Ryuuenjin means "dragon flame blade". I'm not sure she should block this attack. But she should counter it.

Steeling yourself, you move your hands into a flurry of seals, all of them coming to you nearly automatically...the flames gather in the bottom of your stomach, and you push them out through your mouth in a great ball of flame. Atsui's blade starts to rip into you, but the flame is gone, swallowed up by your own as the fireball slams into him point-blank and sends him flying backwards once more. The explosion of flames throws you backwards a bit, and you struggle to regain your balance as you hold your right side in pain. Blood drips down your leg freely.
That was too close a move...he's more than likely finished after that last attack, though you wouldn't be surprised if he managed to get up once more.
You note him stirring ever so slightly, and curse yourself silently for that bit of bad luck. But at the least, you could finish him off as well, if needed. The fighting was stil going on between Musei, Aoi, and Darui. That explosion of light from earlier still chilled you a bit...you again worried for the safety of your comrades.
For a moment, what looks like steam comes from your lips as you breathe out. Though...that didn't make sense. No, that was condensation...maybe a cool wind passing by. Probably nothing. Possibly something.

Use him as a hostage to get Darui's attention, and then kill him and throw his body at Darui to distract him and attack.

A distraction...that would be useful for the time being. The guy still had his uses in that condition he was in. You move towards Atsui and pick him up by his neck, dragging him along the ground towards where your comrades were fighting. That chilly feeling comes back to you again, and you stop for a moment, noting frost creeping up your legs. That didn't seem good. You leap out of the way as several sharp blades of ice shoot upwards from the ground beneath you. Atsui is still in your grip, but there's another problem at hand as Samui begins to stir, somehow, her icy hand clawing into the earth. As much as you didn't want to, you probably had to kill them both here and now. The ice slowly starts to surround you once more, and you move swiftly away from it again... "Yuki!" Aoi's voice reaches you a moment too late, as several beams of light slam into you and throw you into the ground, causing you to lose grip of Atsui. The stinging wounds from earlier burn even more painfully as new ones open up alongside them. You struggle to rise again as Darui swings his sword at you from mid-range. Musei plays his zither quickly to counter, but Darui sweeps his foot backwards with a single handseal and creates a wall of water at his back, cutting off Aoi as she comes in as well. " Raiton: Denharei!" With his one free arm, a crescent-shaped wave of energy shoots towards you out of his swing. Looked like you were in trouble again... --- Style > lright

Fighting through the pain, you make a handseal and gather water to your mouth before firing it out as a counter to Darui's earlier attack. The two energies collide in mid-air and cancel each other out, and you quickly run through the area towards Darui, your sword already pulled back for a strong strike. Metal clashes against metal as you slash over and over again at his guard, trying to force him back or even off balance if it was at all possible. He forces a water wall in between you for a moment before thrusting through it. You parry it and slash through the water wall while revving the engine of Red Queen, causing the hot blade to evaporate the water as it powered through it. He's retreated to another position, this time in between both Samui and Atsui. Thinking on it, you realized that he wasn't planning to fight all of you at once. No, he was most likely going to stall for time. There must have been some sort of signal sent up by now, and if not that, then the signs of battle would be enough of an alert for their allies. Darui's hands go through the motion of seals and he finishes by clasping his hands together in front of him, like he did with that earlier attack that hit you. This was an odd chakra nature...you had heard about it, though. Ranton (lit. Storm Release), which was a bloodline limit like your Futton. It looked to be pretty flexible, so he could just stand there and attack from many angles at once. "Are you alright, Aoi?" you ask. "Mm...more or less," she replies non-chalantly. "He had an answer for whatever Musei and I could throw at him. Also, that kekkei genkai is quite flexible. He's a polite person, as well...perhaps if we had met in another time..." "I feel the same way, Aoi." Darui could pose a problem to you and your team later if you ran into him again, which was likely on this mission. However, sticking around and fighting could lead to more problems than it solved. Getting deeper into the country was one of the things that you'd like to do...it led you one step closer to your mission goal. And more importantly, to... You shake your head of the thoughts clouding it up, and focus on the task at hand. --- Style > lright

a) Stay and fight off Darui's group. There may be reinforcements to deal with as well afterwards.
b) Ignore Darui's group and go right at the reinforcements before they can register you three.

Samui's in critical condition from the last move you pulled on her, but still alive. Atsui is pretty much out of it but still alive as well, though in a bad way. Darui's the only active person at the moment. There wasn't a decision either way on what to do with Atsui, so that's why he's still around. As for Samui, that Suiton took her out but didn't quite kill her.

"Aoi, Musei...it might be best for us to leave as quickly as we can. It seems as if trouble is headed our way."
"I agree," Aoi responds. Musei nods to that as well.
"Good. Then let's move on and continue our mission." Musei starts to play a song on his zither, creating a wall of flame in the space between yourselves and Darui. He stays in his position as the three of you shoot past him and into the forest ahead.
---
After a few hours of movement, you all take some time to rest and recover the strength you had lost from the earlier battle. Aoi insisted on trying to tend to your wounds, even though you said that she should check herself over first.
"I don't have anything serious, Yuki. Please, lie down and let me tend to you."
"What about Musei?"
He signs out that he's fine before going back to his playing. You sigh and lift your shirt so that Aoi can clean your wounds.
"Pants, too."
"Aoi, be serious for a moment," you groan. She wags her finger at you.
"No buts. I won't have you moving about with your clothes like that. I'll wash them in the stream nearby. Musei, you come over here as well and give me your clothing."
He rolls his eyes and reluctantly moves off to shed his clothing. A few minutes later, Aoi is singing to herself while washing up, while you and Musei respectively wait in your underwear. He's giving you an odd look, too.
"What...?"
He signs something out that makes you hit him on the shoulder. Hard.
"The hell do you mean by that, Musei...got a problem with stripes? You're one to talk anyways, Mister Flamboyant."
He shrugs and gives you a smile before going back to his zither. Smug bastard.
At the very least, it was warm so you didn't mind being out half-naked in the woods...as odd as that sounded. The night goes by, and the three of you sleep soundly, taking turns on watch as required. The next morning, your clothes are neatly stitched up and remarkably clean as you put them on. They even felt a bit softer as well.
"Thank you, Aoi. It was very nice of you to do that for us both."
"It's no problem, Yuki. Just because we're out in the rough doesn't mean we have to live like animals, right?"
"Right. Well, let's get a move on."
---
The next few days were mostly uneventful as you three navigated the mountains of the Lightning Country. Other than the storms, nothing really slowed you down in terms of progress.
"Where's the place we're headed again?" Aoi asks.
"Unraikyou."
"Ah, I see. Sounds like an interesting place."
"It might very well be something like that," you reply. "There have been reports that the supposed Leaf prisoner is being held there."
"Why there, though? Why not a normal prison like all of the other people they'd capture? Or even...why not..." She falls silent and comes to a stop behind you. "I mean...they could have..."
"Aoi, I know. But we have to have hope that this isn't the case. Especially if it is Izumi..."
"I know...but even so, it could be for the worst...there would be heavy guard out there if it's a prisoner from the Leaf," she says solemnly.
"That's true. I wonder just what they have planned. In any case, we need to extract the target...I mean, whoever it might be, and get out of there quickly."
"Agreed. We can do damage control later, I think." She takes a deep breath. "I suppose that it's time."
"Yeah..."
Reaching Unraikyou, your group takes to searching the various crevices and caverns that exist within the area. The sound of soft breathing in a certain one causes you to stop and signal the others to your position. You eye each other and make sure everyone's ready before moving inside, a ball of flame in your hands lighting the way. From there, you can see someone chained to the wall at the back of the cave, their arms and legs shackled in heavy iron.
Aoi moves forwards as if on autopilot. Musei gives you an 'all clear' sign; he had made sure that there were no traps in the cave beforehand.
"Onee-sama...what have...what have they done to you...."
The hair that once had a glossy sheen to it was now frazzled and dull. Her turquiose eyes were opened just barely, enough to see how they had been dulled from what they once were. Her healthy frame was withered almost beyond recognition from what you knew it to be...the woman that had been like a mother to you...no, she was your mother. Nothing less than that, given what she put into raising you.
"You're not supposed to be like this," Aoi says gently, her eyes welling up with tears. There were those rules when you were on missions, but sometimes, you just couldn't help it. You wanted to cry as well, but...at least two of you had to be alert.
"...You...are..."
"Onee-sama?"
"...I can't recall anything...it's so dark..."
"I don't understand...what do you mean? There's so much light here."
"It feels so familiar...but it's all black..." Her voice is so frail...and why does she keep saying that...
No, they couldn't have...! Not that!
"Izumi...?" you ask tensely.
"Mm...how is it that I feel like I know...but..."
You hold the light up to her face. She doesn't flinch, or anything...not even blinking at it.
"It's warm...what is it..."
At that point, you hear someone take a step into the cavern.
"Looks like you stumbled onto my crib! But if y'all take a listen, I won't be bustin' yo rib! Ye-ye!"
A large, well built man with dark skin appears before you. He has a tattoo on his left cheek and one on his shoulder, along with seven swords from what you could count on his back. He has cornrows (if you were correct in that) and wears dark sunglasses. Loud and flamboyant...this wasn't the time for such nonsense.
Even ignoring him, you could feel yourself start to burn up in anger. Doing that to Izumi...that was...that was...!
You can feel your teeth start to grind together as you face the man down. Everything was welling up inside of you, and you didn't know what to do...
---
a) Let your anger explode! Attack the mystery Kumogakure shinobi!
b) No time for anything else! Make a quick getaway with Izumi in tow!

"Okay...I'll listen to you."
"Righteous move, sista!" He walks up to Izumi and removes her shackles, tearing them apart like tissue paper. "Izzy-baby! How ya doing?"
"Ah, Mister Bee...I'm fine, thank you. I hope you've been having better days."
"Ain't no thing for me, the rappin' Killer Bee. Check it, I'm about to set you free."
"Is that so..."
He helps her to the outside of the cave while your group follows. "Everything should be good in a moment...here ya go." Placing a hand on her forehead, you can see her eyes start brighten. She blinks a few times, adjusting herself to her surroundings.
"It's been a while...I can finally see again." A look of confusion is on her face as she takes note of you three. "Somehow, I know these people...how is that so?"
"Onee-sama, you don't remember us?" Aoi asks.
"...I'm sorry, but I don't. You all feel so familiar, but I can't say how that is, either."
"I'm thinkin' that she's got a memory block. Now that stuff, it don't rock," Bee said.
"Is there any way to remove it?" you ask.
"You're from Konoha, yeah? No doubt you've got some funky-fresh specialists all up in there, they should be able to bust her out."
"You're helping us...why is that?" Aoi asks. "We're the enemy, aren't we?"
"Hm...that's true. But that don't make things like this right. Besides that, Izzy needs to go back and get the word out about what's goin' down lately. She got shipped here in pretty bad shape, and my bro made me her keeper until further notice. Well, this be further notice, man. Ain't you the White Devil, though?"
"Yes...that's what they call me," you reply.
"There's a lot about yourself you probably don't know. But right now, there's a lot of stuff I can't show, you know? You have to make your own way to go, and find your flow, fo' sho'! And after that, you'll be ready to blow, yo."
"A lot about myself...that I don't know?"
"You and me...we've got a lot in common, believe it or not. You just gotta explore a bit more to find your answers..."
"..."
"Yuki...we should go, now. Onee-sama is with us again, so we can head back to the village," Aoi says. "And...thank you for taking care of her, Mister Bee. If we weren't enemies...actually..." Aoi reaches into her pack and presents a package to Bee. "Here, it's one of my bentou. I'll just go without today."
"You don't need to, ya know."
"I insist...it's my way of showing my gratitude. I hope that one day, we can all meet again as friends. But until that time, farewell for now," Aoi says, bowing deeply. "Thank you again."
So many thoughts, running through your head at this time. Bee was saying that there was a secret about you, and a rather big one that could change who you were and what path you took. Was it possible to learn more...?
However, you also had the current mission at hand to worry about. The safety of Izumi and your team came as a priority.
"Y'all should get a move on, yo."
You take a look at Bee, coming up with an idea or two if you needed him. Otherwise, you could get by on your own merits just fine. Guessing at what happened earlier, there were probably pursuers on your tails by now. Then there was the fact of those battles...it could very well be that those people were friends or comrades of Killer Bee's and he wouldn't take too kindly to having them hurt like they were...did you tell him what happened, or did you keep it silent? Maybe he didn't need to know, but...
---
a) Leave the area quickly with 1. Everyone moving as fast as they could out of the area 2. Yourself creating a distraction for the others as they escaped
b) Move slowly and stealthily, trying to avoid pursuers and fights
c) Ask Bee for the best course of action

1. Talk about what happened earlier with Darui's team
2. Keep it quiet, he didn't need to know about it

"Before I go, I wanted to say something to you, Bee."
"Go right on, sista."
"On our way here, we ran into some of your comrades, and...what happened was that I pretty badly injured two of them. I can't say that I wouldn't do it again, because this mission was so important that I couldn't fail it. That's all I wanted to tell you."
"Hmm..." He strokes his chin for a moment before nodding. "I guess that does sound pretty rough, but I realize that being a shinobi's tough."
"..."
"So...I gotta give you mad props, yo! It takes a lot of heart to keep it 100!" He extends a fist towards you.
"You're not mad?" you ask.
"Ain't no thing. Besides, you didn't do it for fun, you were trying to save a special someone! Gotta do what you gotta do, for someone so close to you! Aw yeah!"
Actually understanding your feelings like that...what an amazing person. You can't help but smile before bumping your fist against his in earnest.
"Thank you..."
"Word to the hizzouse! If we had more people like you, Yuki-baby...this world would be so funky-fresh and clean, bla-dow!"
"I want to become Hokage one day soon. So...I'll try and make it happen. Until then, stay safe." You signal Musei to make his move, and he plays his zither, starting up a sound-based genjutsu that seems to catch Bee off-guard for a moment.
"Gonna take more than that..here comes the Eighth, yo!"
A shroud of chakra starts to form around him, but...
"Sorry...you're a bit too slow here." You've already sped behind him and hit him in the back of the head with the flat of your sword. He goes down to the ground and gives you a thumbs-up before losing conciousness completely. You'd have to thank him again later for going along with your little diversion like that...
"Musei, Aoi. Take care of Izumi and go on ahead. I'll stay back and draw the enemy's attention for the time being. Please go on as quickly as you can, alright?"
"Yuki..." Aoi suddenly squeezes you tight in a hug. "Be careful. Make sure you come home to us..."
"No need to worry, Aoi. I'll be right behind you." You nod towards Musei, who nods back as you give each other a passing high-five. "See you soon, Musei."
"Yuki, make sure that you take care of yourself," Izumi says. "I think a lot of people would be sad if something were to happen to you."
"Don't worry, Izumi. I'll be careful."
"Good," she says with a familiar smile. "Then we'll see you later, okay?"
"Okay...!" You take off with her words ringing in your ears. If you weren't mistaken, the brunt of the forces were coming from the northeast, which was behind your group. There were also some enemies ahead to the south. Hm. It would be best to take the northern route, then.
A platoon seems to be headed towards your location quickly. You head forward to cut them off before they can cause the others any trouble. It was just you right now, but that was more than enough to settle this...

You make several handseals as you close in on the large number of shinobi ahead of you. Kneading chakra in your stomach, you expel it in a massive wave of water, flooding the entire area for some distance ahead. The violent waves make water-walking difficult, so you've bought some time for yourself and the others. You turn and run back the other way, having completed at least part of your job for the time being.
After a few minutes, you can spot the group just at the limit of your vision, but there was something heading towards them. Putting on more speed, you rush to head it off and draw Red Queen at the same time.
"Here goes...Flame Release: Great Fireball Jutsu!"
Your aim is true and the fireball heads towards its target, stopped only by a wall of water that rises up in front of it. From what you could see, there was more than the one person in your vicinity. Darui was who you assumed to be ahead of you. From the left, someone with blonde hair and a frame that didn't suggest a capability for physical engagement, at least from what you could gather. Probably a genjutsu type...? Another two people were cutting in on your right from behind you, one of them a serious-looking kunoichi with her hair tied back and red beads around one of her arms.
It probably wouldn't be feasible to fight all of them, but you understood that leaving too many of them free might put your friends in danger. Darui was clearly headed for your location, the genjutsu guy was probably waiting for your move, and the kunoichi seemed like she could shoot past you if things looked to be taken care of. Again, there wasn't much time to make a decision, so you had to be quick as well as precise.
Taking a deep breath, you mull over your current options for the last time.

Penguin, if you're going for an "attack all of them and escape" option, why not go for skilled mist? It'll cover a broader range and is fairly destructive.

Measuring the range between yourself and your targets, you think of using Futton: Critical Stream, but decide against it for the moment. The technique wasn't broad enough to use against more than one target at a time, maybe more if they were in close proximity. But there was way too much space for that to work out.
All three of them continue closing before Darui stops for a moment, making several hand seals before clapping his hands together.
"Ranton: Rekkouha!"
That again...? Didn't look too good from where you were standing. The blonde wavy haired shinobi and the kunoichi take wide arcs away from your position. Darui punches the ground below him, and the clouds above you begin to give way for his attack.

"Boil Release: Skilled Mist!"
Come on, come on...! It wasn't reaching them fast enough!
The beams of light shoot down from the sky, and you raise Red Queen just in time to block one of them as it hits you full force. Your body goes through several layers of rock before finally stopping, giving you a chance to gasp in pain.
"Ugh...! That was a mistake..."
You're seriously bruised up, now. Those guys were probably coming for you, too.
You hop out of the crater you unwillingly created and lock blades with Darui as he swings at you.
"So, it's me and you again..."
"Yeah..."
No choice left but to take this guy out, and then go after the others. It would be hard, but...there was no turning back now.
