Wow. Figured out two good pieces of information there. Madara isn't the Akatsuki boss supposedly. Maybe he's still known as Tobi? AND.... Hannah is a blonde. I kind of figured she was a brunette. Hm...
Clown, I kind of figured we'd pursue them. But I'm open to your opinion. I don't know what intelligence they gathered on us... But maybe we could take one of them hostage with Supermax (most likely Haku or Zabuza). But we need to get to their location quickly. I wonder how we could get rid of the mist? Hm....
Thanks for the update, Forte.

I almost changed her to a brunette just for balance (since Cadence is a blonde) but eh. Her hair's smooth and straight as opposed to Cadence's messy and wild style, so that's contrast enough I guess.

I'm saying b. I dont think the pursuit is necessary

Sure it's not NECESSARY. But I think we could get more information than what Haku gave us. Let's capture him with our Supermax ability. All we have to do is clear out this mist. What technique could clear the mist (essentially water)? Wind and possibly fire. As soon as I get home, I'm voting for a massive wind jutsu to clear this mist. I'll look in the databook, but hopefully Hannah or Cadence have a massive wind jutsu.

I haven't updated the databook besides Valerie's stuff yet, but it's safe to assume that Cadence has new jutsu (she just used one) and Hannah has some new stuff. She does have a wind affinity mostly because of her area of expertise.

Alright, I guess we can pursue them, especially if Uncle Luke comes with us. He's a badass

Wait. We haven't discussed what jutsu to use to get rid of the mist...... I'll edit this post... I'm looking through the databooks.

Hm. If you're worried about a jutsu, I can handle that for you during the update.

A - Pursue / D - Lightning Armor (to full) > Amp Up > Volt Ride (focus on increasing the static electricity of the misted area) > Supermax: Solitary Confinement on Haku or Zabuza
I researched a little and discovered that the higher the static electricity, the lower the humidity. Mist/Fog is essentially visible humidity. Take away the humidity and we take away the fog.

I figured you would. No need to overly complicate things, Vegeta.

Alright, I'll go on ahead. Although I wasn't even readily thinking of static electricity and humidity...the more you know, I guess.
Oh yeah, and Amp Up with Lightning Armor already on is kind of redundant. Unless you're interpreting my databook description in some way that I overlooked.

I may have made a mistake. Humidity affects static electricity... Not the other way around. I guess I should have went the heat route or wind route. I'll keep researching... But I don't want to delay the update. Go for it, Forte. EDIT: It seems that further research confirmed my worry. Dang it. www.livescience.com/environment/060417_MM_static_electricity.html

I guess I really only seek knowledge that applicable to my areas of interest. In this case, it's "Sucker Free."

I'm pretty interested, too. You know, you might be the force behind my quitting the CYOA the first time. All those super votes left me wondering wtf was going on and I was just like "eh" since I thought the voting process was ridunk.

"We're going on ahead. Might as well get some more information if we can." You reactivate your Lightning Armor and move forward into the mist while making a few seals.
"Lightning Style: Volt Ride."
You stretch one hand forward as you run, creating electricity throughout the area. The mist soon starts to disappear, and you catch the three Akatsuki members moving off into the distance.
"Getting away...not like that, you aren't." You put on an extra burst of speed as you shunshin towards them. The others trail a few yards behind you.
Suddenly, you see Kisame stop and place his hands on top of the water. What was...?
You find out not a moment later, as thousands - if not millions - of water sharks race towards your group.
"Well, this is definitely gonna slow us down," Luke comments.
"Maybe if you had put away that toy of yours and fought seriously from the beginning, we wouldn't be in this position, 'Diamond Cutter'."
"Sheesh. A bit uptight, aren't we?"
Hannah sips the last of her martini and tosses away the glass. "I'm quite relaxed, actually."
"Well, I guess that's good. I wouldn't want to be around the 'Golden Shinigami' if she was pissed off."
"Addressing me by that name? Hm. I'm not looking for blood just yet."
"Well, as the wind changes..." Luke takes up a stance and grabs hold of his katana again.
"I suppose I should take my own advice and get serious..." One of Hannah's arms starts to spark up with energy, and she flicks her wrist, summoning a sword to her hand. It has a relatively large blade, just about the size of Kisame's, and has black and yellow lines alternating and running diagonally along it. The hilt is made of some kind of crystal, you figure.
"Haven't seen that thing for a while."
"I could say the same...I haven't used it for a long time, it seems." The sharks get within range, and you start to brace yourself.
"Are we ready?"
"I guess," you say as you ready a Lightning Cutter in one hand.
"Yeah, let's go," Cadence says.
You all rush in, and it seems that there were even more sharks than you thought. You cut through as many of them as you can with your jutsu, but even with your extra speed and cutting power, you realize that you're not getting where you need to be fast enough. The dodging didn't help matters. Luke and Hannah handle the sharks with ease and try to cut a path open for someone to get through, but more and more sharks get into the openings.
"Everyone, get clear!" You hear Cadence shout above the chaos as she jumps into the air, a ball of brightly burning fire chakra in one of her hands.
"Here it is...! Fire Style: Little Boy!"
Crap. That was the same technique she used earlier. You up your jutsu to its White Rush version and hurry yourself out of the area as the chakra ball hits the water in the middle of the swarm. You're thrown off of your feet and have to scramble to stay on top of the water as the technique explodes violently, throwing water up high into the air and strong waves from the blast centre.
The sharks were gone...but so were the Akatsuki.
"Damn..." You run back to the group. "Well, it wasn't our day today. Maybe we'll get 'em next time."
"Probably. I'm guessing they were after you, Josh," Jake says while lighting up his pipe again.
"Yeah...but there are just some things that I was confused about. Guess that'll have to wait. But, Cadence...damn, that's one hell of a move you've got there," you say, still feeling the water falling from the sky after her attack.
"I guess...I think I messed us up with that, though. Put too much power into it, and you guys couldn't go forward."
"Don't worry about it. I don't think we would have caught up after that diversion, and you got us out of trouble."
"I have to say, I'm impressed, Cadence."
"Thank you, Hannah. You're pretty awesome, yourself."
"I didn't do that much, honestly...but I'm happy to recieve the compliment."
"Might as well get ourselves back to the ship, then." You all follow Luke as he heads back the way everyone had come. After a few minutes of running, you run up the hull of the ship and vault over the railing onto the deck. Loud cheers and clapping enter your ears as you walk around.
"What's all this?"
"People are talking about what we just did out there. Seems like a few of us are well known," Cadence says. "I also heard about the captain wanting to speak to you some time soon."
"Figures. I think that captain knew a bit more than she was letting on..."
"She?"
"Yeah. Uncle Luke told me that the captain was female, and that she knew him from somewhere."
"Ah, I see. That's something to think about then, yeah?"
"Yeah, something to think about."
"The captain wants you to meet with her for dinner, Joshua...though she understands if you're a bit tired and would like to put off the meeting," Hannah says.
"Well, I'm curious about her, so maybe you could meet with her and get us a scoop," Luke says.
"Just Joshua and her? Wonder what it's about," Cadence ponders. Well, maybe you could take her along with you. Or the entire group, even. Couldn't be too hard to make a request like that.
---
a) Have a one to one with the captain.
b) Take someone along with you. (Choosing more than one number is possible) 1. Cadence 2. Hannah 3. Luke
c) Eh...you're not up for it today. Maybe sometime later.

I think I actually took advantage of Forte's voting system more so than submitting to his intended use of it. I think I figured it out, so I'll try to make the voting process seem more simple, I hope.
He divides his votes into several parts, but he uses the same kinds of notations, like uppercase letters. His battle choices are fairly simple now that I look at it.
He either has an A or B choice that relates to plot. Then he has a C, D, or E choice that relates to actions/jutsus. Of course, they have to be reasonable. C is usually just one jutsu. D is a chain of attacks/jutsus, but the enemy has an opportunity to dodge/counter/etc. In addition, when you pick a chain of attacks, you must list the attacks/jutsus that you want Joshua to perform. E is just a summon now, but I think we could use it in a chain as well, as long as it's only one at a time. I think it used to be a free will, but we don't need that if we just have a chain attack option.
Basically, the action vote is just like, make moves, and Joshua will perform them, and depending on how reasonable they are, he will be successful, mildly successful, get injured or killed.
That's just the way I see it, I guess.

B, Cadence.
I was going to say we need to upgrade her little boy to fat man, but wasnt the little boy actually the more powerful bomb?
As for the action choices, I think we're supposed to just pick the chain. Forte would do the work of deciding what to chain together.

Dang.... I guess that's what I get for being wrong about the lightning....
I'm thinking that maybe the captain has information that ONLY Joshua should hear. If we try to take more people, the Captain might be too timid to say. But I'd feel kind of bad leaving everyone to themselves. Maybe Cadence and Hannah could get boozed up some more, right clown? LOLZ.
Another thing.... What the frack? Hannah is only 15 years old, but she can drink already? And she's freaking powerful. Man... It seems that everyone we know is either equal to us or more powerful.

Well, if you find exploitables, I'm probably not one to discourage you from using them. And whatever knowledge you bring in from the outside is fine with me. I mean, I can follow your voting style, so I really can't complain.
Also, you can chain summonings into your other moves as well, I just have them listed separately 'cause they're kind of different from the other stuff. And yeah, I basically removed free will in that section at least because it became redundant, really. At least, that's how I saw it.
Eh, I have no issues with the voting so far. If you guys have issues, though, then just tell me and I'll try to fix them up.
