the earth to stop his momentum. He grabs his injured arm with his left hand, and bows.
"Very well done, my friend," he says.
"Did I nail it?"
"Yes, the most important part of the blazing inferno. Your relentless approach and fickle nature represents the flame, and then all at once, you fan it. And Jesus, when you fan it, you do it well. This is why my training was such a necessity for someone as powerful as you. Keep practicing, though, like I said."
"So, what now?"
"That's about it. I shall be returning to my travels. I'll be back when I'm needed most," he says mysteriously before sinking into the earth.
"Wait up! I can heal your arm," you say. Too late. Oh well. You pick up June and head home. You take her to the back room and meditate.
You can't see ****. You just hear the waves crash as you try your damnedest to see two feet in front of you through this thick fog.
"June?" you call.
"Over here!" she replies. You finally make your way over, feeling through the fog. Finally your hands feel something. To make sure of what it is, you feel around a bit more, but one of your fingers slips in and gets wet.
"Any reason you're digging around in my mouth?" she asks, as if she had a finger in her mouth.
"Whoops, sorry. Let's get to work," you say. The two of you chain the bodies to the chairs and offer them up to the reaper. It takes so long, because you can't see a damn thing in the fog. Finally you finish up, and June takes you by the hand and guides you to the chairs you normally sit in. The dead bodies are getting dangerously close, you imagine.
"So, we passed the 800 mark! I think we have about 814 souls," she says happily.
"Of course. I told you I'd get you out of here. Did you think I was lying?"
"Not at all, I just didn't think it would be so quick. It wasn't too long ago that I thought I'd be in here forever. I don't even want to think about it. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart."
"Don't mention it. So, I get anything new?"
"Of course. First of all, we can upgrade your song that wakes the dead. Since you can tweak your songs to perfection, it may be better already, but either way, this will upgrade it further. This upgrade allows the dead to emerge completely and fight for you."
"An army of the dead, huh? This might make gathering the next couple hundred or so souls ****ing hilarious."
"I offer you again the ability to call out a stronger order of Fallen Angel. You know that they're powerful, and have helped you out of a tough situation quite a few times," she offers.
"You're not worried about any competition?" you joke.
"Not really. As far as I know, the higher order of Fallen Angels were mostly males."
"Oh, how convenient for you. I can tweak that song too. You think if I take this upgrade, I could skip a tier?"
"Probably. I can add another fire clone when I create yours, making 3. Also, upgrade their explosion from 'big' to 'huge'. And, the chakra will return to you to absorb. I can give Thor and Ra a surprise advantage, by allowing them to tap in with an attack."
"In other words, a fancy appearance," you comment.
"Last but not least, I can discharge massive amounts of chakra in different ways. Instead of just lightning bolts, I can change it to amplify any raiton attack we can use, whether we know it now or learn it later."
"Damn it, that would have been good with electric breath."
A. Army of the Dead(alternately, Disposable Heroes) B. Higher Tier Fallen Angel C. Moar clones, moar powerful clones(3) D. Thor and Ra: destructive jutsu upon entrance E. Raiton discharge flexibility(same daily limit[2])
"I want better angels," you say.
"A good choice," says June.
"Thanks," says you.
"So... what are your plans for tomorrow?" she asks.
"Well, I plan on either finding a way to slaughter a bunch of people for you, killing some writers for me, and maybe sparring with Forte for real this time to see if I might be able to hang with Maverickraven."
"If it counts for anything, I believe you can do it easily," she says.
"Thanks, but better safe than sorry, right? If I eat it, you're stuck in here."
"Good point... talk to you tomorrow morning," she says. You come back to reality and shower up before hitting the sack. You have an odd dream that night. You're walking along, acting all cool, slaughtering a bunch of people. You get enough souls to free June. She's so happy that it makes you happy. Then Tips comes from nowhere and cuts off her head. You wake up with a start.
"A bad dream?" asks Deimos from the foot of your bed.
"Yeah..." you say. "Hopefully that wasn't a bad omen or something."
"I would know if it was," he says. Relieved, you go back to sleep. The next morning, you make the usual breakfast and eat it. Forte's not up yet. You consider waking him up to spar. Just then, you hear someone walk out of his room. The footsteps sound different. Likely a woman's.
"Eeep! That's a big dog! Does it bite?" she asks.
"Yup. Better get out of here. No offense, but he hates strangers," you reply without looking up from your plate. She leaves without getting any big ideas of sticking around. You're a good friend, you think. Now, what to do?
A. I can take Maverickraven now. Let's do this ****. B. I'm gonna take it to flame instead. C. Kieo has got to go. D. Pyro is a goner. E. Neji is done, son. F. Wake up Forte for a spar.
You decide to take out Flame. He's the strongest one left, besides Mav, but you were able to kill U Metal, and you were considerably weaker then. That, and you have fire absorption. The only thing you have to be careful of now is his possible Enton. Time to go **** with him on gamefaqs.
"Hey, Flame," you say.
"What?" he asks.
"**** your CYOA dude." you say.
"No, **** you. You asking for an asswhoopin'?" he asks.
"In fact, I am. Where to meet?" He emails you some coordinates. You don't know coordinates so you punch them in at google. Mojave desert. God damn. You go knock on Forte's door.
"Yo," he calls.
"I need a ride again," you say.
"Alright, man. Give me a second. Killer headache." You go wait outside until he comes out, squinting in the morning light. You give him the coordinates and he sends you on your way. What a convenient tornado. You find yourself in the Mojave, surrounded by cacti and nasty looking shrubbery. Flame is nowhere to be seen.
"Huh, where is this guy?" you ask.
"I don't know. I wouldn't blame him if he was scared. I feel sorry for the guy who has to mess with you," she says.
"You're too sweet," you say. You sit, and you wait, and wait, and wait. Suddenly, there's a small explosion about 20 yards away, and as the smoke dissipates, you see a young man. He's got this perceptive look in his eye. You can't hate someone like that.
"Yo," he says. "Sorry I'm late. You bring any suntan lotion?"
"Cuz I'm about to get burned... yeah yeah," you say. "Show me what you got." He starts hurling fireballs in your direction. He has the timing all planned out, so if you dodge one, you have to dodge another, and another. You can see it working, but you don't move a muscle. Still seated, you have June activate your flame shroud. The fireballs that fly your way are just eaten up by it and your absorption. He forms a seal and inhales deeply, releasing a huge fireball, like giga launched at Tips.
"Yeah... I don't think you'll be absorbing that one," June says. You decide to just plow through with your improved speed burst. You tweaked it, and it caused a massive boost in speed, but didn't alter the distance any.
"How are you not even hurt?" he asks.
"Well, fire is kinda my *****," you say. "You just drew the short straw in this game of rock-paper-scissors."
"Fire is your *****? Fire is an uncontrollable force. I'll show a flame that will burn you to a crisp!" He forms a few seals and spits out a huge ball of black flame. It heads towards you fairly quickly. Time to play a riff, for sure.
A. Toy with him a bit. Just speed burst and dodge it, and engage him in taijutsu. B. Speed burst, but be serious with it. C. Use raiton discharge on the black flame. D. Summon your new and improved angel on him. E. Have June make clones as you dodge, have them prepare to summon Thor and Ra.
"June, I'm gonna need some clones," you say as you haul ass to dodge the menacing black flames. She creates two of them, and they start slapping away, summoning Ra and Thor. You curse as the ball of fire starts to follow you. You use what Chetley taught you to outpace it, and it keeps a good distance, but tails you relentlessly. Flame starts to string seals and chant. You make a mad dash for him, but the flame takes an angle and cuts you off, forming a wall.
"Well god damn it," you say as you try to find a way around. No luck. He finishes his jutsu and spits outmore black fire. This one takes the form of a human, but is made entirely from fire. An enton clone. It sucks in the wall of flames and grows larger. It runs at you, and you dash by it, swinging June at him as you go, but she just passes through him. He keeps after you, trying to land a blow. Suddenly a large hammer charged with electricity slams into him. It passes through, but the raiton chakra seems to phase the creature. A hulking, long bearded man makes his way by your side and squares off against the creature. You glance at Flame, and he is busy attempting to fend off a tall, tan man with the head of a falcon, wielding a staff. You stick by Thor, deciding that the empowered enton clone is the bigger threat. Thor forms a seal and begins to radiate with an electric aura. The ground around the enton clone breaks apart, electricity jolting around from the ground, paralyzing it. Thor forms a few more seals, inhales, and blows a firece wind, supercharged with electricity. You could have had this move, you think. The enton clone covers his face with his arms as the electricity eats at him, but he perseveres. The sky darkens as Thor forms another seal. The enton is free from his raiton prison and rushes Thor, but a lightning bolt strikes him from the heavens. Then another. Then another. Then another. He's like that live action roleplay guy, but with real lightning bolts. The enton clone perseveres. Thor reaches for his hammer and it flies into his hand. He holds it in the air and lightning strikes it, causing it to glow. The enton clone gets into combat range, and Thor slams his hammer down, smashing through the clone and shattering the ground underneath. The clone explodes violently, burning everything near with black flame. Electricity emerges from the ground around Thor in a semicircle, protecting you and himself from the fire. You turn your attention again to Flame. Ra just stands there, holding his staff behind his neck, hanging an arm from each end. The ground beneath flame glows with a large rune that looks like an eye, with two long lashes underneath. Flame dodges as flames emerge from the earth in a guyser. Flame lands on the ground, only to find that it too glows with an eye. You all watch as he dances around, avoiding the flames.
"Alright, you win! Let's call it quits, I won't write my CYOA anymore. I wasn't looking for a fight to the death. Deal?"
A. Nah, finish him and take his soul. B. Ok, let him go. C. Let June decide. D. Let Deimos decide. E. Let Ra decide. F. Let Thor decide. G. Ask everyone.
"Let's see how everyone feels about this," you say. "Ra?"
"I think you should spare this human. Everyone deserves a second chance," he says. His voice is gentle and has a certain warmth to it.
"Deimos?"
"His soul will only make you stronger. I suggest you take it," he advises. "Thor?" you say, but you pretty much know what he's going to say.
"He was a brave warrior. Let him live so that he can become stronger," he says, in a gruff but wise sounding voice.
"Wow, not what I expected. Guess it's on you, June."
"Hmm, one soul is one soul. He's not extremely powerful, so it wouldn't make that big of a difference to us. Let him go," she says.
"Alright, Flame. It's decided. You're free to go."
"Damn, I never expected to be the guy hoping for mercy like this," he sighs. "You're a pretty strong guy."
"Thanks," you say. A few months ago you would have told him how easy you were going, but you don't think the pride is worth it.
"It's rare that someone beats me like this. I want to give you something as a reward. From what I can tell, you lack any long-range type attacks. Unless you were hiding them."
"Yeah, I'm more of a close range fighter," you say.
"Yeah, but it's good to have a little variety. There's always the chance that someone has a few ways to keep away from you. Here, I'll just write it down, and you can make the choice to use it later." He pulls out a little address book and starts writing stuff down.
"What is it?" you ask.
"Oh, nothing special. Enton spear," he says. "Really though, it's no joke. Not something you can toss around willy nilly. You can probably throw two a day, at the most."
"Can I even use enton?"
"Yeah, it's not a bloodline or anything. It might take a while to get it down, though. Here." He hands you the notepad. "Alright, peace out." He dissapears in a small explosion.
"Later."
"I'll be around if you need my assistance," says Ra as he burns away from the feet on up.
"It was an honor fighting beside a warrior like yourself," says Thor before ascending to the heavens in a bolt of lightning. You text Forte and your ride comes shortly. Now you're back at Forte's. What to do?
A. Investigate any leads for a massacre. B. Go study the notebook and learn the enton spear. C. Spar Forte to see where you're at. D. Take out a writer(Pyro, Neji, Mav, or Kieo)
You sit outside and pull out Flame's notebook. The first page reads, "Haha, physche, mother ****er! You can't learn enton!"
"Son of a-" you trail off as you read the bottom of the page.
"Jk, turn the page." You do so. His handwriting is small and chickenscratch like, but you can make it out if you squint a little. It teaches you the seals. Conveniently enough, they're one-handed, and the jutsu itself isn't all that long. You practice for hours until black flames extend from your hand in the form of a spear. The flames rise off the upper edge.
"That thing looks badass," June says.
"It does... you think we could incorporate this into other techniques?"
"We could, we just need some souls. We can't spare everyone if you want to get stronger."
"Hey, it was your choice, remember?"
"Yeah, I know... it's almost dark out now. If you have plans, we should get to them before it gets too late."
"Yeah, I know. I intend to
A. Look for some slaughter." B. Take out a writer(Pyro, Mav, Kieo, Neji)." C. Spar Forte." D. Meditate in the woods." E. Take a nap."

"I'm gonna see if there's anything going on slaughter-wise," you say. You text Cactus, he's got nothing. Yushi doesn't either. You try Shadow, no response. You go inside and make yourself a sandwich and eat it before you get a text. It's Shadow.
"Sorry I didn't respond earlier. Civil war for control of the clan," he texts.
"Need a hand?"
"Would be wonderful. Join us in the Himalayas."
You have Forte give you a lift and you arrive in the snowy mountains. You can hear the sound of fire and metal clashing nearby. You go to the noise to find a small village, hidden in the mountains. There are battles everywhere. You spot Shadow behind one of the buildings, tending to some wounds.
"Hey, so how do I know who to kill?" you ask.
"Well, our side wears black. The other side wears white," he says.
"How terribly convenient. I got your backs." You run out, dodging shurikens and kunai and those fancy sickles with chains as you go. June activates your shroud and you plow through ninja after ninja on your way. Unlike the other mobs, these guys can put up a fight if they catch you off your guard. A huge flurry of shuriken flies your way, and before you can even think to dodge, a large dragon descends from the sky in front of you. All the steel weapons bounce off.
"Oh, look who it is," says Dragon from the dragon's back. "Follow my lead." You do so, picking off the ninjas that survive the dragon's rage. You get exactly 100 souls before all the white ninjas in the village drop their weapons, and everyone turns their gaze to a fierce looking man, clad in fancy samurai armor. He holds the head of another man by the hair, lifting it for all to see. The black ninjas come out and tie up the white ones and escort them elsewhere.
"That's my dad," says Dragon. "I suggest you get out of here. He's long winded, and will definitely want to praise you for your help here. I know you're not the patient type."
"You're right," you say. You make your way back into a wooded area in the mountains. You think to text Forte, but there's almost a 100 percent chance that someone's gonna make an appearance.
"You had to ruin the fun, huh?" a voice says.
"I ****ing knew it," you say. You turn to see a guy with a leather trenchcoat and a headband hangind upside down from a tree.
"I wanted to see those guys tear each other apart. If you hadn't thinned out the numbers so bad, they wouldn't have quit just now," he says.
"So, you have a problem with me?"
"Maybe..."
A. Ask who it is. B. Attack. C. Flip him off and keep walking.

A CYOA
Feb 5, 2011 3:21:41 GMT
Post by Yushinoki on Feb 5, 2011 3:21:41 GMT
You've had a long day. **** this. You rush in with your guitar ready to smash a skull. The man nimbly flips over to the top of the branch he was hanging from and jumps to another tree.
"Whoa, whoa, easy, fella. I never said I wanted a fight," he says.
"Then what do you want?"
"Well, I'd like I fight," he says. "Now you know, so it would be socially acceptable to attack me now, you jackass."
"...June."
"Yeah?"
"Don't activate the raiton current. I want to break this guy slowly." You activate your speed burst and are on him in an instant. His eyes widen as he tries to block your punch, and he does, but it's not good enough. He slams into the trunk of the tree with a force, and scrambles to jump off as you swing June at his face.
"Damn, you're a lunatic!" he says, holding his now injured arm. He shakes it off, though, and pulls out a pocket knife. He flips it around a few times as if to intimidate you. Not gonna happen. "So what's your name, there? You look like one of the damn Spartans in 300."
"It's-"
"On second thought, it's not important. But I'm Jay. Friends call me "Bad" Jay. You're not my friend though, so don't call me that," he says as he forms a seal. His knife begins to drip with water, as if it were wet. He throws it at you, and you deflect with June, but the knife splashes as she passes through it. It reforms, not changing its course, and sails for your head. You jump off the branch on ground level with him.
"Ha, most people fall for that. You've got some good reflexes," he says.
A. **** this dude. Summon your fallen angel and end it. B. His quips are hilarious. Drag the fight out, using taijutsu and a little guitar action. C. You can throw things, too. Try out the Enton spear. D. Apologize for attacking and see if he wants to start over.
You form your seals and a spear of black flame emerges from your hand.
"Whoa, you're not really gonna throw that thing, eh?" he says.
"Yup." He starts running sideways to try to throw off your aim. You feign once, and he stops. Bingo. You throw it at him and nail him in the shoulder, lopping off his arm. The flame quickly spread from his wound onward. He stops, drops, and rolls, but there's no use.
"Ok, I give!" he yells. "This **** is hot!"
"Yeah, about that... I actually don't know how to stop it. Whoops!" You figure you could have used a less game ending move if you wanted to spare him. Oh well. He asked for it(literally). You can put him out of his misery at the very least, and you suck up his soul. The black forest fire spreads as you call up Forte, telling him you need your ride. The tornado scoops you up and drops you off in the back yard. You head inside, shower off, and go to your to talk to June about upgrades.
It's night time at the beach. The moon shines in a crescent shape, and the waves crash gently on the shore. There's a cool breeze blowing through. This would be a cool place to hang out if it wasn't for 900-odd dead bodies sitting in creepy thrones made out of sand, and a grim reaper statue. Upon further inspection, you're not so sure he's a statue anymore. There's not a speck of sand left on him. Still, he grins at you lifelessly. As you eye the "statue", June jumps up and wraps herself around you.
"Good mood?"
"Less than 100 left!" she practically yells in your face. She releases you and you get to work on the bodies. You remember when there was nothing but empty chairs. Now there are bodies as far as the eye can see. You drag the chains to the reaper and he cuts the chains after sucking the souls. You and June make your way alll the way to the end where there are a few empty chairs.
"Ok, we have 100 souls, and 1 good soul to use. So that's 2 upgrades," she says.
"Yeah, I more or less get the deal by now," you say.
"Sorry... why so grouchy?" she asks.
"I'm not. It slipped."
"Ok, no problem! So, here are your choices. First, I'd like to remind you of hell's gate. Forgot about that one, huh?"
"Yeah, I did actually."
"We can upgrade the wake the dead technique," she says. "I can amp up your katon resistance to include enton, which will allow you to absorb it. Since you're about the only person around besides that guy who can use it, you'll have to create that spear and then absorb it. Then you can use it to improve your flame shroud to an enton shroud."
"That sounds kind of badass," you comment.
"A guitar-wielding warrior bathed in black flames? Yes, please. We can also improve your fire clones to become enton clones. They won't be as persistent as Flame's, but they will explode in black flame when destroyed. And last, we can upgrade your raiton resistance to absorption.
A. Gates of Hell B. Army of the Dead C. Enton absorption(enton shroud) D. Enton Clones E. Raiton absorption
"I want to be able to absorb enton," you say.
"Oh, good, because I already had something planned for that," she says. "We can upgrade your shroud to enton now, and you can survive it being all around you thanks to the absorption. It feeds the absorption as well, and you can release a black fireball."
"That sounds ****ing awesome," you say.
"Of course, enton isn't actually "hotter than the sun" and it isn't unquenchable, but its way better than typical katons of any variety. I'd like to offer again the ability to use our raiton discharge to supercharge other raiton attacks instead of manifesting it in the form of lightning bolts. I can increase the daily limit on the discharge, fallen angels, or enton spears, as well."
"Hmm... what sounds best?" you ponder.
A. Enton shroud B. Raiton discharge variety C. Three raiton discharges a day D. Three Fallen angels a day E. Three Enton spears a day
You look at her with a pseudo-smirk. She smiles back, and you both laugh a little.
"Like I even had to ask, right? Enton shroud it is!"
"You know me well, June," you say.
"Not well enough," she says with a wink. You reappear in reality. You're starving your ass off, so you get a midnight snack before hitting the sack. You wake up with the feeling that you had a dream, but can't quite remember what it was. Weird, because you never dream. At least you never even think to try to remember them. This one nags at you a while before you forget about it. You head into the kitchen to see that Forte is already up in the living room.
"Eggs and bacon on the counter," he calls from his recliner. You make a large plate and scarf it down, all the while pondering your next move. Maybe today is the day? You're 900 souls in, and you know that Maverickraven utilizes golems. Do they have souls? Could kill two birds with one stone that way.
"So, what's the plan?" asks June.
"I'm not sure yet... it may be safer to take out the smaller writers first, but if we can take on Maverickraven, today just might be the day you get to go free," you say.
"I'm so excited, but I don't want you to get yourself hurt in the process... make sure you're careful."
"You feel like you're ready to take on Maverickraven, huh?" Forte calls. "Maybe you're right. I can tell you for sure if you even have a chance if you show me how you fight all-out."
"That may be dangerous, Forte," you say.
"Maybe. if **** gets too real, we can always just heal up," he advises. "But you do what you gotta do. I know you like to go in guns blazing. And If June is confident in your ability, then I am too. She knows you better than anyone by now."
"You can do it for sure," she says. "But be careful. I can't stress that enough."
"Got it. Right now, I'm going to
A. Take on Maverickraven" B. Fight Kieo" C. Fight Pyro" D. Fight Neji" E. Spar Forte"
"It's time. I'm gonna take on Maverickraven."
"Alright, man. Good luck."
"Thanks, to Florida." Forte walks with you outside and sends you on your way. You appear in a neighrborhood. You look around and see a house with two large clay sculptures. You feel in your gut that this must be it.
"Alright, June. Here it goes," you say.
"We can do this. I don't doubt you for a second." She activates the enton shroud and you play your speed buff in preperation. You take a deep breath and make your way down the driveway to the front door. You knock, no response.
"Who goes there?" says a voice behind you. You turn to see one of the sculptures, well over 6 feet tall, staring you down. Instead of answer, you rush him, bringing June down into his head. She cleaves right through, and he falls in half, each section burning with black flame. The other golem is upon you with a huge left hook. You dash under it and punch him full force in the back of the head, knocking it clean off before running him through with June.
"What's the verdict?"
"Two souls," she confirms.
"Fantastic." A large man makes his way out the front door. He wears sweatpants and no shirt. He has hair as white as snow, thin, but not balding. He has a long beard, down to his sternum. This man was ripped as all ****. He stares you down through barely open eyes.
"What the hell are you doing, child?" he asks with a booming voice that demands respect.
"I'm here to take you down, old man," you say.
"You must be that CYOA killer. Hmph. I doubt I'll have to raise a finger against a pup like you." He forms a single handed seal down by his waist. The ground rumbles as an army of those clay golems rise from the ground. Their eyes glow with life as they stare you down.
A. Summon your fallen angel to aid you. He knows you need the souls, and you'll have another in reserves. B. Create two clones to help take on the army. C. Try to raiton discharge Mav directly. D. Try to spear mav with the enton spear. E. Play wake the dead, seeing how tweaking the song effects it.
You play a riff, tweaking it to perfection, and the ground a little ways in front of you splits open just long enough for a black mass of feathers to rise up. You can't make out a figure at all, just feathers. The golems ignore the angel and try to pass him by to get to you. The angel suddenly unfurls his three sets of massive black wings. The force is ridiculous. Golems fly left and right, Mav doesn't budge but covers his face with his hand and looks away as the wind blows by everything around him. The earth around the angel is kicked up, and Mav's house is sent sailing in pieces. The devastating wind goes almost full circle around the angel, leaving a little wedge behind him untouched, where you stand. The souls of all the golems that were destroyed immediately fly into the air, circle around a little, and fly to June like it's where they were meant to go. The angel turns to you and smiles roguishly.
"What a beautiful song!" he says.
"Thanks," you say. This angel is a charming looking guy. He has medium length, messy black hair. He gives off an aura that says "love, not war". You see Mav just standing there, looking at what's left of his house. You can feel him getting angry.
"What's your name, human?" the angel asks.
"It's-"
"I'm kidding, I know your name. I've been listening to your songs for a little while now."
"Yours?"
"I am Asmodeus. Perhaps you've heard of me?" The name does ring a bell, but you're not from sure where. "Anyway, I suppose I should get to work." Before he can turn around, Mav is preparing a seal. A dome of earth forms around Asmodeus, making a sort of prison. Then, huge spikes jut up from the ground, piercing the dome like a pincushion. He's not done yet. Mav forms another seal, and four huge pillars of earth rise to the sky from the ground near his feet. They're earth dragons, like Cactus' but each one is about two time bigger. They rise to the sky, arch back down, and all slam into the dome. The earth quakes as dust and dirt scatter everywhere. As the dust fades, you see nothing but a big pile of rubble. Mav walks up to it and takes a deep breath, exhaling as he throws a jab into the rubble. Chunks of earth are sent flying everywhere. It's not looking good for your ally, you think. After the chaos settles, you see Asmodeus standing tall, holding Mav's fist in his left hand.
"My my, ancient one," he teases. "You'd think a human would learn more patience after spending this much time on God's Earth. Interesting creatures."
"I will allow no one, man or demon, to destroy the life I have formed with my own two hands," says Mav, seemingly undaunted. Asmodeus throws a right, which Mav catches. Asmoedues rotates his right arm out of Mav's grip and grabs his other arm, lifting him up and slamming him into the ground. He picks him up and slams him again and again before tossing him like a rag doll. He hits the ground a few times before recovering and landing on his feet. He dusts himself off and smiles. "Is that it, demon?"
Asmodeus smiles back charmingly, and his right arm starts to turn black. Actually black, mind you. He reaches into the ground as Mav performs several lightning speed hand seals. Several extremely long black needles shoot from the ground at Mav's feet, aiming to pierce him. Just as they touch his skin, he is replaced by a Maverickraven-shaped piece of wood. The needles pierce it, intertwine, and tear it apart from the inside out before retracting into the earth. Mav emerges from a tree, leaving behind a gap shaped just like him. He forms a few seals, and two massive golems rise. They're about 10 feet tall. Lightning strikes them and charges them, toughening their skin. They look to be made from crystal. They are equipped with a long cleaver-like blade, and a shield a piece. He forms another seal, and a small support army of clay golems is created.
"Hmph. I'm almost warmed up now. Almost." Mav says as he cracks his neck.
"Oh my, were you going easy on me?" says Asmodeus. "How will I ever stand up to you now?" He turns to you and puts a hand near his mouth, as if telling a secret. "Would you be okay with me turning it up a little? I have a tough time going from child's play to Armageddon, if you catch my drift."
"Armageddon?" you ask. Sounds like ****s gonna get real.
"Well, I'm not quite that powerful, but.." he brings his hands together and then spreads them apart, signifying an explosion. "There goes the neighborhood. Choice is on you. I realize that killing innocents isn't exactly your thing."
A. Yes. Go all out. Make things die. B. No, we're not harming innocents. Let's fight together, you keep it light. 1. Focus on Mav 2. Focus on bringing down the Crystal Warbringers 3. Focus on taking out the small clay golem army. C. Nah, you're good as you are. I'll just watch.
"I don't care. This guy's too much of a threat to take it easy on," you say.
"Alright, then," he says. The sky darkens, until it's almost pitch black. Large bolts of lightning start striking around the nearby area rapidly, illumining the sky around them. It begins to rain a thick, red, liquid. Almost definitely blood. Luckily, it evaporates on your enton shroud before landing on you. The light behind the dark clouds shines red, giving them an eerie outline. Asmodeus easily dispatches the mud golems with a swipe from his three right wings. The crystal golems hold their ground, though, as does Mav. He starts forming seals as the warbringers rush the fallen angel. He forms a sphere of black energy in his right palm, red electricity arcing around it, and blows into it. It flies at the golems in the form of a powdery substance, and when it's done, they are riddled with holes. One of them even falls in half at the waist. The persistent bastards regenerate rapidly before your eyes, though. The one that was cut in half grows a lower half from his upper body, and an upper hald from his lower body, making a total of 3 warbringers. The sky around you continues to change, the lightning bolts are red, and massive balls of flame rain from the sky, lightning the city around you on fire. One of the smaller ones lands on a warbringer, but he continues his attack on Asmodeus as if nothing happened. Another is struck by lightning, but he keeps chugging along.
"They must be immune to katon and raiton," says June.
"Must be... and they regenerate. Tough bastards."
Asmodeus is much faster than the golems, and easily overpowers them, but they just don't give up. Mav continues the seals in the background. You think you can hear a chant, but the ruckus around you is too overpowering to tell. You begin to make your way to stop him, but Asmodeus stops you.
"It'd be best to stay right where you are. I made that a safe zone. Move from there, and no promises," he warns.
You hear a crash and look around you, as you see those pillars of dark light descend from the sky and move throughout the town, obliterating everything they come across. Mav finishes his seals, and the already story tall warbringers triple in height and mass. Asmodeus stands there with a smile as the golem rears back it's massive right arm, preparing for the heaviest punch in all of history. Just then, all of those pillars of light converge in one spot, right on top of the warbringer. They combine and begin to grow. Asmodeus uses his wings to force himself backwards, standing side by side with you as the lights expands. You see Mav dive into the ground jsut as the light reaches him. The pillar begins to change, glowing with a white light instead of black, and the light around you fades completely. The sound is deafening, overpowering your senses. For a moment, it's just you and a pillar of light, like nothing else exists in the world. Then the light fades away. The clouds dissipate, leaving the sky beautiful and blue. The colossal warbringer is no more. Many of the souls of the departed make their way through the sky and into June.
"....hey..." she says, in a voice that indicates the stifling of excitement.
"Yeah?" you ask.
"One more..."
"Hm, that ancient human is still around here, somewhere. Let me root him out for you," says Asmodeus as he reaches into the ground again, with both hands. You see a trail of black needles emerge from the ground, going throughout the yard in search for Mav. Suddenly, while Asmodeus is preoccupied, Mav emerges from the ground in front of you, readying a massive blow. You can feel the chakra in his arm, and it's no joke.
A. Block the blow with June, hoping to guarantee he gets caught on fire. B. Speed burst and plow right through him. C. Dash around him and attack relentlessly. D. Fall back and prepare an Enton spear. E. Fall back and use raiton discharge on him.
You quickly activate your speed burst and tackle him, carrying him a good distance in a matter of seconds before slamming him into the same tree that he used matter substitution with. He goes sailing through it and rolls before hopping up again. His skin looks burnt pretty badly, and he smothers what little black flames left on him with his bare hands. You have to appreciate the badassery.
"Alright, human, it's time for me to go... I haven't been laid in like... 20 minutes," says Asmodeus as he descends into the earth.
"Hmph! Looks like it's just you and me now, child," says Mav.
"Kind of..." you say, looking at June and then Deimos. Mav walks towards you and suddenly throws a powerful right. You duck it and come up with an uppercut. He waxes off and throws a left. You dash under it and swing June at his legs. He jumps over it and brings both legs into you. You block with June and focus your chakra into your chest. You feel the force but he just jumps off of you, gaining some distance. You've got time for a technique.
A. Summon your clones, have them 1. engage him in taijutsu 2. summon Thor and Ra B. Wake the dead C. Enton spear D. Raiton discharge
You have June create two fire clones and they get to work on summoning Thor and Ra. You run in on Mav, making sure he doesn't bother with the clones. You swing fast and hard with both hands, not letting up. He arrogantly dodges with as much efficiency as possible. You take advantage of this, and feign swinging June with both hands again, but actually use only your left, and follow through with a right hook. You catch him square in the jaw. It rocks him, but he stands his ground. You fall back to your clones as Ra and Thor appear to take on Mav. Thor runs in with his hammer and swings hard. Mav grabs his arm, stopping the swing on the spot. Thor looks at him in surprise as a high pressure jet of flame shoots over his shoulder, courtesy of Ra. Mav ducks it and punches Thor full force in the chest, sending him backwards a few feet. Ra begins making seals and Thor jumps up to his feet. He begins casting his lightningbolt storm, but Mav dodges every last one. Just as he closes in on Thor, Nine fire dragon bullets fly towards him. He just stomps the ground, and an earth wall rises, blocking the katons. Mav forms a seal and inhales. He blows a large gust of wind, and chunks of earth and rock fly out with it, pelting Thor. They mess up his face pretty bad, temporarily blinding him, and Mav takes advantage, finishing him off with a flurry of super-hard punches. Ra begins to form more seals, but before he can finish, Mav forms a single one and two chunks of earth on either side of Ra come up, smashing him. He disappears in a ball of flame.
"That all you got, boy?" Mav says. He can try to hide it all he wants, you can tell he's exhausted and on his last legs.
A. Send your clones in to engage him, while you try to spear him with enton spear. B. Send your clones in, but raiton discharge all of them, causing electric damage as well as exploding the clones near Mav. C. Explode your clones right next to you by hitting them, allowing you to absorb their katon and intensify the enton spear you're about to throw. D. Go in with the clones and engage him. E. Summon another angel
You smash your clones with June and absorb the explosion with your katon abosrption. You put in all of your aura and stored katon and enton chakra into a superpowered spear and chunk it. Mav doesn't have the energy to even move, but he forms a seal and several walls of earth appear in front of him. Your spear penetrates through one after another, finally hitting Mav. It takes off one of his legs and begins to burn from the wound on up. You approach him with your guitar.
"Ha! You won't be taking my soul, you bastard. All of this research in giving inanimate objects life was for my ultimate goal of mastering reincarnation. I'll be back, younger and stronger. I won't forget this. He forms a seal and the life seems to leave his eyes right before June smashes through his skull.
"Anything?" you ask.
"No... his soul already left his body..."
"Hm, no biggie. I don't give a damn who it is, but we need that last soul," you reassure. You look around for any women, children, anything to take out. You see a leftover clay golem, split in half, crawling around using just his arms. Bingo. You bring June over to him and slam her down on his head. This is it. You appear in that realm again.
You look around again. It's a calm evening. Dark, but a little light from the sun still illuminates the horizon. The sea is calm, but littered with 1000 bodies. You look to the shore. There is only one throne, considerably larger than the others were. Seated in it is the reaper, looking out to sea, with his skull resting in his bony hand. He looks at you, his eye sockets glowing with a burning red light. He grins his skeletal grin and beckons you over. You do so.
"Where's June?" you ask. He looks at you for a moment before answering simply.
"Free."
"Oh, is that so? Then why am I here?" you ask.
"Why do you always come here, mortal?"
"Uh... to upgrade my skills."
"See, you do remember," he cackles. "Here are your choices. Throw three spears a day. Make your speed buff permanent. Improve wake the dead. Summon the gates of hell. Choose wisely, mortal."
A. Enton spear limit(3) B. Speed buff permanent(not to be confused with speed burst) C. Army of the Dead D. Gates of hell
"You two sure are shoving this gates thing down my throat," you say.
"I didn't feel like explaining anything new," the reaper admits.
"Oh. Well I'll take it, then."
"It is so."
You're back in Mav's front yard, if you can even still call it that. You look around to find June picking little flowers and smelling them. She seems delighted. She walks up to you and offers you one.
"Thanks," you say as you put it in your hoody pocket.
"It's a wonderful feeling! I can't remember the last time I've smelled," she says.
"You smell alright. Like the ocean. A shower wouldn't hurt," you say. She pouts, not amused. You ruffle her hair a little and she perks up. "Welcome to the real world. Let's go home."
"Let's," she agrees. You text Forte and wait for the tornado to come. You hear someone whispering and look around.
"Did you hear that, June?" you ask.
"Hear what?" she asks.
"Nevermind." That was weird, to say the least. You listen intently and can hear the strange whisper again. You can't quite make out what it's saying, though. This is getting a little creepy. The tornado scoops the three of you up and you touch down at Forte's. You make your way inside.
"Forte!" you call.
"Yo!" he calls from the back, and makes his way to you. "Well god damn, not a scratch on you... I don't believe it. You really are something else."
"Thanks, it wasn't easy, though. Also, I hit my mark."
"Your mark?" he asks, a little confused.
"I'd like you to meet June," you say.
"Uh, where?" You look around before realizing that she's hiding behind you, holding on to the sleeve of your hoody.
"Don't be shy," you say. She shakes Forte's hand and smiles shyly.
"I'll be outside," she says, and walks out.
"Well well, she's a pretty one, isn't she? I'm a little jealous," he admits.
"Well, why don't you go get your souls?" you ask.
"I can't do that to people."
"Why don't you give me the guitar? I'll get you the souls and return it after."
"Really?" he asks.
1. Yes. 2. No. A. Hang out with June. She'll reteach you some fire techs. B. Slaughter! C. Take out Kieo. D. Take out Pyro. E. Take out Neji.
"Yeah, man. I'll hook you up. Least I could do after all of your help."
"I appreciate it. I've always felt pretty guilty keeping her locked up in there," he says, making his way outside. He summons Minerva in a lightning bolt and hands her to you. "Take good care of her," he says.
"Alright, I guess I should let her know what's going on," you say. You sit down where you are and play around with the strings. Next thing you know, you're in another realm, yet again.
Once again, you can hear the roar of the ocean, this time distant. You are in a little shrine on a cliffside. It looks like Greek architecture. Along the cliffside, there are 1000 candles, trailing to a huge statue of a bearded man, rising all the way up from the ocean below to about eye level with you.
"Forte...gave me away?" you hear a woman sob. You turn to see a beautiful woman with long brown hair resting over her right shoulder.
"No, Minerva, that's not it at all," you try to explain.
"I should have seen this coming... first he stops spending time with me, then he only summons me when he needs me. Now he gives me away," she says between sobs.
"Minerva-"
"I hate him! I hate him so much!"
"Shut up," you say, losing your patience. "If you'd be quiet for two seconds, I could explain the situation." She shuts up. "Now, Forte is not giving you away. I am just borrowing you for a while so I can get the souls necessary to get you out of here."
"Really?" she asks, still crying a little.
"Really." You snap back to the real world without saying another word.
"How'd she take it?" asks Forte. You sigh in frustration.
"Well, she's happy about it, whenever she finally let me get a word in edgewise. Bit of a panicker, that one."
"Yeah... thanks, man." Forte walks back inside, leaving you and June.
"You're a good friend," she says with a smile.
"Thank you. So what do you say we spend a little time training together?"
"Alright! I'll teach you my fire techniques," she says.
"Can't wait to hear the choices," you say.
"Choices? They're all yours... it'll just take a bit to learn them all. But I guess you do have to decide which one you want to learn first."
"See, I knew there were choices."
"I'll reteach Ra or fire clones. I also know fire dragon bullet, and a handthrown fireball. Hell, I know a lot. For the sake of saving time, let's start with those.
A. Recover hokage bunshins B. Recover summon: Ra C. Fire dragon bullet D. Hand tossed fireballs
"I need to learn to use the Hokage Bunshins again," you say.
"That's not a bad choice," she says. She guides you through the process with as much contact as possible, helping you form the seals. Cute, but unnecessary.
"Okay, are you ready to try it out?"
"Let's do it." You and she form the clones at the same time. Two Junes appear by her, and two yous appear by you. "Damn, we have ourselves a small army," you say.
"That's right, and we can learn to make more with practice."
"Nice. I can work on changing mine into enton. I'd teach you, but I kinda lost the booklet..." you say.
"Don't worry, I don't need it. So, we still have some time left in the day. What do you want to do?"
A. Moar souls 1. All to your guitar 2. All to Minerva 3. Half n half B. Kill Kieo C. Kill Neji D. Kill Pyro E. Train longer
"Let's go get some souls for Minerva," you say.
"Okay. Do you mind if I come with you?" she asks.
"Uh... of course you're coming with me. Who said you could leave my side?" She blushes at this and you text your peeps. You don't have to get very far. Yushi is the first to respond.
"Actually, there is someone who might be able to use your help."
"Who?"
"This afro-clad guy is taking on a bunch of racists here in Brookhaven, Mississippi. There are a lot of them, but they're dwindling fast. He seems to be keeping most of them alive, though. May want to hurry."
"Alright, June. Ready to go to Mississippi?"
"What's it like there?"
"Red. Red clay and trees. Good times." You let Forte know and he sends you on your way. You appear in a small town. There are a bunch of white robes guys trying to fight a black man with a big, messy fro. They're not having a good time. He fights like Bruce Lee.
"What's up? Who's this lovely lady?" Yushi asks as he approaches you.
"This is June." June just smiles.
"Well, I'm glad I won't have to mess anyone up after all. You may want to get to work, though," he says.
"Yeah, I'll get right on that," you say.
"You can relax. I'll go take care of them," says June. "You can clean up in my wake." She forms a seal and is shrouded in lightning. She quickly forms another and activates a fire shroud on top of it. She runs in and goes to town. She's pretty amazing. Fast as hell, to say the least. She incorporates a lot of acrobatics into her taijutsu style. Backflip kicks and the like. She mostly uses her legs, but you see her throw the occasional quick jabs. The afroed man looks on in awe. After you give Minerva all of the souls, the man approaches.
"Hey, that was impressive," he says, extending his hand. "Thanks, both of you." You shake.
"Any time. Don't mind her, she's a little shy," you motion to June, who's half hiding behind you again.
"Oh, it's not a problem. Look, I've got some things to take care of, but here's my number. If you need something, I'd like to return this favor."
"Thanks. What's the name, friend?"
"It's Huey."
"Alright, Huey. Later. Minerva, how many did we get?"
"100! Wow... I never thought I'd have this many," she says excitedly. Before you can respond, you hear that whisper. It sounds like a bunch of people trying to tell you a bunch of different things at once. You shake it off and decide what to do next.
A. Go home, get ready for bed, upgrade Minerva, then sleep. B. See what Yushi is up to. C. See if Huey needs more help.
"Yushi, I'm gonna go see if Huey needs any more help."
"Alright, I wont be staying in town, though. I'll be in touch. Later," he says.
You, June and Deimos make your way down the street after Huey. You feel June grab your hand and look to see what she wants. She just looks at the ground shyly. You let her hold on as you walk. Finally, you catch up with Huey.
"Hey," you greet.
"What's up?" he asks.
"Just wanted to see if you needed any more help."
"Well, I don't want to be a burden, but I am looking for someone. Some help in the search would be nice, but I'm gonna the one to take him out."
"Did he wrong you in the past or something?" June speaks up.
"You could say that. He's a fellow disciple. He killed our master, for a wad of cash."
"Alright, we'll search. What's he look like?" you ask.
"He has an afro like mine. Hard to miss," he says. You all come to an intersection, Huey waves and continues going straight.
"We should make clones to do some recon," June suggests. The two of you do so, sending on pair left, and one pair backwards. You and June go right. Not too far down the road, you suddenly have the knowledge of where he is.
"One of my clones self destructed to let me see where he was," you say. You call Huey.
"Hello?"
"Found him," you say. "He's at a liquor store, by a Hollywood video. If you go left at that intersection, you'll find him."
"Alright, thanks. I owe you another one."
"Buy us a drink some time," you say.
"Deal. Bye."
A. You've done your part. Text Forte for a ride home. B. Go watch the fight.

A CYOA

Post by Yushinoki on Feb 7, 2011 3:47:25 GMT
"You want to go watch?" you ask.
"Whatever you want," June says, grabbing your hand again. You make your ways down to the liquor store. There's the guy, still outside, and Huey hasn't made it yet. You sneak over to the liquor shop and pull yourself up on the roof. You reach to help June up, but she does fine on her own. You see Huey make his way over.
"Hey, Afro. Looks like I found you."
"Huey! What are you doing here, man?"
"Drop the bull****. I know what you did. This is the end of the road," Huey says.
"Looks like I'm found out... this sucks. I didn't want to have to hurt you, Huey."
Afro sets down his paper bag full of liquor and walks over to Huey. He draws a large combat knife and slashes at Huey's face. He leans over backwards, dodging the swipe, and brings up his leg into Afro's chin as he flips himself over backwards. Afro throws the knife at him, but he just slides his head over to his shoulder and it glides right by him. They circle for a second, until Huey goes in for the attack. Afro withdraws, deflecting the blows as he goes. He backs up into the wall, and Huey performs a flying kick. Afro sidesteps it, but Huey pushes off the wall with his leg and swings it around into Afro's face. You hear his nose break as he falls to the floor. Huey closes in quickly and raises his leg for an axe kick, but Afro rolls out of the way and scrambles to his feet. His blood pours from his nose. He forms a seal and throws a punch, a swirling wind exploding from his fist at the end. Huey dodges one, then another, before catching Afro's arm. He wrenches it against the elbow, forcing Afro to flip over or have it broken. He nimbly lands on his feet and uses the momentum to throw Huey over his shoulder. Huey, too, lands on his feet and releases him. Quickly spinning around with a backhand. He catches Afro square in the jaw, dazing him. He uses the opportunity to throw a wicked straight. Afro catches it as he rolls over on his back, placing both feet on Huey's stomach and rolls him over. As he releases him, Huey grabs a leg and rolls on the ground, pulling Afro over him and slamming him into the ground in front of him. He quickly jabs two fingers into Afro's eyeballs, permanently blinding him. He picks Afro's head up and slides under him, placing him into a chokehold.
"Huey?" you call.
"Yeah?" he says as he struggles to choke the life out of Afro.
"Think I could have the last hit? I kinda need the soul."
"His soul? A fitting end for this bastard. Go for it."
A. Give the soul to your guitar. B. Give the soul to Minerva. C. Nevermind.
You grab your guitar and hop down, swinging it at Afro's head right when Huey lets go. It sucks his soul and you help Huey up.
"Appreciate it," you say.
"Any time. Thanks for the help. I need to get some rest now. I'll be around if you need me."
You go grab the bag of liquor before texting Forte to send you your ride. You hear sirens(happy flame?) as the tornado scoops your little party up and drops you off at his house.
"Well, that was fun," says June as she stretches. "Definitely better from the outside of that thing."
"Yeah it's fun," you confirm. "Glad you enjoyed it."
"I'm feeling a little odd right now. My eyes are kind of heavy."
"It's called being 'tired'," you explain. "You should hit the sack."
"I want to stay up until you go to bed," she says. Bed. It sounds pretty good right now. But you have to upgrade two different guitars still. And you do have this bag of liquor. First thing's first. You get ready for a shower, but decide it's polite to let the lady go first. Plus she smells like sea salt. You take your turn next, get dressed, and make your way into the living room. You see June sitting on the couch and Forte in his recliner. It's a little...awkward to say the least. You know of one good way to help her overcome her shyness. But that could wait. So many unimportant choices. It's a little overwhelming.
A. Break out the booze. Party time at Forte's. B. Go upgrade Minerva and your guitar, then drink up with your friends. C. Upgrade, then hit the sack after getting June situated.
You decide to go mess with your guitars before doing anything else. You head to the back and meditate with Minerva first. You appear on that cliff side, and have a seat next to her.
"Hello!" she says. She seems to be in a good mood this time.
"Hi," you reply. "So what'cha got for me?"
"Well... just a few simple things. The openings of paths, so to speak. Right now, I understand only the element of Earth. I can learn any second element you want. Also, I can summon a black dog to stay by your side."
"But I already have one," you say.
"Yes, Deimos. I know of him. This is his brother, Phobos. Unlike Deimos, he is an attack dog. So, take your time, and let me know what you decide."
A. Summon: Black Dog(Phobos) B. Unlock Wind element C. Unlock Water element D. Unlock Fire element E. Unlock Lightning element
"I want to summon Phobos," you say.
"Okay, then, my friend. He's yours!" she says as you find yourself back in your room. Okay, next guitar. You pick yours up and meditate. You hear that strange whisper again as you find yourself on the beach. The only thing different is the vortex of souls that light up the night sky. They swirl around, whispering at no one in particular. They all have something to say, but they sure as hell aren't waiting their turn. It's hard to make out the reapers voice over the ruckus.
"Welcome back, mortal," he greets. You just wave.
"What would you like to do with this soul? Your choices are as follows: Turn your fire clones into enton clones. Make your speed buff permanent. Upgrade your enton shroud to explode into a nova on occasion. Upgrade your spear to explode on demand, with a starting radius of about 10 feet. The choice is yours, human.”
A. Enton Clones B. Speed buff is now base speed C. Enton Nova D. Exploding enton spear
"I want the enton nova," you decide.
"It is so," says the reaper, as you find yourself back in the real world. You leave your guitars in your room, get up, grab the booze, and make your way into the living room.
"What do you have, there?" Forte asks.
"Apparently... Crown Royal. This guys liked his Canadian whiskey." You toss Forte a fifth and go grab a couple shot glasses from the cabinet before you sit next to June. You pour the both of you a shot and you down yours. June drinks hers and makes quite the face.
"Haha, doesn't taste very good, huh?" you ask.
"Not at all..." she says.
"I got some cokes in the fridge," Forte suggests. He's already a quarter of the way finished with his bottle. You stand up, trade in the shot glasses for a couple of big ass cups, and mix a drink for yourself and June a piece. You sit back down and hand it to her.
"Try this one," you say. She does so, and seems to like it.
"I like this one," she says.
"Man, I can't believe you took down Mav. I was a little worried, I have to admit," says Forte.
"I appreciate it, but it was no big deal," you shrug. The three of you drink up for a little while before Forte finishes his bottle. He's feeling it a little.
"But really though... thank you. I always felt really guilty about Minerva. I appreciate you doing this for me, man," he says.
"No biggie," you reply. June is too busy burying her face in the cup to say anything. "Hey, don't drink too much, you'll get sick."
"I feel really good," she says, stifling a little hiccup.
"You're getting drunk is why," you explain.
"I know! I'm not dumb..." she mumbles.
"Right, I'm sorry," you say, ruffling her hair a little. She leans into it like a cat or something. You toss Forte another bottle as he walks by to throw his away. "Forte, hold on to the fuzzy purple things. I like them for some reason," you say.
"Will do," he replies. That dude can drink. A whole fifth and he's still good to go. You drink up yourself, until you finally start to feel about it.
"June, you haven't been here very long," says Forte, "but I consider you a friend. You're more than welcome to stay here, as well."
"Thank you, Forte," says June, still a little shy. She scoots a little closer to you, innocently. You're now more than a little tipsy, and various thoughts fill your mind. This girl is fine. She's also naive and innocent. You could defile her. You know how she feels about you. She'll do anything you ask. Tonight. you're going to ruin her. You grin devilishly.
"What's so funny?" June asks with a smile.
"It's nothing," you say. Mmm. She smells nice too. Now anyway. Not like the ocean anymore. That's right, she'll be yours. All yours. Not a damn thing anyone can do about it. There's a little voice in the back of your mind that tells you not to ruin this. She looks up to you, respects you. You can't take advantage of her like this. You quickly dismiss the voice as a sissy and continue your evil thoughts. Just then, Forte's phone rings.
"****, sorry guys, I'm gonna have to take this..." he answers the call. You hear the conversation until he's out of earshot. "No, no, I've just been really busy. No, I really wanted to call. Yeah. Yeah. No, it's not like that at all. I told you, I'm busy lately...."
Now it's just you and June. What were you thinking about again? Don't remember. Oh well. You hear a few raindrops on the roof and the crash of thunder in the distance. You love the rain.
"June, let's step outside under the patio. I haven't had a smoke in forever," you say.
"Okay," she says. She gets up and stumbles a bit, but you catch her.
"Damn, you are gone!" you say. You let her use you as a crutch and go down the steps to the patio, before placing her down on a bench. You light up the stogie and take a puff. You offer it to June.
"Ew, I don't like this," she says. Oh well, you toss the whole pack in the garbage. Good a time to quit as any. You sit next to June on the bench. You just watch the weather for a while before she speaks up. "Hey, I just wanted to really thank you for what you did."
"It was nothing. You two need to relax," you say.
"No, it wasn't nothing. You really busted your ass for me, and put up with me when I acted like an idiot."
"Don't think anything of it."
"You're my best friend. If I could do something to repay you, I would," she says.
"Be careful what you say," you warn. She just stares at you. You lean in and kiss her briefly before pulling away. Uh oh, things are heating up! She looks at you nervously, but you both go in for another. She's uneasy at first, but gets the hang of it shortly after. After a while, she sits up and leans the other way, resting her elbow on the arm of the bench and her head in her hand. Her eyes are closed.
"What's wrong?" you ask. She seemingly ignores you for a bit, then just shakes her head, signifying 'nothing'. "Are you about to throw up?" She pauses for a second before shaking her head again.
"I wasn't... until you said something," she says softly. You pick her up and bring her to the bathroom, where you hold her hair like a gentlemen. She starts to dry-heave, but nothing comes out for a while.
"June, it's better to just let it out. It sucks, but you'll feel better after, I promise."
"I can't..." she says in between heaves. Looks like it's up to you to save the day again. You slide your index and middle fingers down her throat, and she starts to gag. You remove them as you feel the vomit come up.
"Everything alright?" Forte asks from the hallway.
"Yeah, but could you get her a bottle of water?"
"Sure," he responds.
"Feel better now?" you ask., She nods. You dampen a rag, wipe off her face, and carry her to your bed. You pull up a trash can next to the bed. "Sleep well. I'll see to you tomorrow morning."
"Night," she says weakly. Forte tosses you the water from the doorway and you hand it to her.
"May want to drink that," you say. "It'll make you feel even better." You hit the lights and set up a little bed on the living room couch. What do after breakfast tomorrow?
A. Rest up. Everyone's gonna be hungover. Don't do **** until at least noon. B. Time to kill a writer(Pyro, Neji, Kieo) C. Time for slaughter. D. Train with June.
You decide to sleep in tomorrow. You doze off fairly quickly. You wake up the next morning to find Forte already up as well. You don't even think about going back to sleep. You're wide awake.
"What time is it?" you ask.
"Six o'clock," Forte responds.
"Damn, man. That's ****ing early," you comment. You feel a little hungover, minor headache, barely existant nausea. Not too bad. Most of all, you're hungry. "Is Subway open?"
"I think so. They serve breakfast now, so they must be."
"**** breakfast," you say.
"They probably have other stuff, too," he says. You decide to get some. The two of you walk down the street a ways until you get to Subway. You order two teriyaki chicken subs, Forte gets a BMT. He eats his on the way back, but you hold on to yours. When you get back, you head to your room and gently shake June. She just mumbles and retreats under the covers. You climb over her and prop up the pillows she isnt using and lean up against them.
"I got you some food," you say. She peaks up from the covers and you dangle the bag in front of her. She sits up and you give her the sub. You two eat in silence for a while before you speak up.
"Why so quiet?" you ask.
"Sorry... I'm just a little embarassed."
"About what?" you ask, feigning ignorance.
"You know what," she says.
"Don't worry about it," you reassure. "Everyone overdoes it every now and again."
"Yeah, but at the worst time possible... do you have anything to drink?"
"Just some more crown," you say. She shudders at the thought of it.
"I can still practically taste it," she says. You go grab a couple of cokes and head back.
"Thank you," she says.
"Any time. Try to get better, we have work to do today."
"I can handle it," she says. She finishes her food and retreats back to the covers. You hear a door slam and some yelling.
"I'll be back," you say. You walk in the kitchen to find some woman yelling at Forte. She's got a knife, and is threatening him with it.
"Easy," he says.
"You said we'd be together! Why did you lie to me?" she yells. This ***** is crazy.
A. Kill her. B. Force her outside. C. Leave Forte hanging. This is fun to watch.
You decide to see where this goes. None of your business, anyway.
"Maddie, you need to relax," says Forte.
"Don't you call me by my nickname, you bastard! I revoke your right!"
"Look, I know I hurt you, and I'm sorry, but you're taking this too far."
"I haven't taken it far enough! I'm gonna gut you like the pig you are!" she yells as she charges him with the knife. He just grabs it with bare hand. The look on her face is priceless.
"Go," he commands. "You're crazy. You're not welcome around here."
"I'm going to send my big brother on you. You'll be sorry!" she says as she releases the knife and runs out the door.
"Forte," you laugh. "You sure know how to pick 'em."
"Hey, she was a freak in bed," he says. "Even after all that, I can't hate her. She was something else."
"I bet. 'Big brother' is gonna find himself in over his head, though," you say.
"He's no joke," Forte says. "Well, to us he is, but he's not terrible."
"Sounds like a joke to me," you say. "You're doing that humble thing again."
"Yeah, well... I guess I'm stuck here, waiting for him."
1. Wake June 2. Let her sleep A. No way, go do what you gotta do. I'll watch the house. B. Go look for a group of people to kill. C. Go kill a writer(choose one) D. Train with June(Obviously, you have to wake her up)
"Don't worry about it. I'll watch the house," you say.
"I appreciate it," he says. "I've got to go to work." He does so. June comes walking out of your bedroom.
"Are we going to be going soon?" she asks after yawning.
"No, we're gonna hang around the house. Why don't you go back to bed?"
"Yay!" she says, quickly returning to bed. You follow her into your room and grab your guitars. You head outside and sit on the front driveway. Deimos sits next to you as you summon the other black dog. There's a swirl of wind, and it reveals another large dog when it fades away. He's got a grayish tint, unlike Deimos' pitch black coat.
"Brother," he greets. His voice is more of a scratchy whisper, compared to Deimos' booming voice. Deimos nods in acknowledgement. Phobos makes his way to your other side and sits. You notice his eyes are a firey blue.
"Welcome to the party," you say.
"Thank you," he says.
"So I hear that you're an attack dog. What all can you do?"
"I have a decent knowledge of black magic, and I am comfortable in a close quarters fight," he explains.
"Should be useful." You notice Deimos and Phobos both look in the same direction, perking up their pointed ears. "Something coming?"
"A man. He smells like that woman that was here before."
A man walks up to the house. He has a knife holster on his leg. He sports a kelly green jersey, somewhat tightly fitting.
"Yo, you the one that hurt my little sister?"
A. Yep, that was me. B. Nope, but I'll gladly **** you up in his place. C. Explain the situation. It sounds like his sister might have twisted the truth to get him on her side.
"No, I'm not, but I'd gladly **** you up in his place," you say, activating your enton shroud.
"Fool," he says. He forms a seal as four streams of water bust out of the ground around him. They meet above his head, creating a water dragon bullet to end all water dragon bullets. It could not only wipe you away, it could take Forte's house with it, and June's still in there. You go to summon the Gates of Hell, but Phobos stops you.
"Let me handle this one," he says. The huge dragon flies slowly right for you, but suddenly diverts as it reaches you. Every last drop of water is sucked into Phobos' mouth. Where he puts it all is beyond you. He spits it all out at once, in an extremely fast, monstrously high pressure stream. If you had blinked, you wouldn't have known anything had happened. It slits the man's earlobe as it jets by his face.
"You should respect other people's property," he says.
"Yeah, we should probably relocate for this fight," you say. You get up and lead him to the woods that Cactus created. "Now, we can begin."
He forms another seal as the drizzle becomes a hard rain. The clouds in the immediate area condense over you, and a ton of water drops from the sky, attempting to crush you.
A. Summon your fallen Angel. B. Speed burst towards him and engage in CQC C. See what Phobos does with it. Hopefully the first one didnt take too much out of him. D. Throw an enton spear at the waterfall, hoping to evaporate it with ultra-hot flames.
You activate your speed burst and charge in. Before the man knows what happened, you're swinging your guitar in his face. He stumbles over backwards trying to get away. You don't relent. He gets a few serious burns just from being near you. He forms a seal as he dodges and a huge wall of earth forms a bowl around the woods, reaching far above the trees. The water crashes behind you and sweeps you a good distance until you hit a tree. You burn through it and are able to rise to the surface of the newly formed lake. You use your chakra to stand up on it. You run towards the man and continue your assualt. You try to swing, but he just glides backwards, moving much more quickly than on dry land. He seems to be manipulating the current to basically surf on the surface. On dry land, you were faster by a long shot, but now he has the speed advantage. He forms seals and chants while gliding around, avoiding your swings. Two balls of flame fly by you from behind, attached by a string of lesser flame, like a bola. A barrage of these swirls of flame attempt to overwhelm the man, but he glides around them nimbly. He finishes his seals and two huge sea beasts emerge from the water. They look like the Loch Ness monster. They both shoot a jet of water at you. Suddenly, the air in front of you splits open, forming a circle like a mirror. You see the back of the man through the rift. The jets from the beasts appear behind him, hitting him and forcing him underwater before the rists close. You use this opportunity to
A. Summon the angel B. Create clones to help take out the beasts C. Form an enton spear and hurl it at one of the beasts. Throw a flaming guitar at the other. D. Dive underwater and go after the man while he's submerged.
You create your two clones and charge the beast on the right with one, sending the other to distract the other beast. Your clone goes for the neck of the beast and hacks away. The blows are doing next to nothing against it, and it slams its head down into it. He explodes beneath its jaw, leaving it stunned long enough for you to climb on top of its head and bring down your guitar through one of its eyes. It reals in pain, but you hang on tight and mercilessly slam the guitar into its skull again and again until it sinks through, dead as a doornail. You look to the other battle to see the beast bite your clone in half. It explodes in his mouth and he loses a few teeth, but is otherwise fine. You hear a large crack as a portion of the earth wall falters. The pressure from the water breaks through the crack and it begins pouring out. You grab on to one of the taller trees that reaches above the water and hang on for dear life. Once all the water's gone, you see the other beast spasm around, fighting for breath. The man is propped up against a nearby tree, coughing up water and gasping for air. You drop down and make your way to him.
"Was it worth it?" you ask.
"...she may be off her rocker, but she is my sister. I would willingly give my life for her. But I'm not done yet." He forms a seal, but you grab his hand and squeeze until you hear a snap.
"Oh yes you are," you correct. "What was your name?"
"Eagle."
A. Spare him B. Give his soul to Minerva C. Give his soul to your guitar D. Let Deimos decide E. Let Phobos decide
You slam your guitar into him and it sucks his soul. You enter the other realm with it, watching as another soul rises from a body in the sea and joins the others in the sky, whispering with the rest of them.
"Welcome back, mortal," the reaper says.
"Thanks," you reply.
"What will you use this soul for? You can improve your fire clones to enton. You can learn a song that empowers Deimos' grip of terror on your opponents. You can learn to explode your enton spears on command. You can learn to release a small wave of black flame with your guitar swing. The choice is yours, as usual, human."
A. Enton clones B. Empower Deimos' fear C. Explosive enton spear D. Enton flare

A CYOA

"I want the exploding spear," you say.
"So be it," he commands. You snap back to reality as the earth wall retreats into the ground. You jack Eagle's combat knife, and you and your dogs walk back to the house.
"That was some impressive stuff, Phobos," you compliment.
"Thank you. It took a bit out of me, though. I'm going to take a nap," he says, and walks into the living room and curls up.
"And good job on that wall. He's a bit... different from you, isn't he?"
"He has a kind soul," Deimos agrees. You decide to go check on June. She's still out. She looks so peaceful, but it's time to get up, so you shake her a bit.
"Five more minutes..." she mumbles.
"I got you something," you say. She perks up a little. You pull the knife from the sheath and spin it around, handle facing her. She takes it and looks at it. It's a big knife, black with a silver edge, serated closer to the handle. It looks pretty badass.
"This is for me? You didn't have to do that!" she says happily.
"Don't be too excited. I got it off a dead guy," you explain.
"It's the thought that counts. What dead guy?"
"Oh, just some guy. He tried to flood the house so I killed him," you say.
"You should have woken me up! I'm supposed to fight by your side..." she says.
"Don't worry about it. There will be plenty of time for that. Besides, you had a rough night," you say as you hand her the sheath.
"That's okay," she refuses. "Want to see a magic trick?"
"Sure." She holds the knife between her two index fingers, one on the point, one on the handle. Her fingertips spark with electricity, and she pushes them together as the knife dissapears between them, until they touch.
"That was pretty cool," you admit.
"That's not it," she says. "Can you hand me a rag or something?" You go grab a rag from the bathroom and hand it to her. She holds hand out and places the rag on it. She does the magic fingers over it and remove the rag, revealing the knife in her hand, arcing with electricity.
"Ta da!"
"Damn, impressive."
"So, what are we going to do?" she asks as she peeks out the window. "Gloomy day, isn't it?"
"Yeah, it is. We're going to
A. Find people to slaughter B. Kill a writer(pick one) C. Train together D. Go get something to eat
"We're going to take out Neji," you say.
"Whatever you want to do," says June. You hop on Forte's computer, log on to your account, and start berating Neji.
"Hey, Neji," you post.
"Yes?" he responds.
"Three things. 1, Hinata is a fat piece of ****. 2, Neji is low tier chuunin AT BEST, and 3, Haku is a terrible, uninteresting character whose only redeeming feature was getting his heart pierced by Kakashi. Twice. Oh, I almost forgot, your CYOA is boring and I hate you."
"...do you have a death wish?"
"Yes, please put me in my place. Where to meet?" You hear a knock on the door a few minutes later. You go answer it.
"How'd you find me?" you ask.
"I used my byakugan, obviously."
"Damn, you take roleplaying to a whole other level. Let's step into the yard, shall we?" You walk out and he follows behind you, taking an odd taijutsu stance. Looks like he's ready to slap box. You know he's like a fly to you by now. You could enjoy the domination, or let someone else take care of it. Phobos comes walking outside as well.
A. Stomp him in the ground. B. Toy with him. C. Let June solo. D. Let Deimos solo. E. Let Phobos solo.
You bring Minerva down on Neji's head, putting him out of his misery once and for all. You go through the now extremely familiar change in environment. Who'd have thought this kind of **** would become so normal to you?
"Hello, Minerva," you greet.
"Hello, my friend," she replies. "Hey, I was wondering about earlier..."
"What do you mean?"
"When that man said that someone hurt his sister, he was talking about Forte, wasn't he?"
"Yeah... but it's not a big deal," you say, hoping to drop the subject.
"Forte... he wouldn't hurt someone without a good reason. He meant in a different way, didn't he?"
"Uh... she went at him with a knife, so he had to hurt her," you lie.
"I can tell that you're lying," she says. "Please tell me the truth."
"Alright, well, he had a one night stand with her and she was expecting more. Things went downhill from there." Her lip begins to quiver.
"A o-one night stand?" she asks, tears beginning to roll from her eyes.
"It's not a big deal," you say. "It's not like those girls meant anything to him."
"Those?" She's full on sobbing again. "More than one?" ****... let that slip.
"Yeah, but like I said-"
"Were they pretty?" she asks.
"They were pretty fine..." you say. May as well be honest, she knows when you lie.
"They were probably a lot prettier than me... I always wanted to be... but I guess that he deserves..."
"Minerva, you're not even making sense now," you say.
"I'm sorry. I just... Forte..." she weeps. You sigh in frustration.
"Look, why do you think he has me freeing you?"
"I don't know... so he can use the guitar without having to deal with me?"
"God damn, you're dense..."
"What do you mean?" she sobs.
"It's because he cares about you," you reassure.
"Did he... tell you that?" she asks. She almost immediately stops crying, but still gets those leftover sobs out of her system.
"Not directly, but I can tell." She just looks at you. "Trust me, Minerva."
"Ok... I trust you. Sorry I took so much of your time. Shall we move on?"
"Don't worry about it. Yes, let's move on."
"I can use this soul to unlock more paths. I've narrowed it down to wind or water. I can teach you to shoot a stalagmite up from the ground to impale your opponent. I can teach you to exhale debris in a fierce wind, or the earth dragon bullet."
A. Unlock wind B. Unlock water C. Jutting spike D. Gravel breath E. Earth dragon bullet
"I want to unlock the wind element," you say.
"Consider it done, my friend," she says. You're back in Forte's front yard.
"So... shouldn't we do something with the body?" June asks.
"Well... I guess so. I normally just leave them where they lie, though."
"I'll take care of it," she says. She makes a seal and exhales superhot air. You can see it distort the air as Neji's flesh burns off and his bones char. She keeps at it until he's ash.
"Thank you, June."
"Any time! Are you proud?"
"An understatement," you say. She grins from ear to ear. "How come you never taught me any of those techniques?"
"I- I just didn't think..." she stammers.
"I was just playing," you say.
"I can teach you whatever fire techniques you want. Please don't be mad..."
"I'm not mad at all. But I'll probably take you up on your offer."
"You want to start now?"
"Uh... I'm not sure. Let me see..."
A. Rampage B. Kill another writer C. Train with June D. Something else(suggest)
"Yeah, we should train up a little," you decide.
"Sounds good to me," she says.
"I'll teach you something, first," you say. "It'll help your taijutsu game a little."
"Really?" she asks.
"Yeah, I'll show you what ChetleyDew showed me."
"You think he's okay with you passing that down?"
"He's not my master. His words. I'll do as I please."
"Okay. I'll do my best. After that, I'll teach you a new katon. I can teach you the Fire Dragon Bullet, the steam breath technique I used on Neji's corpse, the concentrated flamethrower I used to take out his legs, the exploding wisp, or the Great Fireball technique. You can use stored energy from your absorption to empower these. There's more, but we should start there. You can upgrade them to Enton later on."
1. Teach her to strengthen her blows 2. Teach her to increase her defenses 3. Teach her to heighten her reflexes 4. Teach her to move more quickly A. Learn Fire Dragon Bullet B. Learn Steam Breath C. Learn Concentrated Flamethrower D. Learn the exploding wisp. E. Learn the Great Fireball
You use ChetleyDew's technique to teach her how to feel out your opponent and better respond to their movements. You opt out of the whole sneak attack test, though. That could end pretty badly, whether she successfully dodges it or not. A better test is in order.
"Hold out your hands, palms down," you say. You place your palms against hers. "Now, don't let me slap them." The second you even think about moving, her hands are at her side.
"Did I do well?" she asks.
"Yeah, I think you got it."
"Okay, your turn. Let's head over to a tree. Your training will be over when you can burn through it like a hot knife through butter." She guides you to a nearby tree and teaches you the seals. At first, you get little more than a puff of flame. Before you know it, you can form it into a jet. Still, itms not nearly intense enough. It spreads out, unlike hers, which was like a laser. You keep at it until you form a beatiful stream of fire that slices right through the tree. It's a pretty good attack, most effective at a medium range.
"Alright, guess that's that, then."
"You're quick," she comments. "So... what now?"
It's getting a little late, but Neji was taken care of so quickly that you still have some time to take care of another thing. Or, you could dick around. The masked man will likely warn you of any suspicious activity involving RighteousTip. Whatever the **** you want, really.
A. Look for some souls to harvest. B. Take out Pyro or Kieo C. Dick around(suggestions)
"Let's just hang out tonight," you suggest. You make your way to the bench on Forte's patio and have a seat. June takes a seat next to you. You watch the rain for a while before you decide to ask June something that's been on your mind.
"June, you mind talking to me about something?" you ask.
"Of course," she says.
"I've been wondering, how did you end up trapped in that guitar? And what was your life like before that?"
"It's all a little blurry... it's been a long time."
"You don't have to say anything if you don't feel comfortable," you say.
"No, you're my best friend. I don't think there should be any secrets. I lived in a time where there was no cars or anything like that. People fought each other with swords and armor and the like. I hardly remember a thing, except for a few memories of my grandfather, my father, and the night things went downhill... I don't remember my grandfather's name, or my father's name, or anything. Hell, without you, I wouldn't even know my own. My grandfather was a respected man. A warrior for God or something. He was really good to me, unlike my father. He was a cold man. I remember he used to be angry all the time. Sometimes... he'd take it out on me." You had never been good with consoling words, so you just put an arm around her to comfort her. "He used to say it was my fault that my mother died. I don't have the first idea of what she even looked like, but I guess it was somehow my fault. One of my fondest memories was when he tried to beat me in front of my grandfather. He laid him out good, and when he came to, my grandfather warned him that his son or not, if he laid a hand on me like that again, he'd put him out of his misery."
"I think I like your grandfather," you say.
"I did, too. When I was older, my father used to disappear a lot. He started to bring some people from town into the house, and they'd make their way into the cellar. My father said that if I ever went down there, or told grandfather about it, I wouldn't live to regret it. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, I'd hear chanting. It was creepy, to say the least. At some point, I had reaized that I could do strange things. Like light a candle with my bare hands. My grandpa knew about this, and told me not to tell a soul. I'd be hunted down as a demon worshipper or a witch. I thought to ask if he thought my father was a demon worshipper, but I was too scared. I just kept quiet, and that might have been my biggest mistake. One night, I heard the chanting, followed by silence, then a gruff voice. I couldn't make out what it said, but I thought I had made out the word "sacrifice".
Turns out, I was right. Some men knocked down my door and dragged me downstairs, kicking and screaming. I guess I was about 18 at the time. They brought me in front of a strange man, he was very big and tall. He had two sets of wings, like a bat, and ram horns curling out from his forehead. He ignored me completely, playing on an instrument I'd never seen before. It was a guitar."
"Satan." Deimos says.
"Wait a minute... you're saying these people summoned Satan himself into the world, and that this was his guitar?"
"Why are you so surprised? Deimos asks. “Not long ago, you summoned an angel with a power that rivals his own. Asmodeus, the prince of lust. It would be well within your power to summon Satan as well."
"Isn't he in charge, down there?"
"No, he is not. If you can summon one prince, there is a high possibility that you can summon the others, as well. Well, most of them. Satan, the prince of wrath, Leviathan, the prince of envy, Beelzebub, the prince of gluttony. Mammon, the prince of greed, and Belphegore, the prince of sloth. All of these are likely candidates to fight for your cause.”
"Interesting... but we're interrupting June's story. Go on."
"Well, the men started to rip away at my clothing and fighting to spread my legs. I fought with every last bit of energy. Suddenly, the demon stopped them. He said that a virgin sacrifice would be more adequate. My father asked if he was sure he'd be able to bring 'her' back. Most likely my mother. The demon confirmed this, and the men slit me open from my chest down. It hurt, and I felt myself fading away as I bled out. The demon approached me, and touched my face. He told me I'd be going somewhere 'pleasant'. The next thing I knew, I was on that beach. At first, I was so angry. At everything. My father for betraying me, even my grandfather for not being there to save me. The beach always stayed the same. I had no way to tell time, but it felt like an eternity. Every emotion I had was replaced with loneliness. One day, I heard a voice whisper to me. He told me that he felt sorry for me, and wanted to get me out of that place. He said that the only way to do that was to trade my soul for those of 1000 people. Hardly a fair trade-off, but I didn't care. I agreed, and the wind kicked up a small sandstorm. When it settled, there was that sculpture. It held a piece of paper in one hand, and a pen in the other. I signed without hesitation.”
“The voice told me that I would have to be patient. He said I would need another human's help to get out. He promised that he would make sure I found my way to someone. One day, a very strong looking black man appeared on the beach. He was old, but still had a youthful energy. He seemed surprised to see me, saying something like 'so it was true'. I asked him if he would help me, and he said that he couldn't condemn so many lives for just one. He explained what I had become. He left after mentioning 'the other one'. I guess that was Minerva."
"Did she end up in that guitar in a similar way?" you ask.
"I have no idea. That's something you'll have to talk to her about. Many people passed through the beach, but not one would help me. One day, a big, strong, and handsome man came by and told me my name," she says with a wink.
"Who could that be?" you ask.
"I hope you can understand now just how serious my situation was when you saved me, and that it was a 'big deal'. On top of it, I even lost my scar when I was released, so thanks for that, too."
"What do you think that the reaper intends to do with all of those souls?" you ask.
"I'm not sure, but there's something that tells me he isn't evil. You'll have to ask him what he intends to do."
"I guess I will. Thanks for telling me all of that."
"It feels good to get it off of my chest."
"Glad I could help, then. By the way, you're very pretty for such an old timer," you joke.
"After what I went through, I feel like I deserve some eternal youth. Although I wish I had some wisdom to show for it. Sitting alone on the beach doesn't really help with that. I'm still an idiot."
"No, you're not," you correct. "By the way, Deimos, I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure you left out one of the seven deadly sins."
"The prideful one will not answer your call. Not yet, anyway."
"So, now it's your turn," June says.
"How am I supposed to follow that up? My life has been pretty boring. Went to school, played sports, got into drugs and alcohol, and struggled through a year and a half of college. Then I became a ****ing ninja. How the hell do you get pop-culture references, anyway?"
"Forte was nice enough to play me while he read or watched TV from time to time. We really never talked, though. I had become much too shy. A side effect of being alone, I guess."
"Don't have to worry about that, anymore."
"I know. Do you know how happy I am right now? Thank you, from the bottom of my heart."
"It was my pleasure."
"Well, I'm with you, whatever you decide to do."
"I appreciate it. It's getting late, though. We should rest up for tomorrow." You take turns with she shower and you set up your couch again. You're just about to doze off then you hear the door close. Definitely Forte's footsteps.
"Night, man," you call out.
"Night!" he says as he heads to the back. Just as you're about to doze off again, you hear softer steps this time. They stop short of you for a minute. Finally, June taps your shoulder.
"I'm... a little embarassed to say this, but all that talk has left me feeling uneasy. I keep reliving it through nightmares. Do you think I could... sleep with you tonight?" Yep. You make room and finally fall asleep.
The next morning!
A. Find a writer and kill him(Pyro or Kieo) B. Text your peeps. Massacre people with them. C. Train more with June. D. Sit on your ass again.
You wake up the next morning to breath in your ear. June is sleeping heavily. You pull out your phone and send a mass text to see if anything is going on. You go back to sleep for a while before a text wakes you up. It's from Yushi again. He's pretty reliable when it comes to this sort of thing.
"Come to the same neighborhood where you fought Maverickraven," he says.
"How did you know about that?" you ask.
"I have my ways," he says.
"Did I tell you and forget or something? What's going on?"
"Well, theres a nice little cult around who decided that the rain of blood and fire must be a sign. They're terrorizing the people around here."
"Okay, I'll be there shortly," you say. Luckily, Forte is already up and about. "Hey, I could use a ride again. Same place where you sent me for Maverickraven."
"Alright man. So uh, what's June doing on your couch?" he says with a sly smile.
"Oh, nothing special."
"Is that so?"
"Not yet, anyway." You gently shake her and tell her the plan. You all make your way outside and Forte summons his tornado. You arrive in the neighborhood to a bunch of hooded people walking around. A small group of them walk up to you with knives waving around.
"Who is your lord and savior?" they test.
1. Souls go to Minerva 2. Souls go to your guitar 3. Half and half A. Summon a fallen angel. Maybe you'll get their 'lord and savior' and he'll **** them up. B. Typical slaughter.
You quickly summon the angel. He emerges from the ground in front of you. Four bat wings? Check. Ram horns? Check. He also has long, gray wooly hair hair and a beard to match. Looks kind of like the few depictions of God that you've seen. Ironic. Suddenly, you realize the implications that this might have. You turn to look at June to see how she's handling it. She doesn't give a ****. Tough girl. The cultist prostrate themselves before him. He turns to you.
"You have summoned me, human?" he asks.
"Yep," you say.
"How arrogant... I like it. Ah, that's one of my guitars, isn't it? Let me see it," he commands.
"**** no," you say.
"Arrogant, indeed. Very well, I'll use another one." He turns to the cultists.
"Master! We've followed your teachings! Plea-" He's cut off by a curb stomp.
"Master? I do not know you, mortals," he says. He snaps his fingers and a guitar materializes, bathed in flames. He gets down on it. Best solo ever. The cultists around the neighborhood double over and their heads explode. Their souls fly, wailing, into Minerva. He snaps his finger again and the guitar vanishes. He turns to you again.
"You summoned me for this, mortal?"
"It was for the irony."
"I see!" he says with a laugh. "You are very bold, son of Adam. I like that. And you, girl, you seem familiar."
"I've got that kind of face," she says dismissively.
"How many souls did we get?" you ask.
"Exactly 100," he says. "And as a reward for your boldness, I offer you more." He snaps his fingers again and the ground splits open. Another group of souls fly into Minerva. "There's 100 more."
"Wow, thanks," you say. He retreats into the earth. You hear more noise and make your way over. You see Yushi take out the few remaining cultists execution style.
"What's up?" you ask.
"Not a lot... Jesus, what is this?" he says, noting the headless bodies all around.
"Nothing special. Thanks for the heads up," you say.
"Anytime, my friend. I'll be on my way."
"Later," you say. "June, I'll be back. Gonna mess with those souls." You sit down and meditate with Minerva. You appear in her realm, noting all the lit torches on the cliff side.
"Welcome back!" she says.
"Thank you. We're making progress, aren't we? I just came to realize how miserable it must be in here, so I intend to get you out as fast as possible."
"Thank you. I have 200 more souls, so we can do a couple of things with them. I can teach you to create one Tsuchikage Bunshin in addition to your two Hokage Bunshins. When it is destroyed, it solidifies, trapping your opponent. I can teach you to create a Kazekage Bunshin as well, like Forte's. I can strengthen Phobos' magic, allowing him to use stronger attacks more often. I can also increase his combat capabilities. He can learn to shapeshift, and become a humanoid, increasing his strength and speed. Or he can learn to dash with blinding speed through an opponent."
A. Earth clone B. Wind clone C. Improve Phobos' black magic D. Teach Phobos to shift shapes E. Teach Phobos a dashing attack
"I'd like for you to teach Phobos to shapeshift," you say.
"Alright, I'll do that. Now for the the next technique. I can teach you to create a row of jutting spikes, forming up to 6 large stalagmites from in front of you in a straight line towards the direction of your choice. I can teach you to cause a tremor under your enemies feet, throwing off their balance. I can enshroud myself with an earthen aura that increases blunt force by a massive amount. I can use a far more temporary aura that will petrify what it touches. The petrified body part can return to normal if not destroyed."
"Ok," you say.
"Now for some wind techniques. I can teach you to sling a blade of wind at your opponent, the wind dragon bullet, which cuts as it passes through an enemy, or the pushing gale."
A. Impaling wall B. Tremor C. Earth Aura: Blunt Force D. Earth Aura: Aggravated rock technique
1. Wind Blade 2. Wind Dragon Bullet 3. Pushing Gale.
"I want the blunt force aura and the wind dragon bullet," you say.
"Good choices. See you soon," she says as you return to that small neighborhood in Florida.
"You ready to go back, June?" you ask.
"Ready when you are," she says. You text Forte and he gives you a ride back home.
"I'm pretty impressed," you say.
"About what? I was just a bystander in that little fight," she says.
"Well, in front of you was the guy who caused all of this to happen to you. You didn't seem to give a damn."
"I didn't, really. It was so long ago I find it hard to be upset. I'm surprised I even remembered so many details when I told you about it."
"Didn't it upset you so much that you wanted to come sleep with me?"
"Well... I dreamt that I was stuck on that beach again. I woke up feeling really scared. I just didn't want to be alone anymore."
"Makes sense. Did you sleep better afterwards?"
"Like a baby. Thanks."
"Yep. Anyway, we should take care of some things while there's still daylight."
A. Kill a writer B. MOAR MURDER C. Train with June D. Nothing important, after all(suggest)
"We need to hurry up and get Minerva out of here, as well," you say. You makes your ways inside and Forte greets you.
"What's up?"
"Not a lot, making some good progress with Minerva."
"That's good. Really good. Speaking of which, have you heard about a rebel group in Russia? There is a faction attempting to bring it back to its former glory. They're real terrorists. Just the kind of guys you like to massacre, right?"
"Say no more," you say. You go back outside and Forte gives you a lift. You activate your enton shroud and June activates her katon and raiton shrouds immediately. There a group of men, looking like professional soldiers attacking the local militia. You can't understand a word of what the people are saying, but they're saying it loud. You create a wind dragon bullet and send it flying towards a group of the soldiers. A fire dragon bullet meets it in mid flight, courtesy of June, and it expands 3 times its original size, creating a tornado of fire with a dragon's head. It opens it mouth as it reaches the men, swallowing a group of them whole. They are bathed in flame as they are shredded apart by razor wind. The dragon explodes, baptising the area with fire. A group of survivng soldiers starts to aim for you. Just as they shoot, the electric wall rises from the ground in front of you. The bullets disintegrate as they attempt to fly through the wall. You play a song to wake the dead, tweaking it to perfection. An army of skeletons equipped with old school russian military uniform rise from the ground. They just look at you, awaiting your command.
"Bring me as many of those men as possible, alive," you order. They make their way around June's wall and full on sprint towards the soldiers. The enemies try to fight back but are overwhelmed. Bullets cant stop the undead. Some of them try grenades, but a lightning whip from June cleaves them all in half before they can even touch ground. The undead army continue their assault, some of them breaking to bring bodies while the others fight on. Finally, the battle is over, and the undead sink back into the ground to return to their slumber. You count 285 bodies.
A. Give them to Minerva B. Give them to your guitar C. Half and half
You allocate all of the souls to Minerva, putting her at at least 600 souls. You enter the temple on the cliffside to manage your upgrades.
"Hey, Minerva," you greet. She doesn't answer at first. You realize she's crying again. "What's wrong now?"
"Thank you so much!" she sobs. She runs up and hugs you a little too tightly.
"No problem," you squeeze out through constricted lungs. "You should probably let go."
"I'm sorry... don't know my own strength..." she says as she dries her tears and gets down to business. "For the first upgrade, an earth technique. you can choose to resist doton techniques or to forbid water techniques from battle. You can strike the ground and create a mudslide to swallow your opponents. You can also learn to create a roaming earth wall that attempts to smash your opponents."
A. Resist doton B. Taboo: suiton C. Mudslide D. Roaming earth wall
"I want to have the option to forbid suitons," you say.
"A very useful technique. Now for a new fuuton. You can become resistant to it or forbid raiton. Unfortunately, this forbids any and all raiton, so June will have to stick to katons for the duration. You can also create a suction. It's possible to resist to a certain extent, but you could suck an opponent toward you for you to strike. At the very least, you'll restrict them from moving backwards for a time. Then there's the rising wind. You channel wind chakra through the ground and it rises underneath your opponent, lifting them off of their feet."
A. Resist fuuton B. Taboo: raiton C. Pulling gale (banshou tenin-ish) D. Rising wind
"I want the rising wind," you decide.
"Alright, then. Last one! I can teach Phobos to summon a weapon to use when he shapeshifts. What weapon it is is your choice. I can teach you a song appealing to the Earth istelf, and it will aid you temporarily."
"Is that like mokuton?"
"Not quite. You aren't in control of what it does, you just have to trust it to be beneficial. You can aslo learn a song that strengthens Earth, Wind, and Fire techniques temporarily. Last is an earthen aura that allows me to phase through the earth. Dirt, rocks, trees, I can glide right through them."
A. Weapon for Phobos 1. Battleaxe 2. Warhammer 3. Claymore 4. (Suggest melee weapon) B. Alliance with nature C. September D. Earthen aura: Leech all creation(for Minerva)
"I want nature's help," you say.
"What? Oh, I'm terribly sorry, my friend. I must have forgot to mention the werewolf with the melee weapons."
"No, you mentioned it."
"O-oh... well, a good choice, then. Thanks for your help. See you later!" You appear back in the real world. Just then a strange voice calls to you.
"What's up, hero?" he says. You turn to see a man with messy hair, a hoody, and some shorts. He's munching on something. Next to him is a beautiful woman.
"Can I help you?" you ask.
"Well, no. I can help you, though," the man says. The woman chimes in in some weird dialect. You can almost make out some words, but not quite.
"How do you plan to do that?"
"Well, I've got some information for you. You see, we'll be facing a major threat in the not so distant future..."
"RighteousTip?" you ask.
"Nah, he's your problem, not ours."
"Who are you referring to? Who are 'we'?"
"All of us, hero."
"Te mdtr re cominh," the woman chimes in.
"Uhh... what?"
"Don't sweat it. Just take this little scroll. Only open it when you meet a couple of people you can't beat."
"Whatever," you say as he tosses you the scroll. This cryptic bull**** wears on your nerves.
"Well I guess we'll see you another time, hero," the man says as he tosses you something else. "Naruto shaped chicken nugget?"
"I'll pass," you say, letting it fall to the ground at your feet. The odd couple disappears in a flash of lightning.
"Who were those guys?" June asks.
"Dunno. Not too worried, either. Let's go home." You text Forte and he gives you a lift. You head back inside before getting a text. It's from Huey.
"Come get those drinks I owe you two," it reads.
A. Find out where and go meet Huey B. Take out a writer C. Train with June D. Dick around some other way
"Alright, man, where at?"
"A little bar near that liquor store."
"Oh, you're still there?" you text.
"Unfortunately, yeah," he responds.
"Forte, want to grab a drink with a friend of mine?" you ask.
"I would, but I've got work again. I'll send you on your way, though." He does so. You walk in, find Huey, and sit to his right. June sits to yours.
"What's up?" he asks.
"Not too much," you say. "Just got back from Russia."
"Damn, you're all over the place. Wish I could travel."
"Why can't you?" you ask.
"Uh... well, I guess I really can, now. I just don't have a lot of money at the moment."
"Damn. Too bad you'll be spending so much on our drinks tonight," you say with a grin.
"Well, I owe you." The three of you drink up for a while, shooting the ****. You keep June in on the conversation as much as possible, but she's still being shy. Things begin to quiet down for a bit, when some guy approaches June.
"What's up, beautiful? Why don't you and me go a little somewhere more quiet?" he hits, lacking any redneck accent you'd expect to find around here.
"No thank you," June says dismissively.
"Come on, baby! You look like you could use a good time. Come take a ride with me, red," he says.
"I said no," she says.
"What, you already taken or something?" June turns a shade of red and glances at you as if unsure of what to say. "Oh, I see, you're with him! Ditch this loser, come spend a little quality time with a winner like me!" He slaps June on her ass.
A. **** no. Kill him. 1. Minerva 2. Your guitar B. Kick his teeth in, but let him live. C. Tell June to kick his ass. D. Let him harass her.
You stand up and step towards the man. He panics and goes into fight mode immediately. He throws a right, which you catch. He throws a left, which you also catch. His blows are kind of soft.
"I'll ****ing kill you!" he yells. You respond with a witty headbutt to his nose. Blood gushes out into his mouth. He spits it out at you, a few teeth along with it, but you just move your head to evade it. You bring a knee up into his ribcage. It feels so soft as you hear his ribs crack. He coughs up more blood. You release him from your grasp.
"Don't touch her again," you advise. He grabs a bottle and breaks it on the table and threatens to stab you with it. You smash Minerva into his skull gently. Gently enough so that you dont make more of a scene by splattering his brain and skull fragments all over, but still enough to end his sorry life. To your surprise, the few remaining patrons just laugh or comment on how they hadn't seen a good fight in a while. Some cheer you on.
"Katsu." A mug explodes not so violently, just enough to get your undivided attention. The patrons quiet down. You turn to the bartender and owner of the bar.
"Look, now, I can understand defending a lady, and I can understand self defense, but you didn't have to kill that man," he says.
"Was an accident," you lie. "Don't know my own strength nowadays."
"Yeah well, I understand that, but I'm gonna have to ask you to leave. Don't have to go home, but you can't stay here, as they say. If you do, I'll be forced to take violent action."
A. Stay and fight the man B. Just leave. You did kill someone in his bar, after all C. Pay the man off and see if he'll let you stay
"I don't intend to leave," you say. Not that you care about leaving, but this guy is obviously worth a good soul.
"Very well. Would you mind stepping outside? Things could get... messy."
"Alright," you say, as you make your way out, June, Huey, and the bartender behind you. Phobos and Deimos are waiting outside.
"Let us begin," the man says. He forms a seal and a large machine emerges from the ground beneath him, lifting him into the sky. It was a large mechanical bird, black metal with lines decorating it, glowing with blue energy. He soars through the sky, turns around, and spits out some blue orbs at you and your group. They explode upon reaching you, but you dodge easily. One of them slipped your attention, but just dissipates in front of you. A dud, how lucky(Deimos). The bird turns around, ready for another carpet bombing. He releases more blue bombs.
A. Throw an enton spear at the bird B. Use rising wind to blow some of the bombs back into the sky at him C. Give June a lift to slice him with the electric whip D. Summon an angel E. Use Wind Dragon Bullet in tandem with June's Fire Dragon Bullet
ou create a wind dragon bullet. June follows your lead. The dragons combine and explode with energy. The newly formed projectile roars through the sky, swallowing the bombs as it goes. They explode, but it only strengthens your dragon. It changes direction and chases the bird, gaining fast. The mechanical bird vomits a smaller version of itself, and the man hops on it and takes off as the dragon swallows up the original and explodes brilliantly, lighting up the night sky. The man circles around and makes another dive. June runs up a nearby building and leaps off the wall, swinging her electric whip. The man inches forward, barely avoiding death as his machine is cleaved in half. He attempts to make a crash landing, but Phobos, now transformed, takes a massive leap, landing on the head of the bird and puts his whole body into a punch. The man is sent falling off the machine and hits the ground, the momentum forcing him to roll forward until he comes to a stop. He shakes his head, trying to keep consciousness, as Phobos falls from the sky with a huge right in the making. The man stands up at the last minute and throws a right of his own. Their fists meet, and an explosion sends Phobos flying into a nearby building. The man's arm is broken, however, and dangles at his side. You activate your enton shroud.
A. Charge in for a melee battle with the man, June supports from a distance B. Keep your distance, let June take him at close range C. Both charge in D. Both stay back
"Cover me, June," you say as you charge in with a speed burst. You suddenly appear in front of the man swinging your guitar at his head. He leaps bacl in surprise, and barely avoids the blow, but suffers bad burns on his face from being near your shroud. He sucks it up and comes in with a jab from his good hand. You duck it and the air behind you explodes. He throws several more explosive punches that you avoid expertly. Really easy with one hand. Suddenly a hound-shaped bolt of lightning maneuvers around you and tackles the man, dispersing itself through his body as he falls to the ground. You approach him as he sort of crabwalks backwards to get away from you. He bumps into a pair of furry legs. Phobos brushes the dust off of himself, otherwise looking untouched. June approaches from the man's right. He's surrounded. Almost. He makes a mad dash to his left, forming a ball of blue energy in his hand. He launches it at your group as he stumbles. It explodes prematurely(Deimos) and sends the man flying. He's out cold.
A. Give the soul to Minerva B. Give the soul to your guitar C. Spare him D. Ask your allies what they think
You're feeling merciful. Besides, he was just doing his job. You deactivate your shroud as you approach the man, crouch down, and smack him across the face a few times until he blinks.
"Welcome back," you say.
"Not gonna finish the job?" he asks.
"Nope. We still kicked out of the bar?"
"How about just for tonight? They're going to realize that guy's dead any minute, you probably shouldn't be around when the police show up."
"Damn it, I'm nowhere near drunk enough," you say.
"I'll bring you guys some more alcohol, then you need to get out of here." The man says. He shakes the pain out, stands up, and walks into the bar.
"You two make a pretty good team," Huey says.
"You think so, too?" June asks.
"Yep. Wouldn't want to face you guys. Or your dogs. Anyway, I think that's enough excitement for me. See you around," he says as he walks away with a wave.
"Thanks for sticking up for me," June says. She plants one on your cheek.
"Of course," you say. The man walks back out and hands you a 24 pack.
"There you go. They call me Blue Bomb by the way. Thanks for the patronage. And the ass whooping..."
"Any time," you say. You text Forte for a ride.
"Still at work, man. It'll have to wait a few hours," he texts.
"****, Forte's at work."
"So, we're walking home?" June asks.
"Not quite. I almost forgot about Cactus. One second." You text Cactus for a lift. He suddenly emerges from the ground.
"Long time, no see!" he says. "Oh, wow, who's this?"
"Remember June?"
"No way! How are you?"
"I'm fine," June responds shyly.
"Still shy, I see. Let's get you guys home." He puts a hand on a shoulder each and phases you through the earth. You feel the sensation again of being the land itself before emerging at Forte's house.
"Appreciate it," you say.
"Any time. Don't be a stranger," he says before sinking back into the ground. It's late, but you have drinks. What to do?
A. Just turn in for the night B. Do whatever else that isnt constructive (suggest)
"Let's drink more," you suggest.
"Yes, please," June replies. You sit on the bench and open the pack, handing June a drink before grabbing your own and downing it. She follows your example.
"I'm surprised you can drink so much so soon. You know, after what happened last time," you say.
"Yeah... I was nervous then. I think I can handle it now. Besides, if I do get sick, I know I'm taken care of."
"That's right," you agree as you down another. You give June one as well.
"I'm feeling a little hungry..."
"Me too. We'll go get something in a bit. I'm feeling Krystal burger. You good with that?"
"I dunno... never had it."
"Oh, right... well there's a first time for everything. Another beer?"
"Yes please." You both drink another. Now you're feeling great.
"Let's go! Come on, doggies."
"Doggies? I think I'll stay," Deimos says. Phobos, on the other hand, gladly hops up and follows you. You all make your way down the street in the cold night air. You walk a good ways before you come to a realization.
"****, I don't know how to get to Krystal."
"So we walked all this way for nothing?" June says with a giggle.
"Maybe, maybe not. We can't turn around, as it could be right around the corner. We can't go on, as it could be behind us."
"So we're trapped?" June asks.
"Not quite. I'll just text Forte for directions." You search your pockets. Nothing. You realize you left your phone on the bench.
"June... I've got bad news."
"What is it?"
"I left my phone at home. We are stranded."
"We've been through so much... I refuse to be defeated by a burger."
"A tiny burger at that. So... what should we do?"
A. Press on! B. Turn around and try the other way C. Don’t move. Could get lost. Wait for a passerby and ask for directions.
"I'm not sure. I'm scared," she jokes.
"Let's press on. I'm feeling lucky tonight." You stumble onward into the night. You pass by a tattoo parlor.
"June."
"Yes?"
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Wanna get a tattoo?"
"I think I do," you say.
"Remember... we're more than a little drunk. You may regret it in the morning..."
"Me? We're both getting one, sweetheart." She blushes at the pet name.
"I don't know... won't it hurt? And like I said, we may regret it." You walk up to her and brush her hair back from her eyes.
"June."
"Y-yes?" she stammers.
"We only live once. Let's make it count."
"If you want," she gives in. You feel powerful. This girl would likely do anything you want her to. Still, you respect her, but perhaps you'll test that theory later on.
"Okay, we'll talk about this on the way back. Let's find that damned Krystal burger." You continue down the street before you finally find it.
"We made it!" June says excitedly. Only the drive-thru is open. You turn that sucker into a walk-thru real fast.
"Welcome to Krystal burger. May I suggest-"
"We'll have it all," you say.
"...all, sir?"
"Everything on the menu."
"Okay, sir. It'll be a few minutes... that'll be 115 dollars and 28 cents. Come around to the first window." You do so. A homely young lady opens the window.
"Oh, wow!" you say.
"What's wrong?" she asks.
"I didn't expect to find such a beautiful young woman at a fast food joint!" you lie.
"O-oh, thank you, sir... wait a minute... you're making fun of me, aren't you?"
"Not at all! In fact, I'd love it if you would be so kind as to give me your number. Perhaps we could hang out some time."
"Really? Haven't you got a girlfriend?"
"Girlfriend? What? Oh! No, this is my younger sister," you lie. She writes her number down on a napkin and hands it to you.
"Hehe, that'll be 115 dollars and 28 cents, sir," she says. You pull out your wallet and peer into it. You've got a few hundred dollars.
"Oh no..." you say. "I've only got 50 dollars."
"Uh oh. Hold on one second," the girl says. She walks off and comes back shortly after. "Well, some guy ordered the menu earlier and drove off without paying. Now the food is past the serving time. Guess it's all yours!"
"Really now? You won't get in trouble for such a fib?"
"Who cares? I'm about to quit anyway."
"I appreciate. Expect a call from me some time." You walk up and the the other employee hands you several bags full of food. You walk by the trash can and toss the napkin with the number on it before sitting on one of the outdoor tables and pulling out the food.
"You're so sneaky," June says with a grin.
"Thanks! I hope I didn't make you jealous..." you smirk.
"Jealous of that... thing?" You both laugh as you enjoy your free burgers.
You eat about 4 meals between the two of you, leaving more than enough for Forte when he gets off of work.
"Phobos, do you eat food?" you ask.
"It's not necessary, but I wouldn't mind trying some." You toss him a bunch of burgers and he scarfs them down.
"Well, June, this is it."
"What is?"
"I promised to take you somewhere nice a while back. This is it."
"... you're serious?" she frowns. Just then, a drunk shuffles by and stoops over. He starts vomiting profusely.
"Of course not. Let's go." You take the bags and head back. You pass a club along the way. There are some guys outside yelling. It looks like a group of guys ganging up on a single one. There are six on one side. Kind of nostalgic.
"Oh, a fight," June says.
"You think I should do something about it?" you ask.
"That would be amazing. I love it when you kick ass."
A. Jump in on the loner's side. B. Jump in against the loner. C. Swing indiscriminately. D. Move along. Nothing to see here.
You run in and crow hop, blindsiding one of the guys with the world'd biggest right hook. He doesn't know what hit him. He might even be dead. The others turn to you, and the loner tackles one of the guys and starts pounding on him. One guy tries to tackle you, but you meet him with a mortal kombat style uppercut. He flies over backwards. You throw a quick left followed by a heavy right into the next guy. The others back off. You take a step towards them menacingly and they run off. Your "ally" continues wailing on his guy as you walk off without a word.
"That was awesome," June compliments.
"Why thank you." You continue down the road until you pass by the tattoo parlor.
"You still set on getting that tattoo?" she asks nervously.
"Hm... I dunno. Let me think for a second."
A. Yes, get one.(suggest) B. Drunk tattoos are bad. C. Tattoos in general are bad.
"You were probably right... this wouldn't sit well with me in the morning. Then again, if I get a good one..." June grabs you by the hand and pulls you along.
"Let's just go home," she says.
"Alright, alright."
"You'll thank me in the morning. Come on," she says. You follow her back to Forte's and grab the beer and your phone. You head inside and June sits in the living room.
"Want to watch a movie?" you ask.
"Sure!" Look at her. All cute and innocent. So excited over watching a movie with you. You look through Forte's dvd collection as devious thoughts fill your mind. You decide on 'Live Free or Die Hard'. Fun movie, yeah, but you don't intend to watch it. Not really, anyway. It would make good background noise to your true intentions. You look at June. She's beautiful, and oh so innocent. You'd take that away from her soon enough. And you wouldn't be gentle. She looks at you and smiles innocently. You pop the movie in and start to make your over to her. You're hitting that. Tonight. Just then you hear the door close. Forte's back!
"Welcome home, man," you say. "Hungry?"
"Sure am... got something for me?"
"Maybe... do you like Krystal burgers and beer?"
"I do," he replies cooly. You grab the bags and place them on the counter. "God damn! Where did you get all that food?"
"Krystal burger, of course," you say.
"You're a little drunk, aren't you?"
"I am... join us."
"Don't have to tell me twice." Forte grabs some sandwiches and downs a few beers. You sit down next to June. She smiles at you again. You were thinking something earlier. Had to do with her, you're sure. Oh well, probably just about how cute she was. Forte eventually catches up to you on the drinks.
"I've seen this movie so many times," he says.
"I'm not too big on movies, myself," you say.
"I'd rather talk with you two, anyway," June agrees.
"I have a wonderful idea. Be right back." Forte leaves the room and comes back with a box that reads "Scrabble".
He sets it up on the table and places your little "pews" in front of you. You get your letters as he explains the rules to June. You make your words until you're stumped on your next move.
"Can you use foreign words?" you ask.
"I don't know. I don't think any of us here are the type to freak out over it, anyway."
"Right. I didn't have any foreign words, anyway." You place down two letters, using an already existing 'B' to make 'BLT'. "Any objections?"
June places down some letters, creating the word 'objection'. Forte makes 'over'. You finish the word with 'ruled'.
"Well, wasn't that fun?" Forte asks, hinting sarcasm.
"Not at all!" you say. June looks a little dissapointed.
"I had fun..." she says. Forte gets up and walks towards the dvd player.
"You guys done with this?"
"Yup," you say. He turns off the tv and the the dvd player.
"I'm turning in. Night, you two."
"Night," you and June say in unison. You get ready to make up your bed on the sofa, but hatch a much better idea.
"June?"
"Yes?"
"You gonna be okay tonight by yourself?" you ask.
"I should be fine..." she says, a little disappointment in her voice. Perfect.
"Maybe we should take some precautions. You know, just in case."
"That might be a good idea..." she says, turning a little red.
"My bed is a lot more spacious," you suggest. She nods in agreement. You hit the lights and you make your way to bed, June following behind you. Before you get in, you think about tomorrow. What will you do in the AM?
A. Kill a writer B. Mass murder C. Train with June D. Sleep in. You're gonna be hung over
You pass out almost as soon as your head hits the pillow. Next thing you know, it's morning. You feel like you had a good dream, but don't remember what it was. Still, feels good, man. You try to get up, but there's something clinging to your arm. Oh, right. You think back to see if anything might have happened last night. To your knowledge, nothing did. June's eyes blink open as she takes in her surroundings. She looks at you sadly.
"Where are you going? I was comfortable..."
"You're coming, too," you say groggily.
"I don't wanna..." she whines, attempting to pull you back down. Instead you lift her up.
"I'd appreciate it if you showed me some techniques," you say. She rubs her eyes and groans. "I'll be waiting outside." You head outside and don't have to wait too long. June comes out and gives you the familiar list of choices.
"I can perform a sealing ceremony that will make you resistant to raitons again, if you want," she suggests.
"What else have you got?"
"I can teach you to create a fire hound, similar to lightning hound, but, you know, fire," she yawns.
"Go on..."
"I can still teach you steam breath, that close range technique I used on Neji, if you want. I can teach you to shoot a spray of flames in the air, which will rain down on your oppenent. Or you can learn the fireball feign. You create a fireball that seemingly vanishes, then reignites later on down its path. You can use it to bypass defenses if you time it right."
A. Resist: raiton B. Fire hound C. Steam breath D. Hot shower E. Fireball feign
"I want to learn the fireball feign," you say.
"Okay, your goal is to create a fireball that dies down to almost nothing, but still have enough chakra to spark up at will. It'll be up to you when it fades and when it comes back to life. If you keep it too strong, the enemy will be able to see it. If you make it too weak, it will be unable to reignite. Also, if you let it stay unignited long enough, it will die out. So practice getting a feel for how long you can keep it under the radar."
"Okay then," you say. She shows you the seals and you learn to blow the fireball. It flies forwards until you will it to die down. You let it go too long and are unable to spark it up again. You practice until you get the hang of it.
"Quick to catch on as usual," June says with a smile. "You can strengthen this with your absorption, but it's risky. You'll have to adjust everything all over again to match the intensity of the flame. I'd practice before trying it."
"Thanks for the help, June. I could teach you some more of what Chetley taught me, if you want."
"That would be nice, or I could take the time to upgrade one of my techniques."
"What did you have in mind?"
"Well, I was thinking I could practice releasing two lightning hounds instead of one. One from each hand. I can try to create two dragon bullets at once. If I feed your wind dragon bullet with two fire ones, it would really strengthen it. Or I can make one fire dragon bullet and one lightning dragon bullet at the same time, doesn't matter. I can upgrade my great fireball to even bigger proportions, and have it explode for splash damage."
"You're leaving this up to me?"
"You're the boss!"
A. Teach her some martial art techniques(pick one of Chetley's techs) B. Have her upgrade her lightning hound to two. C. Have her create two dragon bullets instead of one. D. Have her upgrade her great fireball to make it massive and add splash damage.
"I think you should learn to improve your dragon bullets," you say.
"Yes, boss," she says with a smile. She goes to work on trying to create two bullets. She figures it out with alarming speed.
"Damn, that was quick," you say, impressed. "Let's see what happend when we throw them together."
"I was hoping you'd say that." You both form your seals and the three dragons collide in midair. It creates a roaring inferno. Even at the distance you are, you can feel the heat. It's enough to make you squint. The dragon could easily mow through a small building. It flies into the sky and explodes deafiningly. Fire is sprayed everywhere and the wind swirls around, still on fire. It touches ground and sweeps through Cactus's woods, burning and slicing as it goes. This could get ugly. June forms a few more seals and all the fire in the nearby area suffocates. The whirlwind still persists, slicing trees into splinters. You follow suit and form the seals for taboo: fuuton, and the tornado fades into the air.
"****. Yes," you say. June stares in awe. "We created something beautiful..."
"I... I need to try it out on someone..."
"Me too. Like, now."
A. Go for Kieo B. Go for Pyro C. Find many people to use it on D. Do something else(Imma just leave this here at all times in case fighting gets tedious. You know what to do)

A CYOA

You text up all your homies to see if they know of any stuff going down. You see the air distort near June as the masked man swirls into Forte's back yard.
"Hello there, my friend," he says.
"Been a while," you reply.
"I came to warn you about your enemy, RighteousTip. I believe he's getting brave again..."
"That's fine. I'll **** him up this time," you say with confidence. "And if I don't, June will."
"Ah, June, huh? Nice to meet you," he greets.
"Hello," June replies.
"So, when can I expect a visit from him?" you ask.
"Any day now... do what you have to do to prepare. You may see him as early as this evening..." With that, he swirls away.
"Huh, **** just got real again. You ready, June? This guy's no joke."
"I'm with you until the end," she replies without hesitation. Her gaze is pretty fierce. You've definitely got a good friend here. Just then you get a few texts.
A. Cactus' girlfriend has been kidnapped by a Guerrilla unit. Are you a bad enough dude to save her? B. Dragon and Shadow are taking it to a group of assassins. Help them out? C. Huey is being attacked by voodoo headhunters in Nawleans! Can you handle the districts(again)? D. They restocked that prison nearby. Throwback to the beginning?
"Hang tight, Cactus," you text. "I'm on my way."
"...what?"
"Oh, right. Come get me." Cactus rises from the earth and quickly drags you two back down to South America. What a guy named Cactus is doing living down here is beyond you, though he is a Mokuton user so it makes sense in that regard. He takes you to a small town run by a bunch of gun wielding dudes in camo.
"This is it..." he says. "Cause a distraction, and I'll slide in and grab her."
"**** a distraction. We're gonna kill every last one of them." There are a **** ton. You look at June. She stares back anxiously. She wants it. You give it to her. You create the wind dragon bullet, and she feeds her fire dragon bullets to it. It roars furiously as it heats up the sky. The men start shooting at it, but that doesn't do them any good. It roars through, catching men on fire and lopping off arms. It explodes in the perfect place so as now to kill anyone, but to send as many people as possible flying. You need their souls, after all. They all run from the flaming tornado as it twists about their little village. Most of the run your way. Mistake. You activate your speed burst and start mowing through the soldiers. A high pressure flame jet cuts a swath through your enemies as you fight, cleaving through several enemies at once, sucking up their souls as you go. June continues to support you with a variety of long ranged attacks. As your speed burst diminishes, the enemy turns their eyes towards you. They begin to aim, but you summon the Gates of Hell. A huge gate, black with a golden trim and decorations depicting many sins, rises up from the earth. The bullets flatten against it and fall to the ground. The ground begins to rumble as a thick forest creeps up around the survivors, trapping them with vines. Cactus rises from the earth next you, a beautiful dark haired, tan skinned woman in his arms. She was unconscious. Looks like she was beaten.
"Thanks a lot," he says. "I owe you big time."
"No problem. I'll make these ****ers pay, don't worry." You make your rounds, bashing in skulls, until finally every last one of them is dead. June makes her way over to you and sits down with you as you meditate with Minerva. You appear in her world again.
"My friend!" she says excitedly. "We've passed the 800 mark!"
"Yeah, congrats. It's almost time," you say. "You lucked out, I had a lot of experience stealing souls from busting out June. It's going much faster for you."
"I can't thank you enough..." she says.
"You don't need to thank me at all. We'll just be happy to have you out of here. Especially Forte," you add.
"Really?" she says with a big smile.
"Really. So, let's get down to business."
"Right! First, we have our earthen techniques. I can teach you to summon Gaia, the protector of the earth. I can teach you an Earthen Aura that kicks up spikes from the earth when you swing, or an aura quakes when you land a blow, numbing your enemy and throwing them off balance. I can teach the earth dragon bullet, or have Phobos learn to summon weapons."
"Hmm..."
"While you ponder those, here are the wind choices. You can summon Fujin, a god of wind. You can learn to sling a blade of wind when you swing me, or learn the wind shroud, like forte has. It safeguards you from one attack, increases speed, and will interact well with your enton shroud. You can learn to creat a kazekage bunshin, increasing your total clone limit to 3."
A. Summon Gaia B. Earthen Aura: Rising Earth C. Earthen Aura: Tremor strikes D. Earth Dragon Bullet E. Weapons for Phobos
1. Summon Fujin 2. Wind blade 3. Wind shroud 4. Wind clone(limit 3)
"I want Phobos to be able to summon weapons, and I want the wind shroud."
"Very good choices. See you soon! Hopefully, in person."
You appear back in the real world. Cactus brings you back home, and leaves in a hurry to tend to his woman.
"How many is that now?" June asks.
"A little over 800."
"I'm excited for her," June says, excitedly, no less.
"Me too. I figure I'll take her somewhere nice to celebrate." June's expression is priceless. "Hey, I was joking!"
"Were you?" she asks cynically.
"Of course. Relax..." you say. She smiles.
"You're mean..." she says.
"I'm sorry."
"It's okay. What are we going to do next? This is it, after this, RighteousTip could show up. The big finale."
"Whatever we do, we may as well make it count. Today could be our last," you say, coming across as joking. Still though, it could be true. You're much more powerful than last time. It could go either way. If there was one thing you could do before the end, just in case, what would it be?
A. Kill Pyro B. Kill Kieo C. Kill a mass of people D. Other
"Let's try to get Minerva out of her prison. We'll have another ally for the big fight."
"Good idea. Look... I believe we can do this, but this is beyond anything we've done before. In case we don't make it back, I just wanted to say..." You interrupt her with a kiss. She locks up in surprise at first, but returns it when she gets her wits about her.
"We'll be fine. Don't start doubting me now," you say.
"Y-yeah... I'm sorry."
"Alright, let's get this out of the way." You text Shadow to see if he's still at it. He replies that his mission is over, but the enemy still remains in the area. He gives you the coordinates and you head inside and call to Forte.
"Need a lift again," you say.
"Sure thing." He sends you on your way. You find yourself in the same valley where Forte and Giga fought a while back. There's a new set of buildings there. They look like temporary homes at best, but there are a lot of them. There are a few shady looking characters burying some of their own. You interrupt their burials by charging in and smashing their skulls in. Some of them peek out of their tents. You kill them too. June runs through some of the tents and sends the occupants flying out, unconscious. You hear the 1000 plus whispers again. They keep at it as you slaughter. You can't make out what they're saying. If they wouldn't try to talk at the same time... maybe they're starving for more souls, crying out in protest as you give all of them to Minerva. Who knows. Finally they die down. One voice continues to whisper.
"Reaching a consensus," it whispers. You don't hear the voice for the rest of the time. Finally every last member of their group is dead. You appear in that world again. All the candles are lit, and the mountain crumbles as the large statue comes to life. He walks to the little temple you're standing in.
"You have reached the quota, human," he says. The ground shakes just from the force of his breath.
"Yep," you reply.
"The prisoner is free. I shall assist the owner of this vessel, now. Is that you, human?"
"No, i'm not," you answer honestly.
"Very well. I shall wait for the true master. For your assistance, I'd like to reward you. I will bestow upon you a mastery of wind or earth, and all the abilities you learned along with it."
A. Earth B. Wind
"I've invested in more wind abilities," you reason.
"Consider it done. Goodbye, human."
You come back to just as Minerva jumps you. She squeezes you tight and kisses you on the cheek.
"Hey!" June protests.
"I haven't forgotten you, June!" Minerva says excitedly. She releases you and runs to June, squeezing her and kissing her cheek as well. "It's good to meet you two in person!" She goes and pets your dogs behind their ears.
"Look at the happy family!" a familiar voice calls from behind you. "Enjoy it while it lasts."
"Tips! Glad you could make it!" you say, turning to him.
"Ha, such bravado. Does your ability match your arrogant attitude, I wonder..." Suddenly he's in front of you. He throws a punch at your face. Last time, he was too quick for you to follow, and he hit like a truck. Even blocking with your guitar didn't do you much good. You catch his fist in your hand and punch him hard across his face. His head turns with your blow, but he is otherwise unneffected. He spits blood before turning to you with a smile. "Learned a thing or two since then, I see."
"Yeah, a thing or two." Tips leaps back as Junes electric whip slices through where he was a split second before. He forms a seal as he creates his five elemental clones to even the odds. He begins forming the seals and chanting. That spear again. You spit out a fireball, and the earth clone forms a seal as an earth wall rises. You fireball disappears before reaching it. It reignites behind the wall and burns the earth clone to death. June engages one of the clones in taijutsu, while Phobos engages another with a massive sword in one hand and a warhammer in the other. Minerva sends an earth dragon bullet flying towards another. The last clone clutches his head in pain. Looks like he's fighting off a mind**** from Deimos. Tips finishes his spear and seperates from the rest of the group, and readies a throw, aimed at you.
A. Summon the gates of hell to block it. B. Speed burst into him, keeping it close range. C. Quickly summon your fallen angel. D. Form an enton spear and throw it to meet his spear in mid-air.
You quickly summon the large gate to protect you from the attack. You see the flash of light from behind the gate, and a hear a thunk as the spear collides. It actually penetrates the gate, barely, but it dissolves into nothing as the gate regenerates to look brand new. The earth rumbles as the gate descends into the earth as large beast emerges, seemingly a tag-in. It's a huge, three-headed dog, about the size of a house. It swipes at him with a flaming claw, but he dodges, forming seals in the meantime. He's distracted. You're on him in an instant, shrouded in black flames. You smash him with your guitar and he grimaces in pain. He tries to form more seals while keeping his distance, when suddenly a meteor falls from the sky, seemingly smashing him(Deimos). You know better this time, and stay on your guard. Looks like you won't have to, as Minerva is done with her fight as well. She forms a seal and slams her hands on the ground. Tips comes flying out of the earth, and you quickly follow with rising wind, launching him even higher. The fall will probably hurt, but he has time to start throwing seals around. It begins raining and thundering, the wind picks up, the ground quakes, and a sweltering heat rises.
A. Throw an enton spear at him while he falls B. Call out to June. You're about to use the wind dragon bullet C. Run under his position and wait for him to land for a homerun D. Call out to June to use her raiton discharge on him while he falls
You form your enton spear and hurl it at him. He inhales deeply, and you can see sparks, embers, wind, water, and debris enter his mouth. He exhales a white dragon that tears right through your spear and flies right for you. A rift appears before you, but can't maintain itself as the dragon approaches. An earth wall rises in front of you, followed by a lightning wall. The dragon crashes through them like nothing. You dodge to your right, but the dragon follows. Phobos leaps between you and the projectile sucking the dragon in. He explodes into countless pieces, but each one becomes a gray bird. They lift off and swirl through the air.
"I must rest," Phobos' voice whispers as the birds take off into the sky. You activate your speed burst and arrive at Tips' LZ before he does, slamming your burning guitar into him. He is sent rolling over a few yard, but he hops to his feet. He coughs up blood as you approach and engage him in cqc. He's on the defensive, but you soon break his guard and rock him several times, before hitting him again with the guitar. He leaps into a roll to the side as a large spike of earth rises beneath him. He dived as he rolls to his feet. A bolt of lightning strikes where he was, kicking up dirt in a small explosion. He struggles to stand.
"Heh... this is the problem with this combat system..."
"What do you mean?"
"It's power is limited. I've mastered every element and forced them together, but I still can't stand up to you and your friends. If you were alone, I don't know if I could win..."
"So you concede?"
"No... not quite. I've spent my time learning a new technique. I couldn't take over this realm alone..."
"This realm?"
"Ha... I don't owe you any explanation. There's only one way to stand up to the creator of this realm, and that's to become a creator myself. You'll make an excellent test drive for my yin/yang techniques," he pants. He forms a seal, and three people appear. One with thick hair, a beard, and wild eyes. Like a lion's. The other man has a cocky grin on his face. The third is a young woman. "Behold, the power to bring ideas to life! My ideas, and the ideas of others. Luckily for you, my technique is imperfect. The power of these three is only a fraction of their true power, but it should be more than enough for you."
Suddenly, time comes to a standstill. You are forcefully sucked into your guitar's realm. The reaper ignores you completely, but a thousand voices call out to you as one.
"Quite the situation you've landed yourself in, harvester," they say in unison.
"Finally, you guys start making some sense."
"We will aid you," they say.
"You want to help me? Why? I'm the reason you're here in the first place."
"The petty ways of humanity are soon forgotten after death. We hold no grudge against you. This Legion of souls will assist you against this threat. Listen, and choose wisely, living one."
"I'm all ears."
"We can aid you in summoning the Morning Star to fight against these three."
"The Morning Star?"
"The prideful one. The Light Bearer. A powerful ally."
"Oh, the seventh prince, then. Go on."
"We can aid you in summoning the Adramalech, a brutish warrior and his small team of elite warriors. He is half man, and half goat, standing a story tall."
"Continue..."
"We can also aid you personally. Choose three of the warriors you have defeated and they will come to your aid."
A. Summon the Light Bearer B. Summon Adramalech and his minions C. Summon warriors who have died by your hand(choose 3)
"I want to summon the Light Bearer," you say.
"Very well. We will assist you. We will require some chakra from you. Nothing too significant."
You appear back in the real world again, feeling minorly drained. The stormy clouds part, light peeking through. A figure descends from the heavens. He is bathed in an intense light that seems to have life of its own, branching off in tendrils. The angel has wings as white as snow and shoulder length dark brown hair. He wears nothing but a cloth around his waist, cutting off unevenly at his left thigh and below his right knee. A bright crown sits on his head, flickering at the tips like a flame. He touches down gracefully.
"What is this?" Tips asks.
"You are making the same mistake I once did, son of Adam. Smother your lust for power at once," the angel commands.
"I don't answer to you." Tips forms a seal and a barrier appears around him. Suddenly, the lion man dissapears from sight. You blink and you and all of your group are many yards back, the man standing where you once were, looking a little confused. How will you handle this fight?
A. You take Shiko, have Lucifer take Reiz, and the rest take 21 B. You take Reiz, give 21 to Lucifer, the rest take Shiko. C. You take 21, give Shiko to Lucifer, have the rest take Reiz. D. Choose any other combination.(You can divide up June, Minerva, and Deimos however you want). E. Cluster****!
"June, Minerva, and Deimos, I need you to take the girl. Lucifer?"
"Yes?" he says, very gently.
"Take the lion guy...please."
"It will be done." You point to the cocky looking one and signal to move away from the rest. He complies, and you take the fight across the small river that runs through the valley.
"Should I go easy?" he asks arrogantly. You respond by rushing him, swarming him with punches and guitar swings. He points to your guitar as if attempting to do something, but nothing happens. You slam it into his fingers and he shakes it off. He engages you in a taijutsu battle, projecting some weird chakra through his fingers when he strikes. You're not sure what it would do if he hit you, but the concentrated chakra makes it easy to "feel" his attacks. The fight becomes a stalemate and he drops back, firing a barrage of lightning bolts(the paralyzing ones, whatever it was called) at you.
A. Use your wind dragon bullet to nullify the attack as well as take him down. B. Speed burst around the attack and keep it close quarters. C. Activate your wind shroud for protection. D. Summon the gate again.
You form the seals for your wind dragon bullet one handed and fire it through the bolts of lightning. Your dragon prevails, carrying the electric energy with it as it tries to crash into the man. He dodges it barely as it tears through the earth where he stood. He readies some shuriken and throws them at you, causing them to explode into a shower of shrapnel. It's impossible to dodge them all, but the enton shrouds melts down the metal shards enough to where they don't even penetrate your skin. Stings, though. You rush back in for taijutsu. You had the advantage last time, so you might be able to force an error. He's not too shabby, but the enton shroud is doing a number on his skin. Just as you are about to land a fight ending blow, he projects a wave of energy around him, sending you tumbling backwards. It knocked the breath out of you, and you may have broken a rib. Or it's just bruised.
"Enough! I'm bored with you, bro," he says.
"Sorry you feel that way, 'bro'." He forms a force field around himself. He holds his fist out toward you with his thumb extended. He tilts it down to the ground.
"Dragonbolt GG," he says as he begins to form seals. Sounds dangerous.
A. Try to break through the shield with an enton spear B. Try to break through with another wind dragon bullet C. Activate your wind shroud and speed burst and try to dodge mother ****ing lightning D. Use Fireball Feign to bypass the shield
You activate your wind shroud and speed burst and wait. One thing you've picked up on since your training with ChetleyDew is that people tend to take a tiny breath of satisfaction when they complete their seals. It's subtle, even to your trained ears. They probably don't even realize they're doing it, but you do. Hopefully your theory holds up today. You barely make out the tiny breath and move faster then you ever have. You hear the lightning bolt and the explosion when it hits the ground behind you. Much easier than you expected.
"God damn it... it never ****ing works," Reiz says in frustration. You form two fire clones and they create wind dragon bullets. They smash the shield, but it holds up. You run in and start wailing on it, moving around so fast you can hardly keep up with yourself. Reiz just stands arrogantly, fully confident in his shield. You have just the thing for that. You intended to use it from the get-go, but didn't want to get fried. You and your clones blow a fireball each. They fade away and reappear inside his shield, exploding. Reiz suddenly emerges from the ground elsewhere, almost like he teleported. The flames are gone, but his skin and clothes are burnt pretty badly. His shield is down, as well. Your speed burst dies down, but you try your best to reach him before he finishes the string of seals he just started. Looks like another one. He completes it successfully, and a huge dragon shape lightning bolt appears from the sky. Next to it, another large, regular shaped lightning bolt. They collide in midair and the regular shaped one feeds off the dragon bolt before striking Reiz. When the dust clears, you see him unscathed, likely due to this bright shroud he now has activated. The grass around him whithers and dies. He attempts to make a move, but his legs are now trapped in some thick mud. Two earthen hands reach up from the ground and grab his. June and Minerva walk up beside you.
"We cleaned up over there, figured you could use some help," June grins.
Finish him!
A. Enton spear B. Wind/Wind/Wind/fire/fire dragon bullet with June C. Quad high-pressure flame jet with June. D. Other
1. Rewind time, watch Lucifer's fight 2. Just keep the story moving
You and your clones create a wind dragon bullet each, and June launches her two fire dragon bullets. They soar through the air a bit before colliding. You hear a massive "whoosh" as they form a much, much larger dragon. Large fireballs explode from it as it flies, and you can see the air distort around it from the intense heat.
"Son of a..." Reiz sighs.
You hear the whir of the razor wind as it collides into its target and explodes brilliantly. It's huge, and the shockwave throws you all off balance, as far away as you are. Three flaming tornadoes rampage around the area, throwing around finely shred pieces of flesh everywhere. You hear a splat as Reiz paste lands by your feet. The three of you look on in awe before you realize you have unfinished business to attend to.
"Well, it looks like you're my opponent," 21 says with a crack of his neck. He creates an army of clones, and each of them create their own army of golems. Lucifer clenches his fist and loosens it, a golden handle appearing in his hand. He reaches out with his other arm, as if offering it for someone to hold. The thousands of golems simply perish, their newly granted souls flying to Lucifers hand. He places it at the end of the hilt and slowly runs his hand outward, a blade of shining light forming as it goes. He brings the sword across his body and swings it, a massive force pushing forth. All of the clones and 21 himself are cut in half. The clones all poof away, but 21 regenerates, pulling himself back together. He summons a large blade in one hand, and creates a plasma sword with the other. He disappears and reappears behind Lucifer, readying a two handed swing. His target isn't there. Lucifer stands beside him, facing the opposite direction as if he had just swung his sword.
"When did..." 21 stops as his Wind Catcher falls into thousands of pieces, and his plasma sword dissipates. He quickly teleports away and begins summoning something. Lucifer only waits patiently. 21 pauses.
"This could only get messy for our allies," he says. "Let's move this elsewhere." He vanishes and reappears deep into the mountains. Lucifer is already there. He summons a huge lion with 11 tails. Lucifer tilts his head back and slides his blade down his throat. He removes it, and only the hilt remains. He clenches his fist and it disappears. The lion begins to glow with intense energy. Lucifer exhales a smally ray of light that quickly flashes through the lion and the mountain behind him. They begin to distort wildly, small pieces of them seperating from themselves rapidly until nothing remains. The mountain and Leo are entirely gone. Lucifer snaps his fingers and the mountain reappears instantly.
"Looks like I'm outmatched," 21 says. "However, there's always one way to level the playing field. It's why I developed this technique. The Anthem of Horus." Nothing happens. Lucifer's tendrils of light rapidly shoot forth, impaling 21 in many different places. When they retract, there is only a small piece of 21's head remaining. It starts to regenerate.
"I admire your persistance, human," Lucifer says. He grabs the chunk of flesh snd smashes it in his hand, revealing nothing when he unclenches it. He returns to the battlefield to find everyone else just beginning their battles. Perhaps "find" was inaccurate. He likely already knew.
You turn your attention back to Tips, safe in his little barrier. He doesn't look any less confident.
"You intend to come out of there any time soon?" you ask. "Gonna have to happen eventually."
"Heh, I'm nowhere near done, yet." He forms a seal and an army of people appear. You recognize each and every one of them Itachi, Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke, Nagato, every Naruto character ever introduced. You raise the dead as fodder for them to eat through to buy you time. To your surprise, an elite looking group of soldiers rise, equipped with bronze weapons and armor. They have large round shields and helmets with a horsehair mohawk. Legion whispers to you again.
"We have come to a deeper understanding of each other, and our power has increased as a result. Conserve your chakra, and let us do the work. We can now summon Adramalech with ease. All we need is your consent."
"Alright, June, Minerva, I'm going to have to hang back for this."
"We will do as you order," June says.
1. Summon Adramalech and his minions 2. Don't.
A. Have June and Minerva hang back with you, supporting your army with long range attacks. They will send their summons into battle. B. Have June hang back with you for protection. Minerva will go all out in the battle. C. Have Minerva hang back with you. June will go all out in the battle. D. Send both June and Minerva in with their summons. Call to Lucifer to defend you. E. Go without defense, leaving everyone else to fight.
