"Yeah of course, if it's okay with your sister," you say getting up
"Of course you're welcome to join us," Jamie said with a smile
"Then let's go," Lily said grabbing yours and Jamie's hand and pulling both of you towards the ice cream parlor
"Some vicegrip you got there Lily," you laugh as you feel your hand start to pulse, "You're not in the Ninja Academy are you?"
"No momma and Jamie won't let me but I'm okay with that," Lily said beginning to skip some
"How's your HOND training going Ray?" Jamie asked as Lily seemed to go into her own world
"Interesting, I feel like I'm not doing that much but I'm actually learning a lot in the mean time though it'll be a while before I can do the job fulltime," you say arriving at the parlor. You take a break from conversation to order your ice cream and let Jamie and Lily order theirs before the three of you resumed your walk
"Yeah the ANBUs are tough work too though I am enjoying it," Jamie said licking her ice cream
"Guess I can't ask you to much about what you've been up to huh?"
"You can ask I can just tell you so much without having to kill you haha. I do miss going on missions with you guys though, ANBU squads are no where as fun as the stuff we used to do back in the day."
"We never really went on that many serious missions as a group though, there was the mining town, and a couple others sprinkled in then the Chunin Exams but after that we both did our own things."
"Sad but true though the four of us were still kind of close and hey you got to go on a lone mission with Jagar that's something."
"Yeah though I didn't get to fight alongside Jagar it was a hell of a mission, and I met one of the nicest people in the world too. His name's Mithos and he has some pretty special powers."
"How special we talking between jinchuuriki to kekkai genkai?"
"I guess it's a kekkai genkai but I'm not to sure, he's not to sure either. I think the Kazekage might actually have had a meeting with him today or something of the sort which I'll probably talk to him about later."
"Is he staying at your place?"
"Yep, my mom loves him like the son she never had."
"What about you? I didn't think it was possible for Estela to love anyone more than you?"
"Haha well he cooked for her and is cleaning the house," you say as you arrive at Jamie and Lily's house
"Thanks for coming with us Ray, I'll see you later," Lily said hugging you quickly and running inside
"Well I guess this is good night," Jamie said looking from you to the house, "I guess I'll see you at the meeting tomorrow."
A: Wish her good night and go home
B: Wish her good night and go find _____
C: Kiss her good night and go from there...
D: Ask what she means by seeing you at the meeting

Yeah probably another small gap possibly since I move in tomorrow and will probably be getting all situated and what not for a day or so

Normally I wouldn't take the chance this early but this could work for 2 reasons: 1. ninjas die early so they have to seize the moment in life when they can, and 2. we're going to war, we might not have another chance when the war starts.

"Yeah," you say exhaling a quick breath and going with your impulses and slowly leaning in. Jamie doesn't move but she does react when your lips press against hers. "Good night," you say pulling back only to have her lean towards you. You quickly follow through and wrap your arms around her slowly as the two of you begin to pass the peck kissing phase and she wraps her arms around you. The two of you stay there kissing for several minutes until she pulls away
"What was that for?" she says pressing her head against your shoulder
"Because you never knows what the future holds so you need to live the present up," you say leaning your head on hers
"Yeah that's true...I should head in, Lily's probably waiting for me to put her to bed."
"I'm not stopping you."
"I know," she says as you untangle yourselves and she takes a step backwards but quickly leans in for one more quick kiss then opens her door, "Try to figure out which one is me behind the masks tomorrow. Good night."
"Good night," you say as the door closes and you hear her footsteps fade away. You stand there and exhale before turning and walking away slowly. Ray Alarn, first kiss at the age of 17, you don't know quite how you feel about that but frankly it didn't matter, you had enjoyed it, and had acted out of impulse without thinking it through quite out of character of you, you liked it a bit. Before you know it you're over-thinking things again and see you're at your front door
You open the door and walk through the house quietly, it's late and you don't want to wake Estela or Mithos up. You change and get into bed knowing that tomorrow would be a rough day most likely. Before you know it you're asleep and it's already morning. You go through your rituals getting ready and go downstairs to Mithos handing you a plate with scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast. You sit down at the table as he pours you a cup of coffee
"Ready for the gates of hell to open up?" Estela asked as she read the newspaper
"As ready as can be. Any advice?" you ask as Mithos sits down with his own plate
"Don't let them get into your head, just because their the Jounin Council doesn't mean their all that. And always remember WWED, what would Estela do," Estela said drinking her coffee
"I'm sure you'll do fine Ray," Mithos said with a smile, "Oh I got your flak jacket fixed it's sitting on the coat rack by the front door. You should get some oatmeal too since you probably won't get much of a lunch."
"Thanks Mithos," you say looking up at him as he hands you a bowl of oatmeal
A: Ask him about his meeting with Gaara
B: Finish breakfast and go straight to the meeting
C: Finish breakfast and go wander around town you have time to kill
D: Finish breakfast and look for ____ since you have time to kill

"How did your meeting with the Kazekage go yesterday Mithos?" you ask sipping at some orange juice
"It was interesting, I got questioned about my past, my powers, and why I thought the Desians were after me. I responded to the best of my ability but my memory's completely shot from up until a few weeks ago except for certain things," Mithos said not looking too content
"What did he say to you?"
"Nothing but he's interested in looking into my powers to see if they can benefit the village in anyway."
"Isn't that what the Desians were doing?"
"Maybe, I don't really know, it just so happens that I have an option in the matter and I said I'd be willing to help. The Kazekage also thinks I may be helpful as a ninja so who knows what'll happen."
"Are you okay with this Mithos? I don't know why but you seem like more a of a pacifist then anything else."
"We'll see what I can do, I feel like my powers can be developed further maybe, I had an older sister and she had similar powers and I vaguely remember her doing more than just healing with them."
"Well kids I'm off," Estela said getting up, "Mithos may I say I'm completely against this just for the fact that I don't wanna lose my amazing housekeeper."
"Haha don't worry Ms. Estela I still haven't decided," Mithos said with a soft grin
A: Encourage Mithos to help Suna
B: Discourage Mithos to help Suna
C: Question Mithos on his sister
D: Leave it at this and go
(sorry these updates are so short and shitty guys it's just I'm still adapting to college life and going out and doing stuff is a lot funner than sitting back on the computer constantly)

Sorry guys I've been busy with college and everything and getting around to updating is not working out since it's time consuming and what not. I am starting to get a handle on things so maybe just maybe I can start updating again. If not I can give you a summary of what would have happened with certain situations that were out of your hands for the most part

Sorry guys I hate to say it but I think I've come to the conclusion that at least for now I can't get real solid updates going anymore like I used to. I started to work on an update and felt like it didn't have to much essence to it or something like that. Maybe in the near future I can pick it up again but we'll see, or maybe during school breaks when I'm not running around doing 1001 things
