"Might as well go over to see the girls, then. They're probably wondering what's going on."
"Right. Follow me, then."
You both eventually reach the eastern part of town, where a huge mansion nearly rivalling the Hokage’s own stands. There’s an extensive garden around it for what seems like maybe a half mile all the way around…
“Sheesh. Makes me wonder how she pays for all of this, seeing as she’s a terrible gambler and all…”
You’re led on further up to the main gate, which opens as soon as Anko identifies herself. “On orders from the Hokage.”
“Right this way, Miss Mitarashi.”
“No need for formalities, ladies~”
The maids give a bow as you both pass into the property. You note a blonde-haired woman lying on a chair underneath a large umbrella.
“Oi, Tsunade-sama! Visitor!”
“Eh…what did I say about disturbing me, Anko…?”
“Tch. I’m always disturbing you, somehow…”
She lowers the sunglasses on her face and peers up at you from her position, her twin-tailed hair resting on her shoulders. And of course you could note other…features…to say the least.
“Might as well show your face, Hime. He’s only getting a good view of your rack at this angle, you know? Though I’m sure he doesn’t mind~”
Subtle, aren’t we Anko?
“I guess you’re right about something…for once.” She gets out of her chair with no hurry, it seems. Her grey, sleeveless blouse reveals her arms, which don’t look to be incredibly powerful, and of course her sizeable bust as well. Her hair is parted, framing her face and the violet rhombus on her forehead. She looks you over with her brown eyes, seemingly looking at someone else, in a way…
“Ah, it’s you. So, you’re his grandson…interesting.”
Huh…to have fought your grandfather, as one of the Sannin…she would have to be pretty old, but she didn’t seem like it at all. Her fair skin looked to be very soft and youthful, despite her age. Maybe a technique?
“I assume you’re looking for the ladies that are staying with me. They’re off at the library right now, back in the main part of the village. Hey…” She places both of her hands on either side of your face, turning it this way and that as she looked you over. “Something happened recently.”
“I lost the use of my jutsu.”
“…I see.”
“I’ve retrieved Lightning Element in the time since that happened.”
“Lightning, eh? How interesting…”
She releases you and thinks for a moment. “We have some time to kill before the girls return…I might be able to help you a bit, if you want it.”
“That’d be much appreciated, Princess Tsunade.”
“My, my~ Polite, too. You’re too much like that man, you know,” she says with a fond smile. “If you don’t want to do that, however, we could just talk while we waited for them to get back. It’s up to you, okay?”
---
a) Work on your techniques with Tsunade for a bit (any additional suggestions are welcome)
b) Just chat a bit until the girls get back.
c) Other.

"I think I'd like that help you were offering, if you don't mind."
"Hm. Not at all."
"One question, though. If you know about my grandfather...well, why would you want to help me?"
"That's a fair point to make. You see...I don't really have the greatest reason, if you think about it. I suppose I just want to see the world change a little. I mean, the daimyo are sitting on their asses while everything around us goes to hell. When I first fought that man, I thought that I was fighting to defend my village, and so would be fighting for my life. But after he made fools of us - with one hand behind his back, of course - I started to realize that it wasn't about us in the long run. And I think you see that already."
She gives you a smile. "So many of us, myself included, are blinded by the fog that comes about our lives, as a result of being shinobi. I think the younger generation is starting to think outside of the box, and is starting to question what this is all about. And if they choose to challenge the system at large, they'll need strong people like you to lead them."
"Okay...but why not one of your own to lead this revolution?"
"Listen, it's obvious. Nobody has more potential than you do. I think your grandfather alluded to it at some point as well, that someone beyond his level would have to make a choice in regards to this world of ours. You seem to be the one he was talking about."
"..."
"I guess you're one of those 'Children of Prophecy' or whatever that Jiraiya keeps talking about."
"Oh. Well...I guess that means I have work to do, then."
"Something like that. Anyways, come on inside. I'll give you a hand with your chakra issues."
You follow behind her and into the large house, passing several of the hired hands that kept the house clean and efficient. Must have had a lot of money or something, since there were so many people on staff, from what it looked like.
"Right in here. This happens to be my little medical facility."
'Little' seemed to be an understatement. The room was huge and filled with all sorts of sophisticated equipment, as well as different kinds of medicines, herbs being grown, and comfortable looking beds prepared. It was also very brightly lit and the walls were all white.
"We won't need anything too complicated. Just focus your chakra for me and use a nature transformation when I ask you to."
"Alright."
You do as she instructs, converting your chakra into lightning as she asks you to.
"Okay...that's fine, I think..."
"You think?"
"Yeah...listen, just do something else for me. There's a target on that wall nearby. It absorbs chakra, but as for elemental chakra, it only absorbs the chakra part and is affected by the nature it is. Since you're a lightning type, go ahead and use a distance technique."
"Okay, then..." You focus and aim a short blast at the target, watching as it was ripped apart. "Was that supposed to happen?"
"..."
"Lady Tsunade...?"
"Oh!" She snaps out of her daze. "No, it wasn't...that's really..."
"Do you know what that means, the target not absorbing the chakra?"
"It simply means that the chakra you use is converted into...controlling forces that facilitate the use of an element."
"In other words, my elemental techniques require chakra to use, but don't use chakra."
"That's precisely it. And...if you focus your chakra into various forms and manipulate it, you can create a large range of techniques that shouldn't be physically possible - this being without the use of nature transformation."
"Oh..."
"Yeah..." She looks at you a few times, still in some kind of daze over what happened. "Sorry, I'm spacing out...just that you're even beyond what I saw from that guy..."
"Seriously? I thought my grandfather did that sort of stuff all of the time."
She shakes her head. "Nothing like this. Your use of Raiton isn't simply bio-electricity, but the use of chakra to create conditions for natural electricty to be formed in an instant! That's far more powerful than anything anyone's ever seen. It seems that your ability to create techniques via chakra has been replaced by the ability to manipulate the environment on a molecular scale, or something close to that. Using that, you create techniques that seem to be jutsu, but really aren't in a sense."
"Huh. That's interesting to know."
"It changes everything about your technique pattern. I assume you were going off of your grandfather's system from before, but this is on an entirely different level. I don't...really have an idea on what to help you with, but if you have any suggestions, feel free to make them."

a) Free option.

"I guess water nature would be next up for me. It's one of the elements that I was most attuned to back before I lost my abilities earlier."
"Good choice. Follow me to the backyard, then."
You do so, noting that Tsunade's 'backyard' consisted of a huge forest and a wide open field that seemed to go on forever. The things that money could buy...
"Alright. Let's test your ability out. All you have to do, from what I can see, is manipulate the atomic structure of the atmosphere around you ."
Oh. Alright, didn't sound too hard. You focus your chakra to your hands, noting that you had to keep it all moving at a constant pace, like water tended to move about. Keeping it simple like you did for lightning, most of the time, seemed to work out well. You rake one hand through the air and notice water trailing it.
Cool.
After that, Tsunade made a large crater and asked you to fill it up with water from your insides. The properties didn't really change from when you had your old jutsu, but this time, you felt a lot more water come up with very little effort. Probably due to the chakra enhancing your natural abilities as opposed to just transforming into the element right away. The crater was filled up and then some, to Tsunade's surprise.
"Huh. Well...you're something else entirely. I think you've got this thing down, pretty much. Forming it all into an attack structure is the hard part, I bet."
"Mostly, yeah."
"Well, that'll come quickly."
"Hey, Joshua!"
You wave to Hannah as she runs towards you, catching you in a tight embrace. "You're okay, right?"
"Sort of. I lost all of my jutsu."
"Oh...that's all?"
"Yeah. You're not worried?"
She snorts at that. "Hardly. As long as you're alive, you can do anything. And I'm here to help you if need be...though I see that you don't need it all that much," she says, nodding to the new lake you had just made. "Oh, Noriko's here as well...she's not very talkative, but when she does talk, look out!"
"I seem to have become slightly more opinionated during my time with Miss Kuiper. She has had a considerable influence on my personality," Noriko adds, adjusting her glasses.
"Really? Doesn't seem that way from my end."
"I fail to see where you would be in a position to successfully evaluate those results."
"Okay...I stand corrected. Hannah, what'd you do to the girl?"
"Nothing much."
You roll your eyes. "I totally believe you. Anyways, I just stopped the Hidden Sand from starting the Fourth war recently. Or at least, Suna's Shinobi council."
"Getting desperate, are they? No doubt that Madara Uchiha will seek to take advantage, if those reports are true," Tsunade says.
"I take offense to the notion that my information is in any way incorrect or falsified."
"Sheesh...I take it back, then. Anyways, what say you all? A light lunch sounds good right about now. We could talk business over that, or...if you three would like to head over to the Hokage right now and take the lovely Anko with you - who I assume is raiding my pantry yet again - then that would be more than fine. I'd also accompany you if you wished."

"I guess we could stay here and have lunch, talk about a few things."
"Sounds good to me," Hannah says. "You're okay with that, Noriko?"
"I do not mind the idea."
"Then it's settled, then. We'll eat in the garden out front. Just wait a few moments while I get everything set up."
"I guess while she does that...you can tell us what happened, Joshua."
"Right...let's start from the top."
After a few minutes, you go over all of the things that happened while you were in town.
"Ah...so that's it. Well, at the very least, she appreciated the gesture. I know I would," Hannah says with a wink.
"It seems that Joshua has a strongly positive effect when in proximity to persons of the opposite sex. In other words, he's a hottie."
"You've got that right, sister! He's as hot as they come, you know?"
"I believe I can attest to that," Noriko says, adjusting her glasses again.
Everywhere you went...sheesh, didn't you mention that you had someone you wanted to marry? Maybe you needed a ring or something to that effect...probably wouldn't work as you intended, though. Ah, well...
"Okay, lunch is ready! Come on out!"
You three step outside to a finely crafted, buffet-style setup, with all manner of food being served by finely-dressed men and women.
"Huh...what would be the appropriate reaction to this, you think?"
"I believe it would be in the form of English slang, which is to say, 'damn!'" Noriko replies with emphasis.
"Damn...that's about right," Hannah says.
"You guys gonna admire, or eat? I mean, either's fine with me," Tsunade says playfully. "But I'm gonna go ahead and get something myself."
"Hey, hey~ I'm here, too!"
"Heya, Anko. Joining us for lunch?"
"Of course! Can't let all that good food go to waste~"
The five of you sit at a table and enjoy lunch together. From what you hear, you figure out that Anko was pretty much the Hokage's right hand, and had known him since she was an orphan in a small village. She had been tapped for her potential and came as far as she did with that and her determination to better herself. Tsunade had lost both her brother and lover in the Second Shinobi World War. This led her to push for the institution of improved medical practices and the inclusion of at least one medically-trained shinobi on any shinobi squad. Other countries followed suit, leading to what was seen as the basic 3 or 4 man squad setup in existence today.
She lamented that it took such tragic things to bring about change, but noted that perhaps that's what was needed...a sense of loss before anything could be done. Her life happened to take another drastic turn after your grandfather's legendary run through the shinobi world.
"I actually learned a lot about medical ninjutsu from him. All he did was show me one little technique, and I took it from there."
"So all it took was one thing, huh?" Hannah asks.
"That's right. One small gesture like that...those kinds of things really move the world at times."
You notice that she looks at you as she says that. Maybe a hint for the future? One never knew.

"How was the trip over, Hannah? Any problems?"
"None that I can think of. Everything went pretty smoothly. I showed that Kakashi fellow the message you sent us with, he made sure that we were taken care of and all of that. Jackson went back on his own, and we were offered a place here after Noriko gave up her information."
"Okay, I see. Speaking of that, what did the Hokage say about what you had to tell him, Noriko?"
"He plans to effectively make the Akatsuki situation one of the more discussed topics at the meeting of the Five Kage coming soon. As well as that, he wants to start a covert operation to locate and possibly destroy one or more parts of the Shadows of Iron as the meeting is taking place."
"Is he planning to do that on his own?"
"That is correct. Iron Country would not be informed of this particular operation."
"Hm. Sounds risky, but I guess I can understand why he would want to do that. Anything on those girls that were in your area that time?"
"From what I've gathered about them, there should be four in the group, but only three were present from your accounts."
"So one was missing?"
"No, not missing. That person chose not to attend for their own reasons. As for the other three; Tomoko Akabayashi, Rin Aoyama, and Nadeshiko Yamato. They are currently being hired to complete certain tasks for the Shadows of Iron, but do not have any sort of allegiance to them or their goals. The conference was uneventful as per the reports. All parties agreed to the terms set."
"That's it, huh...well, I guess this is what we're dealing with. Might as well see what we can do now."

"We should go to see the Hokage now," you suggest. "I think it would be wise to have Lady Tsunade come along with us."
"Sounds like a plan," Hannah replies. "Anything in particular you're going to speak to him about?"
"I don't know at the moment. When we get to that point, I'll think of something."
---
After about an hour, you find yourself in the spacious office of the Hokage, Konohagakure's military leader and strongest person in the village, or at least that's how it was supposed to be. There might be one or two people that could outfight him around, but that was probably speculation at this point in time. The Hokage in question was a man with long, black hair, and snake-like eyes. His skin, from what you could see of it underneath his white robes, was quite pale, probably about the same colour as his garments if you eyeballed it.
"Ah, welcome. Come by for another visit, Tsunade?" His voice is quite distinctive, almost bordering on a little creepy if you thought about it too much. At least it fit him well enough.
"Actually, I'm here on business, Orochimaru."
"...Never one for formalities, were you?"
"Yeah, you're a Kage, but I'll still kick your ass if you push me too far. You do know that, I hope."
He shrugs. "Not like I could forget."
"Hmph."
"Anyways...I see you have a young Mister West with you. Young man, you know about your grandfather, don't you?"
"Hey, who hasn't?" you reply. "Dude's famous."
"Point taken...your lovely friends here," he says while gesturing towards Noriko and Hannah, "have informed me of the goings on in Iron Country and other places. I recieved a report of Sunagakure on a mission to one of my old Otogakure facilities recently..."
"That's been taken care of, sir."
"Indeed. Neru and Kimimaro sent word about a day ago. I would like to personally thank you for your help."
"No need, sir."
"Oh, but I insist...I'll tell you what. How about you test your strength against me in a few minutes? After we're done with business, of course."
Everyone seemed to want a piece of you these days, huh...well...
"I'll think about that, sir. In the meantime, I hear that you're going to run an undercover operation to seek out and/or destroy the Shadows of Iron. Sounds a bit dangerous."
"It does sound so. But I think I've got my priorities straight on this one..."
"Thing about Orochimaru is this," Tsunade starts. "he might be an asshole-"
"I do believe that's the nicest thing you've said to me all week."
"-but he never drags his feet when it comes to the issues. You can't accuse this guy of being slow when it comes to important matters. So when he says that he's going to move on this, he will move on it within the second, mark my words."
"Hm. I guess that's useful information."

Match: 1
Operation: 1 - Konoha has strong ninja - Itachi, Minato, Spidey, Tsunade - We don't know exactly who the Shadows really have under their belt besides those 3 mysterious ninja they employed, and the fourth one whom we don't know. They are also allies with Akatsuki, who have multiple ninja of great strength. But still, I trust Orochimaru. He's an intelligent person, and very sly.
Other Information: 1. Does he know much more about the organization than Noriko does? What and where are his sources? 2. Could Joshua and Hannah accompany him to the Kage meeting. We should see our parents and grandmother and let them know we're alright. 3. What is the going to be the general topic of interest at the Kage meeting - the Moonlight alliance? 4. Ask Noriko if she can come up with a recording device/communication device/jutsu to gather the details of the Kage meeting, while keeping a low profile in Konoha.

"Sounds like a good idea, then. I'm all for it. I think you should keep it all to yourself for the time being, but if anything blows up, well..."
"Yes, yes. I know all of that already. Mere formalities in the end," Orochimaru says with a wave of his hand. "Is there anything else you'd like to ask, Joshua?"
"Yeah. How much more do you know, other than what Noriko has told you?"
"Nothing to any effect. I hadn't heard of the group before she mentioned it. However, it makes sense that we go in and get rid of them before they cause any more trouble."
"Sounds a little arrogant, if you think about it," you say earnestly.
He shrugs at that. "So be it. I tire of keeping up appearances, anyways."
"Damn, you just love to start trouble, don't you?" Tsunade asks in a huff.
"You know me well, Princess."
"That I do," she says with a smile. "If you were anyone else, I would have killed you a long time ago."
"Another question," you interrupt. "Would it be fine if the girls and I head over to my hometown with you guys?"
"Shouldn't be a problem," Orochimaru says.
"Any idea on what the topics will be at the meeting?"
"Nothing too spectacular, I presume. Rules of engagement, territorial resolutions, Akatsuki, arms regulations...all very boring things."
"Might get a little more than you bargained for, sir."
"I might. We'll just have to see about that."
"What about the new alliance?"
"Falls under the other categories. It's really more of a flag to be tripped, more or less, that alliance. Someone will certainly do something to provoke one of the countries either directly or indirectly allied with those core countries, like us for example."
Seems like Mei was right after all. It really was a tinderbox just waiting to be lit up in some way. "Anything we can do to resolve something like that?"
"Not much, unfortunately. We can see what can be done at the meeting."
"Alright." You turn to Noriko. "Is there a way that you can gather information on the meeting, somehow?"
"There is no need for such a covert operation in that regard."
"Hm?"
"I have already been hired as the official translator, recorder, and fact-checker for the Kage Summit taking place in Kennedy Port."
"Convenient," you say.
"Indeed." She pushes up her glasses.
"My mom hired you?"
"A collective decision made by the democratic council."
"Ah. Alright, so that takes care of one thing. I guess since we're done with questioning for now, we should get to that match."
"Indeed. It's been a while since I've had any exercise," Orochimaru says with a slightly creepy smile.
---
Of course, there was a huge crowd watching from a (safe) distance, with some people calling out to you (Naruto and Sakura the loudest of them) and a few higher-ups eying you with suspicion. The setting was a wide open, grassy field. Seemed to be mostly straightforward, but this kind of terrain was also very susceptible to change, which made it more layered than one would normally think.
"Are we ready?" Tsunade asks you both.
"Ready over here," you say.
"I see no reason to delay this any longer."
"Good. Let's get it on!"
Fighting a Kage...hm. First option was...
Never mind that. He was already rushing you from one side, no two sides. Nope...all four sides now. Shadow Clones? Likely.
No real time to think too deeply on what you wanted to do.

a) Go offensive
b) Stay defensive
c) Try to balance things out

d) Jutsu 1. Gospel of Thunder - All purpose lightning style technique. Customizable bursts of lightning for any situation. 2. Lightning Cannon - Configured for high damage. Compressed blast of lightning along 'lanes' set up by the user in instants. 3. Thunder Drop (air) - Wide, area of effect attack. The user hits the ground and sends out a powerful burst of electricity along it in a circle. 4. Gospel of Water - All purpose water style technique. Variable torrent of water shot from the mouth. 5. Wave Strike - Water-enhanced physical attacks. Can be added to punches, kicks, etc. 6. Water Release: Aquatic Slug - Powerful, compressed blast of water shot from the mouth. Can be charged up for more power.

C vote D - Thunder Drop to determine who the real one is. Then get in close and add Wave-Strike to our taijutsu. Orochimaru isn't a taijutsu specialist from what I've seen in the manga/anime. I assume that'll be one of his weaker points, though he's tricky with his ninjutsu. We may have to stick to a balanced plan before we go out on total offense.
